1 Na Bolo, na da Gode Ea hawa: hamosu dunu amola Yesu Gelesu Ea asunasi dunu esala. Gode ilegei fi ilia dafawaneyale dawa: su hou fidima: ne amola dafawane hou amo da ninia olelesu bai gala amoma hiougimusa: , Gode da na ilegei.
Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of the elect of God and the acknowledging of the truth, which is according to godliness:

5 Di da hawa: eno hame hamoi, amo hamomusa: gini amola diasu huluane amo ganodini Yesu Ea fa: no bobogesu fi asigilai dunu ilegemusa: , na da di Galidi ogaga esaloma: ne yolesi. Na hamoma: ne sia: i liligi mae gogolema!
For this cause I left thee in Crete, that thou shouldest set in order the things that are wanting, and shouldest ordain priests in every city, as I also appointed thee:

If any be without crime, the husband of one wife, having faithful children, not accused of riot, or unruly.
7 Yesu Ea fa: no bobogesu fi asigilai da Gode Ea hawa: hamosu ouligisa. Amaiba: le, wadela: i hou hamedafa hamosu dunu fawane ilegema! Yesu Ea fa: no bobogesu fi asigilai dunu da nimi bagade amola hedolo ougi hou hamedafa dawa: mu. E da feloamusa: adini nasu amola muni hanasu hou hamedafa dawa: beba: le fawane ilegema!
For a bishop must be without crime, as the steward of God: not proud, not subject to anger, not given to wine, no striker, not greedy of filthy lucre:
8 E da aowasu hou amola hou ida: iwane hamomusa: bagadewane hanai da defea. E da ea hou amoma ouligisuwane esalumu da defea. E da moloidafa amola hadigidafa hou hamomu da defea.
But given to hospitality, gentle, sober, just, holy, continent:
9 E da Gode Ea sia: moloidafa sia: amo gasa bagadewane lalegaguli, hamedafa yolesimu da defea. Amai galea, e da sia: dafa olelesea eno dunu ilia dogo denesimu. Amola eno dunu ilia ogogolewane olelesea, e da ili logo hedofamusa: defele esalebe ba: mu. Agoai dunu fawane ilegema!
Embracing that faithful word which is according to doctrine, that he may be able to exhort in sound doctrine, and to convince the gainsayers.
10 Bai dunu bagohame amo da Yu hou yolesili, Yesu Ea hou lalegagui, amo bagohame ilia odoga: le, gagaoui sia: olelebeba: le, eno Gode Ea fi dunuma ogogosa.
For there are also many disobedient, vain talkers, and seducers: especially they who are of the circumcision:

Who must be reproved, who subvert whole houses, teaching things which they ought not, for filthy lucre’s sake.

This testimony is true. Wherefore rebuke them sharply, that they may be sound in the faith;
14 Ili da Yu ogogosu sia: amola osobo bagade Godema higa: i dunu ilia sema hamoi, amo huluane yolesima: ne, dia ilima ha: giwane gagabole sia: ma.
Not giving heed to Jewish fables and commandments of men, who turn themselves away from the truth.
15 Nowa dunu da ledo hamedei gala, amo da liligi huluane ledo hame liligi ba: sa. Be ledo gala amola dafawaneyale hame dawa: su dunu, da liligi huluane ledo hamoi dagoi ba: sa. Bai ilia asigi dawa: su da wadela: lesi dagoiba: le, agoane gala.
All things are clean to the clean: but to them that are defiled, and to unbelievers, nothing is clean: but both their mind and their conscience are defiled.
16 Amo dunu ilia da Gode dawa: , ilisu sia: sa. Be wadela: i hou hamobeba: le, ilia Gode hame dawa: , amo ninia ba: sa. Ilia da noga: i hou higasa amola hame nabasu hou hamonana. Ilia hou ida: iwane hamomu defele hame ba: sa.
They profess that they know God: but in their works they deny him; being abominable, and incredulous, and to every good work reprobate.
