প্রথম রাজাবলি 8
1 ১ তখন রাজা শলোমন দায়ূদ শহর, অর্থাৎ সিয়োন থেকে সদাপ্রভুর নিয়ম সিন্দুকটি নিয়ে আসবার জন্য ইস্রায়েলের প্রাচীনেরা, গোষ্ঠী সর্দারদের ও ইস্রায়েলীয় বংশের প্রধান লোকদের যিরূশালেমে তাঁর কাছে উপস্থিত করলেন।
Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the ancestral leaders of the children of Israel, to king Solomon in Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of YHWH out of the City of David, which is Zion.
2 ২ তাতে এথানীম মাসে, অর্থাৎ সপ্তম মাসে পর্বের দিনের ইস্রায়েলের ঐ সমস্ত লোক রাজা শলোমনের কাছে জড়ো হলেন।
All the men of Israel assembled themselves to king Solomon at the feast, in the month Ethanim, which is the seventh month.
All the elders of Israel came, and the priests took up the ark.
They brought up the ark of YHWH, and the Tent of Meeting, and all the holy vessels that were in the Tent; and the priests and the Levites brought them up.
5 ৫ রাজা শলোমন ও তাঁর কাছে জড়ো হওয়া সমস্ত ইস্রায়েলীয়েরা সিন্দুকটির সামনে এত ভেড়া ও গরু উৎসর্গ করলেন যে, সেগুলোর সংখ্যা গোনা গেল না।
King Solomon and all the congregation of Israel, who were assembled to him, were with him before the ark, sacrificing sheep and cattle, that could not be counted nor numbered for multitude.
6 ৬ তারপর যাজকেরা সদাপ্রভুর নিয়ম সিন্দুকটি নির্দিষ্ট জায়গায়, উপাসনা ঘরের ভিতরের কামরায়, অর্থাৎ মহাপবিত্র স্থানে করূবদের ডানার নীচে নিয়ে রাখলেন।
The priests brought in the ark of the covenant of YHWH to its place, into the inner sanctuary of the house, to the most holy place, under the wings of the cherubim.
For the cherubim spread forth their wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubim covered the ark and its poles above.
8 ৮ এই ডাণ্ডাগুলো এত লম্বা ছিল যে, সেগুলোর মাথা ভিতরের কামরার সামনের প্রধান কামরা, অর্থাৎ পবিত্র স্থান থেকে দেখা যেত, কিন্তু পবিত্র স্থানের বাইরে থেকে দেখা যেত না। সেগুলো আজও সেখানে রয়েছে।
The poles were so long that the ends of the poles were seen from the holy place before the inner sanctuary; but they were not seen outside. And there they are to this day.
9 ৯ ইস্রায়েলীয়েরা মিশর দেশ থেকে বের হয়ে আসবার পর সদাপ্রভু হোরেব পাহাড়ে তাদের জন্য যখন ব্যবস্থা স্থাপন করেছিলেন তখন মোশি সিন্দুকের মধ্যে যে পাথরের ফলক দুটি রেখেছিলেন সেই দুটি ছাড়া আর কিছুই তার মধ্যে ছিল না।
There was nothing in the ark except the two tablets of stone which Moses put there at Horeb, when YHWH made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of the land of Egypt.
It came to pass, when the priests had come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of YHWH,
11 ১১ সেই মেঘের জন্য যাজকেরা সেবা কাজ করতে পারলেন না, কারণ সদাপ্রভুর মহিমায় তাঁর ঘরটা পরিপূর্ণ হয়ে গিয়েছিল।
so that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud; for the glory of YHWH filled the house of YHWH.
Then Solomon said, "YHWH has said that he would dwell in the thick cloud.
I have surely built you a house of habitation, a place for you to dwell in forever."
14 ১৪ এই বলে রাজা জড়ো হওয়া সমস্ত ইস্রায়েলীয়দের দিকে ঘুরে তাদের আশীর্বাদ করলেন। তখন লোকেরা দাঁড়িয়ে ছিল।
The king turned his face about, and blessed all the assembly of Israel: and all the assembly of Israel stood.
15 ১৫ তারপর তিনি বললেন, “ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর গৌরব হোক। তিনি আমার বাবা দায়ূদের কাছে নিজের মুখে যা প্রতিজ্ঞা করেছিলেন তা নিজেই পূর্ণ করলেন। তিনি বলেছিলেন,
He said, "Blessed is YHWH, the God of Israel, who spoke with his mouth to David your father, and has with his hand fulfilled it, saying,
16 ১৬ ‘আমার লোক ইস্রায়েলীয়দের মিশর থেকে বের করে আনবার পর আমি ইস্রায়েলীয়দের কোনো গোষ্ঠীর শহর বেছে নিই নি যেখানে নিজেকে প্রকাশ করবার জন্য বাসস্থান হিসাবে একটা ঘর তৈরী করা যায়। কিন্তু আমার লোক ইস্রায়েলীয়দের শাসন করবার জন্য আমি দায়ূদকে বেছে নিয়েছি।’
'Since the day that I brought my people Israel out of Egypt, I chose no city out of all the tribes of Israel to build a house, so that my name might be there; nor did I choose anyone to be a leader over my people Israel. But I have chosen Jerusalem, so that my name may be there, and I have chosen David to be over my people Israel.'
"Now it was in the heart of David my father to build a house for the name of YHWH, the God of Israel.
18 ১৮ কিন্তু সদাপ্রভু আমার বাবা দায়ূদকে বলেছিলেন, ‘আমার নামের একটা ঘর তৈরী করবার ইচ্ছা যে তোমার অন্তরে আছে তা ভাল।
But YHWH said to David my father, 'Whereas it was in your heart to build a house for my name, you did well that it was in your heart.
19 ১৯ তবে ঘরটি তুমি তৈরী করবে না, করবে তোমার ছেলে, যে তোমার নিজের সন্তান। সেই আমার জন্য সেই ঘর তৈরী করবে।’
Nevertheless, you shall not build the house; but your son who shall come forth out of your body, he shall build the house for my name.'
20 ২০ সদাপ্রভু তাঁর প্রতিজ্ঞা রক্ষা করেছেন। আমার বাবা যে পদে ছিলেন আমি সেই পদ পেয়েছি। সদাপ্রভুর প্রতিজ্ঞা অনুসারে আমি ইস্রায়েলের সিংহাসনে বসেছি এবং ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর নামের জন্য আমি এই ঘরটি তৈরী করেছি।
YHWH has established his word that he spoke; for I have risen up in the place of David my father, and I sit on the throne of Israel, as YHWH promised, and have built the house for the name of YHWH, the God of Israel.
21 ২১ আমি সেখানে সেই নিয়ম সিন্দুকটি রাখবার জায়গা ঠিক করেছি যার মধ্যে রয়েছে সদাপ্রভুর দেওয়া ব্যবস্থা, যা তিনি মিশর থেকে আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের বের করে আনবার পর তাঁদের জন্য স্থাপন করেছিলেন।”
There I have set a place for the ark, in which is the covenant of YHWH, which he made with our fathers, when he brought them out of the land of Egypt."
22 ২২ তারপর শলোমন সেখানে জড়ো হওয়া ইস্রায়েলীয়দের সামনে সদাপ্রভুর বেদির কাছে দাঁড়িয়ে স্বর্গের দিকে হাত তুললেন।
Solomon stood before the altar of YHWH in the presence of all the assembly of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven. Now Solomon had made a bronze scaffold, eight feet and seven inches long, and eight feet and seven inches broad, and five feet and two inches high, and had set it in the midst of the court; and on it he stood, and kneeled down on his knees before all the assembly of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven.
23 ২৩ তিনি বললেন, “হে সদাপ্রভু ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর, উপরে স্বর্গে কিম্বা নীচে পৃথিবীতে তোমার মত ঈশ্বর আর কেউ নেই। তোমার যে দাসেরা মনে প্রাণে তোমার পথে চলে তুমি তাদের পক্ষে তোমার অটল ভালবাসার ব্যবস্থা রক্ষা করে থাক।
And he said, "YHWH, the God of Israel, there is no God like you, in heaven above, or on earth beneath; keeping covenant and loving kindness with your servants, who walk before you with all their heart;
24 ২৪ তোমার দাস আমার বাবা দায়ূদের কাছে তুমি যে প্রতিজ্ঞা করেছিলে তা তুমি রক্ষা করেছ। তুমি মুখে যা বলেছ কাজেও তা করেছ, আর আজকে আমরা তা দেখতে পাচ্ছি।
who have kept with your servant David my father that which you promised him. Yes, you spoke with your mouth, and have fulfilled it with your hand, as it is this day.
25 ২৫ এখন হে ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভু, তোমার দাস আমার বাবা দায়ূদের কাছে তুমি যে প্রতিজ্ঞা করেছিলে তা রক্ষা কর। তুমি বলেছিলে যদি কেবলমাত্র আমার সামনে তুমি যেমন চলেছ তেমনি তোমার বংশধরেরা আমার সামনে চলবার জন্য নিজের নিজের পথে সচেতন থাকে;
Now therefore, may YHWH, the God of Israel, keep with your servant David my father that which you have promised him, saying, 'There shall not fail you a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel, if only your children take heed to their way, to walk before me as you have walked before me.'
26 ২৬ তবে এখন, হে ইস্রায়েলের ঈশ্বর, যে প্রতিজ্ঞা তুমি তোমার দাস আমার বাবা দায়ূদের কাছে করেছিলে তা সফল হোক।
"Now therefore, YHWH, God of Israel, please let your word be verified, which you spoke to your servant David my father.
27 ২৭ কিন্তু সত্যিই কি ঈশ্বর পৃথিবীতে বাস করবেন? মহাকাশে, এমন কি, মহাকাশের সমস্ত জায়গা জুড়েও যখন তোমার জায়গা কম হয় তখন আমার তৈরী এই ঘরে কি তোমার জায়গা হবে?
But will God in very deed dwell on the earth? Look, heaven and the heaven of heavens can't contain you; how much less this house that I have built.
28 ২৮ তবুও হে আমার ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভু, তোমার দাসের প্রার্থনা ও অনুরোধে তুমি কান দাও। তোমার দাস আজ তোমার কাছে কাকুতি মিনতি ও প্রার্থনা করছে তা তুমি শোন।
Yet have respect for the prayer of your servant, and for his petition, YHWH my God, to listen to the cry and to the prayer which your servant prays before you this day;
29 ২৯ যে জায়গার বিষয় তুমি বলেছ, ‘এই জায়গায় আমার বাসস্থান হবে,’ সেই জায়গার দিকে, অর্থাৎ এই উপাসনা ঘরের দিকে তোমার চোখ দিন রাত খোলা থাকুক; আর এই জায়গার দিকে ফিরে তোমার দাস যখন প্রার্থনা করবে তখন তুমি তা শুনো।
that your eyes may be open toward this house night and day, even toward the place of which you have said, 'My name shall be there;' to listen to the prayer which your servant shall pray toward this place.
30 ৩০ এই জায়গার দিকে ফিরে তোমার দাস ও তোমার লোক ইস্রায়েলীয়েরা যখন অনুরোধ করবে তখন তাতে তুমি কান দিয়ো। তোমার বাসস্থান স্বর্গ থেকে তা তুমি শুনো এবং তাদের ক্ষমা কোরো।
Listen to the petition of your servant, and of your people Israel, when they shall pray toward this place. Yes, hear in heaven, your dwelling place; and when you hear, forgive.
31 ৩১ কোনো লোককে প্রতিবেশীর বিরুদ্ধে পাপ করলে তার নিজের উপর অভিশাপ ডেকে আনবার জন্য যদি তাকে শপথ করতে বাধ্য করা হয় এবং সে গিয়ে তোমার এই ঘরের বেদির সামনে সেই শপথ করে,
"If a man sins against his neighbor, and an oath is laid on him to cause him to swear, and he comes and swear before your altar in this house;
32 ৩২ তবে তুমি স্বর্গ থেকে সেই কথা শুনো এবং সাড়া দাও। তখন তোমার দাসদের তুমি বিচার করে দোষীর কাজের ফল তার মাথায় চাপিয়ে দিয়ে তাকে দোষী বলে প্রমাণ কোরো আর ধার্ম্মিককে তার কাজ অনুসারে ফল দিয়ে তাকে ধার্মিক বলে প্রমাণ কোরো।
then hear in heaven, and do, and judge your servants, condemning the wicked, to bring his way on his own head, and justifying the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness.
33 ৩৩ তোমার বিরুদ্ধে পাপ করবার দরুন যখন তোমার লোক ইস্রায়েলীয়েরা শত্রুর কাছে হেরে গিয়ে যদি আবার তোমার কাছে ফিরে আসে এবং এই উপাসনা ঘরে তোমার নাম স্বীকার করে তোমার কাছে প্রার্থনা ও অনুরোধ করবে,
"When your people Israel are struck down before the enemy, because they have sinned against you; if they turn again to you, and confess your name, and pray and make petition to you in this house:
34 ৩৪ তখন স্বর্গ থেকে তুমি তা শুনো এবং নিজের লোক ইস্রায়েলীয়দের পাপ ক্ষমা করে যে দেশ তুমি তাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের দিয়েছ সেখানে আবার তাদের ফিরিয়ে নিয়ে এসো।
then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of your people Israel, and bring them again to the land which you gave to their fathers.
35 ৩৫ তোমার বিরুদ্ধে তোমার লোকদের পাপ করবার দরুন যখন আকাশ বন্ধ হয়ে বৃষ্টি পড়বে না, তখন তারা যদি এই জায়গার দিকে ফিরে তোমার গৌরব করে ও তোমার কাছে প্রার্থনা করে এবং তোমার কাছ থেকে কষ্ট পেয়ে পাপ থেকে ফেরে,
"When the sky is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against you; if they pray toward this place, and confess your name, and turn from their sin, when you punish them:
36 ৩৬ তবে তুমি স্বর্গ থেকে তা শুনো এবং তোমার দাসদের, অর্থাৎ তোমার লোক ইস্রায়েলীয়দের পাপ ক্ষমা করে দিয়ো। জীবনে ঠিক ভাবে সৎ পথে চলতে তাদের শিক্ষা দিয়ো এবং সম্পত্তি হিসাবে যে দেশ তুমি তাদের দিয়েছ সেই দেশের উপর বৃষ্টি দিয়ো।
then hear in heaven, and forgive the sin of your servants, and of your people Israel, when you teach them the good way in which they should walk; and send rain on your land, which you have given to your people for an inheritance.
37 ৩৭ যদি দেশে দূর্ভিক্ষ কিম্বা মহামারী দেখা দেয়, যদি ফসল শুকিয়ে যাওয়া রোগ কিম্বা ছাতাপড়া রোগ হয়, যদি ফসলে শুঁয়াপোকা বা পঙ্গপাল লাগে, যদি শত্রু তাদের কোনো শহর ঘেরাও করে, যে কোনো রকম মহামারী কিম্বা রোগ দেখা দিক না কেন,
"If there is famine in the land, if there is pestilence, if there is blight, mildew, locust or caterpillar; if their enemy besieges them in the land of their gates; whatever plague, whatever sickness there is;
38 ৩৮ তখন যদি তোমার লোক ইস্রায়েলীয়দের কেউ অনুতপ্ত হয়ে মনের কষ্টে এই উপাসনা ঘরের দিকে হাত বাড়িয়ে কোনো প্রার্থনা বা অনুরোধ করে,
whatever prayer and petition is made by any man, or by all your people Israel, who shall each know the plague of his own heart, and spread forth his hands toward this house:
39 ৩৯ তবে তোমার বাসস্থান স্বর্গ থেকে তুমি তা শুনো। তুমি তাকে ক্ষমা কোরো ও সাড়া দিও; তার সব কাজ অনুসারে বিচার কোরো, কারণ তুমি তো তার হৃদয়ের অবস্থা জান, কেবল তুমিই সমস্ত মানুষের হৃদয় জান।
then hear in heaven, your dwelling place, and forgive, and do, and render to every man according to all his ways, whose heart you know; (for you, even you only, know the hearts of all the children of humankind; )
40 ৪০ তুমি এটাই কোরো যাতে আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের তুমি যে দেশ দিয়েছ সেখানে সারা জীবন তোমার লোকেরা তোমাকে ভয় করে চলে।
that they may fear you all the days that they live in the land which you gave to our fathers.
"Moreover concerning the foreigner, who is not of your people Israel, when he shall come out of a far country for your name's sake
42 ৪২ ও বাড়িয়ে দেওয়া হাতের কথা শুনে তোমার উপাসনার জন্য যখন দূর দেশ থেকে এসে এই উপাসনা ঘরের দিকে ফিরে প্রার্থনা করবে,
(for they shall hear of your great name, and of your mighty hand, and of your outstretched arm); when he shall come and pray toward this house;
43 ৪৩ তখন তোমার বাসস্থান স্বর্গ থেকে তুমি তা শুনো। সে যা চায় তার জন্য তা কোরো যেন পৃথিবীর সমস্ত লোক তোমাকে জানতে পারে এবং তোমার নিজের লোক ইস্রায়েলীয়দের মত তারাও তোমাকে ভয় করতে পারে আর জানতে পারে যে, আমার তৈরী এই ঘর তোমারই ঘর।
then hear in heaven, your dwelling place, and do according to all that the foreigner calls to you for; that all the peoples of the earth may know your name, and fear you, as do your people Israel, and that they may know that this house which I have built is called by your name.
44 ৪৪ তুমি যখন তোমার লোকদের তাদের শত্রুদের বিরুদ্ধে যুদ্ধ করতে পাঠাবে তখন তারা যেখানেই থাকুক না কেন সেখান থেকে যদি তোমার বেছে নেওয়া এই শহরের দিকে ও তোমার জন্য আমার তৈরী এই ঘরের দিকে ফিরে প্রার্থনা করে,
"If your people go out to battle against their enemy, by whatever way you shall send them, and they pray to YHWH toward the city which you have chosen, and toward the house which I have built for your name;
then hear in heaven their prayer and their petition, and maintain their cause.
46 ৪৬ তারা যখন তোমার বিরুদ্ধে পাপ করবে অবশ্য পাপ করে না এমন লোক নেই আর তুমি তাদের উপর অসন্তুষ্ট হয়ে শত্রুর হাতে তাদের তুলে দেবে ও শত্রুরা তাদের বন্দী করে কাছে বা দূরে তাদের নিজেদের দেশে নিয়ে যাবে,
If they sin against you (for there is no man who doesn't sin), and you are angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captive to the land of the enemy, far off or near;
47 ৪৭ তখন বন্দী হয়ে থাকা সেই দেশে যদি তারা মন ফেরায় এবং অনুতপ্ত হয়ে তোমাকে অনুরোধ করে বলে, ‘আমরা পাপ করেছি, অন্যায় করেছি এবং মন্দভাবে চলেছি,’ তবে তুমি তাদের প্রার্থনা শুনো।
yet if they shall repent in the land where they are carried captive, and repent and make petition to you in the land of those who carried them captive, saying, 'We have sinned, and have done perversely; we have dealt wickedly;'
48 ৪৮ ঐ দেশে যদি তারা মনে প্রাণে তোমার দিকে ফেরে এবং তাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের যে দেশ তুমি দিয়েছ সেই দেশের দিকে, তোমার বেছে নেওয়া শহরের দিকে, তোমার জন্য আমার তৈরী এই ঘরের দিকে ফিরে তোমার কাছে প্রার্থনা করে,
if they return to you with all their heart and with all their soul in the land of their enemies, who carried them captive, and pray to you toward their land, which you gave to their fathers, the city which you have chosen, and the house which I have built for your name:
49 ৪৯ তবে তুমি তোমার বাসস্থান স্বর্গ থেকে তাদের প্রার্থনা ও অনুরোধ শুনো এবং তাদের বিষয়ে সাহায্য কর।
then hear their prayer and their petition in heaven, your dwelling place, and maintain their cause;
50 ৫০ আর তোমার যে লোকেরা তোমার বিরুদ্ধে পাপ করেছে সেই লোকদের তুমি ক্ষমা কোরো এবং তোমার বিরুদ্ধে করা তাদের সমস্ত দোষও ক্ষমা করো। তাদের যারা বন্দী করে নিয়ে গেছে সেই লোকদের মন এমন করো যাতে তারা তাদের প্রতি দয়া করে;
and forgive your people who have sinned against you, and all their transgressions in which they have transgressed against you; and give them compassion before those who carried them captive, that they may have compassion on them
51 ৫১ কারণ ইস্রায়েলীয়েরা তো তোমারই লোক, তোমারই সম্পত্তি যাদের তুমি মিশর থেকে উদ্ধার করে এনেছ, লোহা গলানো চুল্লীর ভিতর থেকে বের করে এনেছ।
(for they are your people, and your inheritance, which you brought out of Egypt, from the midst of the iron furnace);
52 ৫২ তোমার দাসের ও তোমার লোক ইস্রায়েলীয়দের অনুরোধের প্রতি তুমি মনোযোগ দিয়ো, আর যখন তারা তোমাকে ডাকবে তখন তুমি তাদের কথা শুনো।
that your eyes and your ears may be open to the petition of your servant, and to the petition of your people Israel, to listen to them whenever they cry to you.
53 ৫৩ হে প্রভু সদাপ্রভু, আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের মিশর থেকে বের করে আনবার দিন তোমার দাস মোশির মধ্য দিয়ে তোমার ঘোষণা অনুসারে তোমার নিজের সম্পত্তি হবার জন্য জগতের সমস্ত জাতির মধ্য থেকে তুমি ইস্রায়েলীয়দের আলাদা করে নিয়েছ।”
For you separated them from among all the peoples of the earth, to be your inheritance, as you spoke by Moses your servant, when you brought our fathers out of Egypt, Lord YHWH."
54 ৫৪ সদাপ্রভুর কাছে এই সব প্রার্থনা ও মিনতি শেষ করবার পর শলোমন সদাপ্রভুর যজ্ঞবেদীর সামনে থেকে উঠলেন; এতক্ষণ তিনি হাঁটু পেতে স্বর্গের দিকে হাত বাড়িয়ে ছিলেন।
It was so, that when Solomon had made an end of praying all this prayer and petition to YHWH, he arose from before the altar of YHWH, from kneeling on his knees with his hands spread forth toward heaven.
He stood, and blessed all the assembly of Israel with a loud voice, saying,
56 ৫৬ “ধন্য সদাপ্রভু, যিনি তাঁর নিজের প্রতিজ্ঞা অনুসারে তাঁর লোক ইস্রায়েলীয়দের বিশ্রাম দিয়েছেন। তাঁর দাস মোশির মধ্য দিয়ে তিনি যে সব মঙ্গল করবার প্রতিজ্ঞা করেছিলেন তার একটা কথাও পতিত হয়নি।
"Blessed be YHWH, who has given rest to his people Israel, according to all that he promised. There has not failed one word of all his good promise, which he promised by Moses his servant.
57 ৫৭ আমাদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভু যেমন আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের সঙ্গে ছিলেন তেমনি তিনি আমাদের সঙ্গেও থাকুন। তিনি যেন কখনও আমাদের ছেড়ে না যান কিম্বা ছেড়ে না দেন।
May YHWH our God be with us, as he was with our fathers. Let him not leave us, nor forsake us;
58 ৫৮ আমরা তাঁর সব পথে চলবার জন্য এবং আমাদের পূর্বপুরুষদের কাছে তিনি যে সব আদেশ, নিয়ম ও নির্দেশ দিয়েছিলেন তা মেনে চলবার জন্য তিনি আমাদের হৃদয় তাঁর প্রতি বিশ্বস্ত রাখুন।
that he may incline our hearts to him, to walk in all his ways, and to keep his commandments, and his statutes, and his ordinances, which he commanded our fathers.
59 ৫৯ আমি যে সব কথা বলে সদাপ্রভুর কাছে প্রার্থনা করেছি তা দিন রাত আমাদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর সামনে থাকুক যাতে তিনি তাঁর নিজের দাসের ও তাঁর লোক ইস্রায়েলীয়দের প্রতিদিনের র প্রয়োজন অনুসারে ব্যবস্থা করেন।
Let these my words, with which I have made petition before YHWH, be near to YHWH our God day and night, that he may maintain the cause of his servant, and the cause of his people Israel, as every day shall require;
that all the peoples of the earth may know that YHWH, he is God. There is no other.
61 ৬১ অতএব আজকে যেমন সদাপ্রভুর নিয়ম ও আদেশ মেনে চলবার জন্য তোমাদের হৃদয় সম্পূর্ণভাবে আমাদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর দিকে আছে তেমনি সব দিন থাকুক।”
"Let your heart therefore be perfect with YHWH our God, to walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments, as at this day."
The king, and all Israel with him, offered sacrifice before YHWH.
63 ৬৩ সদাপ্রভুর জন্য শলোমন বাইশ হাজার গরু ও এক লক্ষ কুড়ি হাজার ভেড়া দিয়ে মঙ্গলার্থক বলিদান করলেন। এই ভাবে রাজা ও সমস্ত ইস্রায়েলীয় সদাপ্রভুর ঘর প্রতিষ্ঠা করলেন।
Solomon offered for the sacrifice of peace offerings, which he offered to YHWH, two and twenty thousand head of cattle, and one hundred twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the children of Israel dedicated the house of YHWH.
64 ৬৪ সেই একই দিনের রাজা সদাপ্রভুর ঘরের সামনের উঠানের মাঝখানের অংশ সদাপ্রভুর উদ্দেশ্যে আলাদা করলেন। সেখানে তিনি হোমবলি ও শস্য উৎসর্গের বলিদান দিলেন এবং মঙ্গলার্থক বলির চর্বি উৎসর্গ করলেন, কারণ সদাপ্রভুর সামনে থাকা পিতলের বেদীটা এই সব উৎসর্গের অনুষ্ঠান করবার জন্য ছোট ছিল।
The same day the king made the middle of the court holy that was before the house of YHWH; for there he offered the burnt offering, and the meal offering, and the fat of the peace offerings, because the bronze altar that was before YHWH was too little to receive the burnt offering, and the meal offering, and the fat of the peace offerings.
65 ৬৫ এই ভাবে শলোমন ও তাঁর সঙ্গে সমস্ত ইস্রায়েলীয়েরা সেই দিন আমাদের ঈশ্বর সদাপ্রভুর সামনে সাত দিন ও আরও সাত দিন, মোট চৌদ্দ দিন ধরে একটা উৎসব করলেন। তারা ছিল এক বিরাট জনসংখ্যা; তারা হমাতের শহরে ঢোকার জায়গা থেকে মিশরের ছোট নদী পর্যন্ত সমস্ত এলাকা থেকে এসে যোগ দিয়েছিল।
So Solomon held the feast at that time, and all Israel with him, a great assembly, from Lebo Hamath to the Wadi of Egypt, before YHWH our God in the house which he built, eating and drinking and rejoicing before YHWH our God seven days and seven days; fourteen days.
66 ৬৬ অষ্টম দিনের তিনি লোকদের বিদায় দিলেন। সদাপ্রভু তাঁর দাস দায়ূদ ও তাঁর লোক ইস্রায়েলীয়দের প্রতি যে সব মঙ্গল করেছেন তার জন্য আনন্দিত ও খুশী হয়ে লোকেরা রাজাকে ধন্যবাদ দিয়ে নিজের নিজের বাড়ি চলে গেল।
And on the eighth day he sent the people away; and they blessed the king, and went to their tents joyful and glad of heart for all the goodness that YHWH had shown to David his servant, and to Israel his people.
