1 ১ আরোহণ-গীত। দায়ূদের। সদাপ্রভুু, আমার হৃদয় গর্বিত অথবা আমার দৃষ্টি উদ্ধত নয়। আমার নিজের জন্য আমার বিরাট আশা নেই অথবা আমার মাথাব্যথা নেই সেই জিনিসের সঙ্গে যেগুলো আমার থেকে বহূ দূরে

A song of ascents. Of David. My heart is not proud, O LORD, my eyes are not haughty. I do not aspire to great things or matters too lofty for me.

2 ২ প্রকৃত পক্ষে আমি এখনো আমার আত্মাকে শান্ত রেখেছি; বুকের দুধ ছাড়ানো শিশুর মতো, আমার আত্মা বুকের দুধ ছাড়ানো শিশুর মতো আমার সঙ্গে আছে,

Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul; like a weaned child with his mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me.
