গীতসংহিতা 116

1 ১ আমি সদাপ্রভুুকে প্রেম করি, কারণ তিনি শোনেন আমার রব এবং আমার ক্ষমার বিনতি।

I love the LORD, because he has heard my voice and my supplications.

2 ২ কারণ তিনি আমার কথা শোনেন, আমি যতদিন বাঁচব তাঁকে ডাকব।

Because he has inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.

3 ৩ মৃত্যুর দড়ি আমাকে চারপাশে ঘিরে ধরল এবং পাতালের ফাঁদ আমার মুখোমুখি, আমি কষ্ট এবং দুঃখ অনুভব করলাম। (Sheol h7585)

The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell got hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow. (Sheol h7585)

4 ৪ তখন আমি সদাপ্রভুুর নামে ডাকলাম; “সদাপ্রভুু অনুগ্রহ কর, আমার জীবন উদ্ধার কর।”

Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I plead to you, deliver my soul.

5 ৫ সদাপ্রভুু করুণাময় এবং ন্যায্য, আমাদের ঈশ্বর দয়াশীল।

Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.

6 ৬ সদাপ্রভুু সরল লোকদেরকে রক্ষা করেন; আমি দীনহীন হলে এবং তিনি আমার পরিত্রান করলেন।

The LORD perserves the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.

7 ৭ আমার আত্মা ফিরে যাও, তোমার বিশ্রামের জায়গায় ফিরে যাও, কারণ সদাপ্রভুু তোমার মঙ্গল করেছেন।

Return unto your rest, O my soul; for the LORD has dealt bountifully with you.

8 ৮ কারণ তুমি মৃত্যু থেকে আমার আত্মাকে মুক্ত করেছো, আমার চোখকে চোখের জল থেকে এবং পা কে হোঁচট থেকে উদ্ধার করেছ।

For you have delivered my soul from death, mine eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.

9 ৯ আমি সদাপ্রভুুর সেবা করবো জীবিতদের দেশে।

I will walk before the LORD in the land of the living.

10 ১০ আমার বিশ্বাস আছে, তাই কথা বলব; আমি নিতান্ত দুঃখার্ত্ত ছিলাম তবুও সদাপ্রভুতে আমার বিশ্বাস অবিচল ছিল।

I believed, therefore have I spoken: I was greatly afflicted:

11 ১১ আমি উদ্বেগে বলিয়াছিলাম, মানুষমাত্র মিথ্যাবাদী।

I said in my haste, All men are liars.

12 ১২ আমি সদাপ্রভুু থেকে যে সকল মঙ্গল পেয়েছি, তাঁর পরিবর্তে তাকে কি ফিরিয়ে দিব?

What shall I render unto the LORD for all his benefits toward me?

13 ১৩ আমি পরিত্রানের পানপাত্র গ্রহণ করব এবং সদাপ্রভুুর নামে ডাকব।

I will take the cup of salvation, and call upon the name of the LORD.

14 ১৪ আমি সদাপ্রভুুর কাছে আমার মানত সকল পূর্ণ করব; তাঁর সমস্ত প্রজার সাক্ষাৎেই করব।

I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.

15 ১৫ সদাপ্রভুুর দৃষ্টিতে বহুমূল্য তার সাধুগনের মৃত্যু।

Precious in the sight of the LORD is the death of his saints.

16 ১৬ বিনয় করি, সদাপ্রভুু, আমি তোমার দাস; আমি তোমার দাস, তোমার দাসীর ছেলে; তুমি আমার বন্ধন সকল মুক্ত করেছ।

O LORD, truly I am your servant; I am your servant, and the son of your handmaid: you have loosed my bonds.

17 ১৭ আমি তোমার উদ্দেশ্যে স্তব বলি উৎসর্গ করব, আর সদাপ্রভুুর নামে ডাকব।

I will offer to you the sacrifice of thanksgiving, and will call upon the name of the LORD.

18 ১৮ সদাপ্রভুুর কাছে আমার মানত সকল পূর্ণ করব, তাঁর সমস্ত প্রজার সাক্ষাৎেই করব,

I will pay my vows unto the LORD now in the presence of all his people.

19 ১৯ সদাপ্রভুুর গৃহের প্রাঙ্গণে, হে যিরুশালেম তোমারই মধ্যে পূর্ণ করব। তোমরা সদাপ্রভুুর প্রশংসা কর।

In the courts of the LORD's house, in the midst of you, O Jerusalem. Praise all of you the LORD.
