২য় করিন্থীয় 9
For as concerning the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you:
2 ২ আমি তোমাদের ইচ্ছা সম্বন্ধে জানি, আমি মাকিদনীয়ার লোকদের জন্য গর্ব বোধ করি। আমি তাদের বলেছিলাম যে গত বছর থেকেই আখায়া তৈরী হয়ে রয়েছে। তোমাদের আগ্রহ তাদের বেশিরভাগ লোককে উৎসাহিত করে তুলেছে।
For I know the readiness of your mind, for which I boast of you to them of Macedonia, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal hath stirred up very many.
3 ৩ এখন আমি ভাইদের পাঠাচ্ছি, সুতরাং তোমাদের নিয়ে আমাদের যে অহঙ্কার তা যেন ব্যর্থ না হয় এবং আমি তোমাদের যে ভাবে বলবো তোমরা সেইভাবে তৈরী হবে।
Yet have I sent the brethren, lest our boasting of you should be in vain in this behalf; that, as I said, ye may be ready:
4 ৪ নয়ত, যদি কোনো মাকিদনীয় লোক আমার সঙ্গে আসে এবং তোমাদের তৈরী না দেখে, আমরা লজ্জায় পড়ব তোমাদের বিষয় আমার কিছু বলার থাকবে না তোমাদের বিষয় নিশ্চিত থাকবো।
Lest if they of Macedonia come with me, and find you unprepared, we ( that we say not, ye ) should be ashamed in this same confident boasting.
5 ৫ সুতরাং আমি চিন্তা করেছিলাম ভাইদের তোমার কাছে আগে আসার প্রয়োজন ছিল এবং তোমরা যে আশীর্বাদের প্রতিজ্ঞা করেছিলে সে বিষয়ে আগে থেকে ব্যবস্থা করা। এই ভাবে তৈরী থাকো যেন স্বাধীন ভাবে দান দিতে পার এবং তোমাদের দান দিতে জোর করা না হয়।
Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren, that they would go before to you, and make up beforehand your bounty, of which ye had notice before, that the same might be ready, as a matter of bounty, and not of covetousness.
6 ৬ বিষয়টি এই: যে অল্প পরিমাণে বীজ বুনবে সে অল্প পরিমাণে শস্য কাটবে এবং যে লোক আশীর্বাদের সঙ্গে বীজ বোনে সে আশীর্বাদের সঙ্গে শস্য কাটবে।
But this I say, He who soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he who soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
7 ৭ প্রত্যেকে নিজের মনে যে রকম পরিকল্পনা করেছে সেইভাবে দান করুক মনের দুঃখে অথবা দিতে হবে বলে দান না দিক কারণ খুশী মনে যে দান করে ঈশ্বর তাকে ভালবাসেন।
Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or by necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
8 ৮ এবং ঈশ্বর তোমাদের সব রকম আশীর্বাদ উপচে দিতে পারেন, সুতরাং, সবদিন, সব বিষয়ে, তোমাদের সব রকম প্রয়োজনে, সব রকম ভালো কাজে তোমরা এগিয়ে চল।
And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:
9 ৯ পবিত্র শাস্ত্রে যেমন লেখা আছে, “সে তার ধনসম্পদ ভাগ করে দিয়েছে এবং গরিবদের দান করেছে; তার ধার্ম্মিকতা চিরকাল স্থায়ী।” (aiōn g165)
( As it is written, He hath dispersed; he hath given to the poor: his righteousness remaineth for ever. (aiōn g165)
10 ১০ যিনি চাষীর জন্য বীজ এবং খাবারের জন্য রুটি যোগান দেন, তিনি আরো যোগান দেবেন এবং রোপণের জন্য তোমাদের বীজ বহুগুণ করবেন এবং তোমাদের ধার্মিকতার ফল বাড়িয়ে দেবেন।
Now may he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness; )
11 ১১ তোমরা সব দিক দিয়েই ধনী হবে যাতে দান করতে পার এবং এই ভাবে আমাদের ভিতর দিয়ে ঈশ্বরকে ধন্যবাদ দেওয়া হবে।
Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God.
12 ১২ তোমাদের এই পরিষেবার মাধ্যমে কেবলমাত্র পবিত্র লোকদের অভাব পূরণ করবে তা নয় কিন্তু ঈশ্বরের অনেক আরাধনার মাধ্যমে ঈশ্বরের উদ্দেশ্যে ছড়িয়ে পড়ছে।
For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings to God;
13 ১৩ তোমরা যে বিশ্বস্ত তোমাদের এই সেবা কাজ তা প্রমাণ করবে তোমরা আরো ঈশ্বরকে মহিমান্বিত করবে খ্রীষ্টের সুসমাচারে পাপ স্বীকার করে ও বাধ্য হয়ে এবং তোমাদের ও সকলের দান।
While by the proof of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection to the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution to them, and to all men;
14 ১৪ এবং তারা অনেকদিন ধরে তোমাদের জন্য প্রার্থনা করছে কারণ ঈশ্বরের অতি মহান অনুগ্রহের আশা তোমাদের ওপর পড়বে।
And by their prayer for you, who long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you.
15 ১৫ ব্যাখ্যা করা যায় না এমন দান, যা হলো তাঁর একমাত্র পুত্র যীশু খ্রিস্ট, তার জন্য ঈশ্বরের ধন্যবাদ হোক।
Thanks be to God for his unspeakable gift.
