The LORD’s word came to me, saying,
2 ২ মানুষের সন্তান, তুমি যিরুশালেমের দিকে মুখ রাখ, পবিত্র জায়গার বিরুদ্ধে কথা বল ও ইস্রায়েল দেশের বিরুদ্ধে ভাববাণী বল।
“Son of man, set your face toward Jerusalem, and proclaim toward the sanctuaries, and prophesy against Eretz-Israel.
3 ৩ ইস্রায়েল দেশকে বল, সদাপ্রভু এই কথা বলেন, দেখ, আমি তোমার বিপক্ষ; আমি কোষ থেকে আমার তরোয়াল বের করে তোমাদের মধ্য থেকে ধার্মিক ও দুষ্টকে বিচ্ছিন্ন করব।
Tell Eretz-Israel, ‘The LORD says: “Behold, I am against you, and will draw my sword out of its sheath, and will cut off from you the righteous and the wicked.
4 ৪ তোমাদের মধ্য থেকে ধার্মিক ও দুষ্টকে বিচ্ছিন্ন করব, আমার তরোয়াল কোষ থেকে বের হয়ে দক্ষিণ থেকে উত্তর পর্যন্ত সব প্রাণীর বিরুদ্ধে যাবে;
Seeing then that I will cut off from you the righteous and the wicked, therefore my sword will go out of its sheath against all flesh from the south to the north.
5 ৫ তারপর সব প্রাণী জানবে যে আমি, সদাপ্রভু কোষ থেকে আমি তরোয়াল বের করেছি, তা আর ফিরিয়ে আনা যাবেনা।
All flesh will know that I, the LORD, have drawn my sword out of its sheath. It will not return any more.”’
6 ৬ এবং তুমি মানুষের সন্তান, আর্তনাদ কর যেন তোমার কোমর ভেঙে গেছে, তাদের চোখের সামনে গভীর মনবেদনার সঙ্গে আর্তনাদ কর।
“Therefore sigh, you son of man. You shall sigh before their eyes with a broken heart and with bitterness.
7 ৭ তারপর এটা হবে যে তারা তোমাকে জিজ্ঞাসা করবে, কি কারণে আর্তনাদ করছো? তখন বলবে, কারণ যে খবরটা আসছে; তখন প্রত্যেক হৃদয় গলে যাবে, প্রত্যেক হাত দুর্বল হবে, প্রত্যেক আত্মা নিস্তেজ হবে ও প্রত্যেক হাঁটু জলের মত হয়ে পড়বে; দেখ, যেটা আসছে, সেটা সফলও হবে! এটা প্রভু সদাপ্রভু বলেন।
It shall be, when they ask you, ‘Why do you sigh?’ that you shall say, ‘Because of the news, for it comes! Every heart will melt, all hands will be feeble, every spirit will faint, and all knees will be weak as water. Behold, it comes, and it shall be done, says the Lord GOD.’”
The LORD’s word came to me, saying,
9 ৯ মানুষের সন্তান, ভাববাণী বল, সদাপ্রভু এ কথা বলেন; তুমি বল, তরোয়াল, তরোয়াল ওটা ধারালো ও পালিশ করা হয়েছে।
“Son of man, prophesy, and say, ‘The LORD says: “A sword! A sword! It is sharpened, and also polished.
10 ১০ ওটা ধারালো করা হয়েছে, যেন হত্যা করা যায়, পালিশ করা হয়েছে, যেন বিদ্যুতের মত হয়; তবে আমরা কি আনন্দ করব আমার ছেলের রাজদন্ডের জন্য? আগুয়ান তরোয়াল ঘৃণা করে প্রত্যেক দন্ড।
It is sharpened that it may make a slaughter. It is polished that it may be as lightning. Should we then make mirth? The rod of my son condemns every tree.
11 ১১ তাই তরোয়াল পালিশ করার জন্য দেওয়া হয়েছে, যেন হাত দিয়ে ধরা যায়; তরোয়াল ধারালো ও পালিশ করা হয়েছে, যেন হত্যাকারীর হাতে দেওয়া যায়।
It is given to be polished, that it may be handled. The sword is sharpened. Yes, it is polished to give it into the hand of the killer.”’
12 ১২ সাহায্যের জন্য ডাকো এবং বিলাপ করো, মানুষের সন্তান, কারণ আমার লোকেদের বিরুদ্ধে খড়্গ আসছে, এটা ইস্রায়েলের সব অধ্যক্ষের বিরুদ্ধে উপস্থিত হয়েছে; যাদের ওপর তরোয়াল আরোপিত করা হয়েছে তারা আমার লোক অতএব দুঃখে তুমি তোমার উরুতে আঘাত কর।
Cry and wail, son of man; for it is on my people. It is on all the princes of Israel. They are delivered over to the sword with my people. Therefore beat your thigh.
“For there is a trial. What if even the rod that condemns will be no more?” says the Lord GOD.
14 ১৪ এখন তুমি মানুষের সন্তান, ভাববাণী বল এবং একসঙ্গে দুহাতে আঘাত কর; কারণ তরোয়াল আক্রমণ করবে এমনকি তিনবার, একটা তরোয়াল এক জনকে হত্যা করবে, এই তরোয়াল অনেক লোককে হত্যা করবে, তা সব জায়গায় তাদের হত্যাকারী হবে।
“You therefore, son of man, prophesy, and strike your hands together. Let the sword be doubled the third time, the sword of the fatally wounded. It is the sword of the great one who is fatally wounded, which enters into their rooms.
15 ১৫ তাদের হৃদয় গলানোর জন্য এবং অনেক বাধা পাওয়ার জন্য আমি তাদের সব শহর-দ্বারে তরোয়ালের ত্রাস রাখলাম, আঃ। তা বিদ্যুতের মত তৈরী, হত্যাকারীর জন্য মুক্ত।
I have set the threatening sword against all their gates, that their heart may melt, and their stumblings be multiplied. Ah! It is made as lightning. It is pointed for slaughter.
16 ১৬ তরোয়াল, ডানদিকে আঘাত কর, বাঁদিকে আঘাত কর; যে দিকে তোমার ব্লেডের তীক্ষ্ণ ধার ইচ্ছা করে সে দিকে যাও।
Gather yourselves together. Go to the right. Set yourselves in array. Go to the left, wherever your face is set.
I will also strike my hands together, and I will cause my wrath to rest. I, the LORD, have spoken it.”
The LORD’s word came to me again, saying,
19 ১৯ এখন তুমি, মানুষের সন্তান, দুটো রাস্তা ভাগ করে দাও বাবিল-রাজের তরোয়াল আসবার জন্য। দুটো রাস্তা শুরু করবে একই দেশের মধ্যে এবং একটা চিহ্ন স্তম্ভ তাদের জন্যে থাকবে শহরে আসার জন্য
“Also, you son of man, appoint two ways, that the sword of the king of Babylon may come. They both will come out of one land, and mark out a place. Mark it out at the head of the way to the city.
20 ২০ একটা রাস্তা চিহ্নিত কর বাবিলনের সৈন্যদের রব্বাতে আসার জন্য, অম্মোনীয়দের শহর। আর একটি চিহ্নিত কর যিহূদার সৈন্যদের নিয়ে যাবার জন্য এবং যিরুশালেম যা দেওয়াল দিয়ে ঘেরা।
You shall appoint a way for the sword to come to Rabbah of the children of Ammon, and to Judah in Jerusalem the fortified.
21 ২১ কারণ বাবিল-রাজ রাস্তার সংযোগস্থলে থামবে ভবিষ্যদ্বানী অনুমান করার জন্য, সে কিছু তীর সঞ্চালন করবে, ঠাকুরদের কাছে নির্দেশ চাইবে। সে যকৃৎ পরীক্ষা করবে।
For the king of Babylon stood at the parting of the way, at the head of the two ways, to use divination. He shook the arrows back and forth. He consulted the teraphim. He looked in the liver.
22 ২২ তার ডানদিকে নির্দেশ আসবে যিরুশালেমের বিষয়ে, তার জন্য ঠিক জায়গায় থেকে মেষদের আঘাত করার বিরুদ্ধে তার জন্যতার মুখ খোলে হত্যার আদেশ শুরু করার জন্য। তার জন্য তার যুদ্ধের চিত্কার, তার জন্য দরজার বিপক্ষে থেকে মেষদের আঘাত করা। তার জন্য মাটির ঢিবি করা এবং অবরোধ করার জন্য উঁচু দেওয়াল দেওয়া।
In his right hand was the lot for Jerusalem, to set battering rams, to open the mouth in the slaughter, to lift up the voice with shouting, to set battering rams against the gates, to cast up mounds, and to build forts.
23 ২৩ যিরুশালেমে এটা মনে হবে তাদের দৃষ্টিতে বেকার; যারা ব্যাবিলনীয়দের কাছে শপথ করেছিল; কিন্তু রাজা তাদের দোষারোপ করল চুক্তি ভঙ্গ করার জন্য তাদের অবরোধ করল।
It will be to them as a false divination in their sight, who have sworn oaths to them; but he brings iniquity to memory, that they may be taken.
24 ২৪ এজন্য প্রভু সদাপ্রভু এ কথা বলেন, কারণ তোমার নিজেদের অপরাধ স্মরণ করেছ, কারণ তোমাদের অধর্ম্ম সব প্রকাশিত হল, তাই তোমাদের সব কাজে তোমাদের পাপ প্রকাশিত হয়, তোমার স্মরণীয় হওয়াতে শত্রুদের হাতে ধরা পড়বে।
“Therefore the Lord GOD says: ‘Because you have caused your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions are uncovered, so that in all your doings your sins appear; because you have come to memory, you will be taken with the hand.
“‘You, deadly wounded wicked one, the prince of Israel, whose day has come, in the time of the iniquity of the end,
26 ২৬ প্রভু সদাপ্রভু এ কথা বলেন, পাগড়ী সরাও ও রাজমুকুট খোল, যা আছে, তা আর থাকবে না; যা সহজ সরল তা উচ্চ হোক ও যা উচ্চ তা সহজ সরল হোক।
the Lord GOD says: “Remove the turban, and take off the crown. This will not be as it was. Exalt that which is low, and humble that which is high.
27 ২৭ আমি সব কিছু ধ্বংস, ধ্বংস, ধ্বংস করব; মুকুট আর থাকবে না, যতদিন তিনি না আসেন, এটায় যাঁর অধিকার; আমি তাঁকে দেব।
I will overturn, overturn, overturn it. This also will be no more, until he comes whose right it is; and I will give it.”’
28 ২৮ মানুষের সন্তান, ভাববাণী কর এবং বল, প্রভু সদাপ্রভু অম্মোন সন্তানদের বিষয়ে ও তাদের টিটকারির বিষয়ে এই কথা বলেন; একটা তরোয়াল, একটা তরোয়াল নিস্কসিত হয়েছে, এটা শাণিত হত্যা করে গ্রাস করার জন্য, তাই এটা বিদ্যুতের মত হবে।
“You, son of man, prophesy and say, ‘The Lord GOD says this concerning the children of Ammon, and concerning their reproach: “A sword! A sword is drawn! It is polished for the slaughter, to cause it to devour, that it may be as lightning;
29 ২৯ ভাববাদীরা তোমার জন্য মিথ্যা দর্শন পায় ও তোমার জন্য মিথ্যা ধর্ম অনুষ্ঠান করে, এই তরোয়াল দুষ্টদের ঘাড়ের ওপরে পড়বে তাদের হত্যা করা হবে যাদের শাস্তির দিন এসে গেছে এবং যাদের অপরাধের দিন শেষ হতে চলেছে
while they see for you false visions, while they divine lies to you, to lay you on the necks of the wicked who are deadly wounded, whose day has come in the time of the iniquity of the end.
30 ৩০ তরোয়াল তার কোষে ফিরিয়ে রাখ; তোমার সৃষ্টির জায়গায় ও যে দেশে উৎপন্ন হয়েছিলে, সেখানে আমি তোমার বিচার করব।
Cause it to return into its sheath. In the place where you were created, in the land of your birth, I will judge you.
31 ৩১ আমি তোমার উপরে আমার রাগ ঢেলে দেব আমি তোমার বিরুদ্ধে আমার প্রচন্ড রাগে ফুঁ দেব এবং তোমাকে নিষ্ঠুর, ধ্বংসের কারিগরের হাতে সমর্পণ করব।
I will pour out my indignation on you. I will blow on you with the fire of my wrath. I will deliver you into the hand of brutish men, skillful to destroy.
32 ৩২ তুমি জ্বালানীর কাঠের মত হবে; তোমার রক্ত দেশের মধ্যে পতিত হবে; লোকে তোমাকে স্মরণ করবে না, কারণ আমি সদাপ্রভু এটা বললাম।
You will be for fuel to the fire. Your blood will be in the middle of the land. You will be remembered no more; for I, the LORD, have spoken it.”’”
