আদিপুস্তক 5

1 ১ আদমের বংশাবলী (1 বংশাবলী 1-4) পত্র এই। যে দিন ঈশ্বর মানুষের সৃষ্টি করলেন, সেই দিনের ঈশ্বরের সাদৃশ্যেই তাঁকে তৈরী করলেন,

This is the book of the generations of Adam. In the day that God created man, in the likeness of God made he him;

2 ২ পুরুষ ও স্ত্রী করে তাঁদের সৃষ্টি করলেন; এবং সেই সৃষ্টিদিনে তাঁদেরকে আশীর্বাদ করে আদম, এই নাম দিলেন।

Male and female created he them; and blessed them, and called their name Adam, in the day when they were created.

3 ৩ পরে আদম একশো ত্রিশ বছর বয়সে নিজের মতো ও প্রতিমূর্ত্তিতে ছেলের জন্ম দিয়ে তার নাম শেথ রাখলেন।

And Adam lived an hundred and thirty years, and brings forth a son in his own likeness, and after his image; and called his name Seth:

4 ৪ শেথের জন্ম দিলে পর আদম আটশো বছর জীবিত থেকে আরও ছেলেমেয়ের জন্ম দিলেন।

And the days of Adam after he had begotten Seth were eight hundred years: and he brings forth sons and daughters:

5 ৫ সব মিলিয়ে আদমের নয়শো ত্রিশ বছর বয়স হলে তাঁর মৃত্যু হল।

And all the days that Adam lived were nine hundred and thirty years: and he died.

6 ৬ শেথ একশো পাঁচ বছর বয়সে ইনোশের জন্ম দিলেন।

And Seth lived an hundred and five years, and brings forth Enos:

7 ৭ ইনোশের জন্ম দিলে পর শেথ আটশো সাত বছর জীবিত থেকে আরও ছেলেমেয়ের জন্ম দিলেন।

And Seth lived after he brings forth Enos eight hundred and seven years, and brings forth sons and daughters:

8 ৮ সব মিলিয়ে শেথের নয়শো বারো বছর বয়স হলে তাঁর মৃত্যু হল।

And all the days of Seth were nine hundred and twelve years: and he died.

9 ৯ ইনোশ নব্বই বছর বয়সে কৈননের জন্ম দিলেন।

And Enos lived ninety years, and brings forth Cainan:

10 ১০ কৈননের জন্ম দিলে পর ইনোশ আটশো পনের বছর জীবিত থেকে আরও ছেলেমেয়ের জন্ম দিলেন।

And Enos lived after he brings forth Cainan eight hundred and fifteen years, and brings forth sons and daughters:

11 ১১ সব মিলিয়ে ইনোশের নয়শো পাঁচ বছর বয়স হলে তাঁর মৃত্যু হল।

And all the days of Enos were nine hundred and five years: and he died.

12 ১২ কৈনন সত্তর বছর বয়সে মহললেলের জন্ম দিলেন।

And Cainan lived seventy years and brings forth Mahalaleel:

13 ১৩ মহললেলের জন্ম দিলে পর কৈনন আটশো চল্লিশ বছর জীবিত থেকে আরও ছেলেমেয়ের জন্ম দিলেন।

And Cainan lived after he brings forth Mahalaleel eight hundred and forty years, and brings forth sons and daughters:

14 ১৪ সব মিলিয়ে কৈননের নয়শো দশ বছর বয়স হলে তাঁর মৃত্যু হল।

And all the days of Cainan were nine hundred and ten years: and he died.

15 ১৫ মহললেল পঁয়ষট্টি বছর বয়সে যেরদের জন্ম দিলেন।

And Mahalaleel lived sixty and five years, and brings forth Jared:

16 ১৬ যেরদের জন্ম দিলে পর মহললেল আটশো ত্রিশ বছর জীবিত থেকে আরও ছেলেমেয়ের জন্ম দিলেন।

And Mahalaleel lived after he brings forth Jared eight hundred and thirty years, and brings forth sons and daughters:

17 ১৭ সব মিলিয়ে মহললেলের আটশো পঁচানব্বই বছর বয়স হলে তাঁর মৃত্যু হল।

And all the days of Mahalaleel were eight hundred ninety and five years: and he died.

18 ১৮ যেরদ একশো বাষট্টি বছর বয়সে হনোকের জন্ম দিলেন।

And Jared lived an hundred sixty and two years, and he brings forth Enoch:

19 ১৯ হনোকের জন্ম দিলে পর যেরদ আটশো বছর জীবিত থেকে আরও ছেলেমেয়ের জন্ম দিলেন।

And Jared lived after he brings forth Enoch eight hundred years, and brings forth sons and daughters:

20 ২০ সব মিলিয়ে যেরদের নয়শো বাষটি বছর বয়স হলে তাঁর মৃত্যু হল।

And all the days of Jared were nine hundred sixty and two years: and he died.

21 ২১ হনোক পয়ষট্টি বছর বয়সে মথূশেলহের জন্ম দিলেন।

And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and brings forth Methuselah:

22 ২২ মথূশেলহের জন্ম দিলে পর হনোক তিনশো বছর ঈশ্বরের সঙ্গে যাতায়াত করলেন এবং আরও ছেলেমেয়ের জন্ম দিলেন।

And Enoch walked with God after he brings forth Methuselah three hundred years, and brings forth sons and daughters:

23 ২৩ সব মিলিয়ে হনোক তিনশো পয়ষটি বছর থাকলেন।

And all the days of Enoch were three hundred sixty and five years:

24 ২৪ হনোক ঈশ্বরের সঙ্গে যাতায়াত করতেন। পরে তিনি আর থাকলেন না, কারণ ঈশ্বর তাঁকে গ্রহণ করলেন।

And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him.

25 ২৫ মথূশেলহ একশো সাতাশী বছর বয়সে লেমকের জন্ম দিলেন।

And Methuselah lived an hundred eighty and seven years, and brings forth Lamech.

26 ২৬ লেমকের জন্ম দিলে পর মথূশেলহ সাতশো বিরাশী বছর জীবিত থেকে আরও ছেলেমেয়ের জন্ম দিলেন।

And Methuselah lived after he brings forth Lamech seven hundred eighty and two years, and brings forth sons and daughters:

27 ২৭ সব মিলিয়ে মথূশেলহের নয়শো ঊনসত্তর বছর বয়স হলে তাঁর মৃত্যু হল।

And all the days of Methuselah were nine hundred sixty and nine years: and he died.

28 ২৮ লেমক একশো বিরাশী বৎসর বয়সে ছেলের জন্ম দিয়ে তাঁর নাম নোহ [বিশ্রাম] রাখলেন;

And Lamech lived an hundred eighty and two years, and brings forth a son:

29 ২৯ তিনি নোহের নাম ধরে ডাকলেন, বললেন, “সদাপ্রভুর মাধ্যমে অভিশপ্ত ভূমি থেকে আমাদের যে শ্রম ও হাতের কষ্ট হয়, তার বিষয়ে এ আমাদেরকে সান্ত্বনা করবে।”

And he called his name Noah, saying, This same shall comfort us concerning our work and toil of our hands, because of the ground which the LORD has cursed.

30 ৩০ নোহের জন্ম দিলে পর লেমক পাঁচশো পঁচানব্বই বছর জীবিত থেকে আরও ছেলেমেয়ের জন্ম দিলেন।

And Lamech lived after he brings forth Noah five hundred ninety and five years, and brings forth sons and daughters:

31 ৩১ সব মিলিয়ে লেমকের সাতশো সাতাত্তর বছর বয়স হলে তাঁর মৃত্যু হল।

And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.

32 ৩২ পরে নোহ পাঁচশো বছর বয়সে শেম, হাম ও যেফতের জন্ম দিলেন।

And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah brings forth Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
