গীতসংহিতা 118

1 ১ ধন্যবাদ দাও সদাপ্রভুুকে, কারণ তিনি মঙ্গলময়, তাঁর বিশ্বস্ততার বিধি অনন্তকালস্থায়ী।

O give thanks unto the LORD; for [he is] good: because his mercy [endureth] for ever.

2 ২ ইস্রায়েল বলুক, “তাঁর বিশ্বস্ততার বিধি অনন্তকালস্থায়ী।”

Let Israel now say, that his mercy [endureth] for ever.

3 ৩ হারোণের কূল বলুক, “তাঁর দয়া অনন্তকালস্থায়ী।”

Let the house of Aaron now say, that his mercy [endureth] for ever.

4 ৪ সদাপ্রভুুর বিশ্বস্ত অনুগামীরা বলুক, “তাঁর বিশ্বস্ততার বিধি অনন্তকালস্থায়ী।”

Let them now that fear the LORD say, that his mercy [endureth] for ever.

5 ৫ আমি সঙ্কটের মধ্য থেকে সদাপ্রভুুকে ডাকলাম; সদাপ্রভুু আমাকে উত্তর দিলেন এবং আমাকে মুক্ত করলেন।

I called upon the LORD in distress: the LORD answered me, [and set me] in a large place.

6 ৬ সদাপ্রভুু আমার সঙ্গে আছেন, আমি ভয় করব না; মানুষ আমার কি করতে পারে?

The LORD [is] on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?

7 ৭ সদাপ্রভুু আমার পক্ষে আছেন আমার সাহায্যকারী হিসাবে, আমি বিজয়ী হব তাদের ওপর যারা আমাকে ঘৃণা করে।

The LORD taketh my part with them that help me: therefore shall I see [my desire] upon them that hate me.

8 ৮ মানুষের ওপর বিশ্বাস করার থেকে সদাপ্রভুুর আশ্রয় নেওয়া ভালো।

[It is] better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man.

9 ৯ মানুষের ওপর আস্থা রাখার থেকে সদাপ্রভুুতে ভরসা করা ভালো।

[It is] better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in princes.

10 ১০ সমস্ত জাতি আমাকে ঘিরে আছে; সদাপ্রভুুর ক্ষমতায় আমি তাদেরকে বিচ্ছিন্ন করব।

All nations compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD will I destroy them.

11 ১১ তারা আমাকে ঘিরে আছে; হ্যাঁ, আমাকে ঘিরে আছে, সদাপ্রভুুর নামে আমি তাদেরকে বিচ্ছিন্ন করব।

They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: but in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.

12 ১২ তারা আমাকে ঘিরে আছে মৌমাছির মতো, তারা কাঁটার আগুনের মত অদৃশ্য হয়ে গেল; সদাপ্রভুুর নামে আমি তাদেরকে বিচ্ছিন্ন করব।

They compassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: for in the name of the LORD I will destroy them.

13 ১৩ তুমি আমাকে ফেলে দেবার জন্য আক্রমণ করলে, কিন্তু সদাপ্রভুু আমাকে সাহায্য করলেন।

Thou hast thrust sore at me that I might fall: but the LORD helped me.

14 ১৪ সদাপ্রভুু আমার শক্তি এবং আনন্দ এবং তিনি একমাত্র আমার পরিত্রান দিয়েছেন।

The LORD [is] my strength and song, and is become my salvation.

15 ১৫ ধার্ম্মিকদের তাঁবু থেকে বিজয় আনন্দের চিত্কার শোনা যাচ্ছে সদাপ্রভুুর ডান হাত বিজেতা।

The voice of rejoicing and salvation [is] in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.

16 ১৬ সদাপ্রভুুর ডান হাত উন্নত, সদাপ্রভুুর ডান হাত বিজেতা।

The right hand of the LORD is exalted: the right hand of the LORD doeth valiantly.

17 ১৭ আমি মরবো না, কিন্তু জীবিত থাকব এবং সদাপ্রভুুর কাজ ঘোষণা করবো।

I shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the LORD.

18 ১৮ সদাপ্রভুু আমাকে কঠোরভাবে শাস্তি দিয়েছেন, কিন্তু মৃত্যুর হাতে সঁপে দেননি।

The LORD hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death.

19 ১৯ আমার জন্য দরজা খুলে দাও যেখানে ঈশ্বরের লোকেরা প্রবেশ করে; আমি তার ভেতর যাবো এবং সদাপ্রভুুকে দেব।

Open to me the gates of righteousness: I will go into them, [and] I will praise the LORD:

20 ২০ এটাই সদাপ্রভুুর দরজা, ধার্মিকরা এর ভেতর দিয়ে ঢোকে।

This gate of the LORD, into which the righteous shall enter.

21 ২১ আমি তোমাকে ধন্যবাদ দেবো, কারণ তুমি আমাকে উত্তর দিয়েছো এবং তুমি আমার পরিত্রান হয়েছ।

I will praise thee: for thou hast heard me, and art become my salvation.

22 ২২ নির্মাতারা যে পাথর বাতিল করেছিল তা কোনের প্রধান পাথর হয়ে উঠল।

The stone [which] the builders refused is become the head [stone] of the corner.

23 ২৩ এটা সদাপ্রভুুর কাজ; এটা আমার চোখে অদ্ভুত।

This is the LORD’s doing; it [is] marvellous in our eyes.

24 ২৪ এই সেই দিন যেদিন সদাপ্রভুু করেছেন; আমরা আনন্দ করবো এবং এতে আনন্দিত হবো।

This [is] the day [which] the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.

25 ২৫ অনুগ্রহ করে আমাদের বিজয় দাও, সদাপ্রভুু।

Save now, I beseech thee, O LORD: O LORD, I beseech thee, send now prosperity.

26 ২৬ ধন্য তিনি যিনি সদাপ্রভুুর নামে আসছেন; আমরা সদাপ্রভুুর ঘর থেকে তোমাদেরকে ধন্যবাদ করি।

Blessed [be] he that cometh in the name of the LORD: we have blessed you out of the house of the LORD.

27 ২৭ সদাপ্রভুুই ঈশ্বর; তিনি আমাদেরকে আলো দিয়েছেন; তোমরা দড়ি দিয়ে উৎসবের বলি বেদির শিঙে বাঁধ।

God [is] the LORD, which hath shewed us light: bind the sacrifice with cords, [even] unto the horns of the altar.

28 ২৮ তুমি আমার ঈশ্বর এবং আমি তোমাকে ধন্যবাদ দেবো তুমি আমার ঈশ্বর, আমি তোমাকে উচ্চে স্থাপন করব।

Thou [art] my God, and I will praise thee: [thou art] my God, I will exalt thee.

29 ২৯ ওহ তোমরা সদাপ্রভুুকে ধন্যবাদ দাও, কারণ তিনি মঙ্গলময়; কারণ তাঁর বিশ্বস্ত বিধি অনন্তকালস্থায়ী।

O give thanks unto the LORD; for [he is] good: for his mercy [endureth] for ever.
