গীতসংহিতা 112

1 ১ সদাপ্রভুুর প্রশংসা কর। ধন্য সে লোক যে সদাপ্রভুুকে মান্য করে, যে তাঁর আদেশে অত্যন্ত আনন্দিত হয়।

Praise ye the LORD. Blessed is the man that feareth the LORD, that delighteth greatly in his commandments.

2 ২ তাঁর বংশ পৃথিবীতে শক্তিশালী হবে; ধার্ম্মিকেরা ধন্য হবে।

His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.

3 ৩ তার ঘরে সম্পদ এবং ঐশ্বর্য্য থাকে; তার ধার্ম্মিকতা নিত্যস্থায়ী হবে।

Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

4 ৪ অন্ধকারে আলোর জ্যোতি হবে ধার্মিক লোকেদের জন্য; সে করুণাময়, ক্ষমাশীল এবং ধার্মিক।

To the upright there ariseth light in darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.

5 ৫ এটা সেই মানুষদের ভালো হবে যে করুণা করে এবং টাকা ধার দেয়, যে সততার সঙ্গে তার ব্যপারে ভালো আচরন করে।

A good man showeth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion.

6 ৬ কারণ তাকে কখনো সরানো যাবে না; ধার্ম্মিকদের চিরকাল মনে রাখবে।

Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.

7 ৭ সে খারাপ খবরে ভয় পায় না, সে সুনিশ্চিত, সদাপ্রভুুতে নির্ভর করে।

He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.

8 ৮ তার হৃদয় শান্ত, ভয় নেই, যতক্ষণ না সে তার বিপক্ষদের ওপর বিজয় দেখে।

His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he seeth his desire upon his enemies.

9 ৯ সে উদারভাবে গরিবদের দেয় তার ধার্ম্মিকতা চিরকালীন; সে বলবান এবং সম্মানে উচ্চ হবে।

He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; his righteousness endureth for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.

10 ১০ দুষ্টলোক এটা দেখবে এবং রাগ করবে; সে দাঁতে দাঁত ঘষবে এবং গলে যাবে; দুষ্টলোকের ইচ্ছা বিনষ্ট হবে।

The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.
