1 ১ আরোহনের গীত। আমি পর্বতদের দিকে চোখ তুলবো। কোথা থেকে আমার সাহায্য আসবে?

“A psalm of the steps, or the goings up.” I lift up mine eyes to the hills: Whence cometh my help?

2 ২ আমার সাহায্য সদাপ্রভুুর থেকে আসবে, যিনি আকাশ ও পৃথিবীর সৃষ্টি করেছেন।

My help cometh from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.

3 ৩ তিনি তোমার পা পিছলে যেতে দেবেন না; যিনি তোমায় রক্ষা করবেন তিনি ঘুমিয়ে পড়বেন না।

He will not suffer thy foot to stumble; Thy guardian doth not slumber.

4 ৪ দেখ, ইস্রায়েলের পালক, কখনো ঢুলে পড়েন না, ঘুমান না।

Behold, the guardian of Israel Doth neither slumber nor sleep.

5 ৫ সদাপ্রভুুই তোমার পালক; সদাপ্রভুু তোমার ছায়া, তোমার ডান হাত।

The LORD is thy guardian; The LORD is thy shade at thy right hand.

6 ৬ সূর্য্য তোমাকে দিনের ক্ষতি করবে না, রাতে চাঁদও না।

The sun shall not smite thee by day, Nor the moon by night.

7 ৭ সদাপ্রভুু তোমাকে সব মন্দ থেকে রক্ষা করবেন, তিনি তোমার প্রাণ রক্ষা করবেন।

The LORD will preserve thee from all evil; He will preserve thy life.

8 ৮ সদাপ্রভুু রক্ষা করবেন তোমাকে তোমার সব কাজেতে এখন থেকে চিরকাল পর্যন্ত।

The LORD will preserve thee, when thou goest out and when thou comest in, From this time forth for ever.
