1 Boua: se e sia: sa: imusa: gilisibi sogebi amoga asili amola logo gadenene amogai esalu. Amogai esaloba amola Ilimelege ea gadenene fi dunu (bu bidi lasu fi dunu ilia da sia: su - da: i sia: da ‘kinsman-redeemer) amo mafiadalebe ba: i. Amola Boua: se ea e wele sia: i, “Na na: iyado! Di fila misa. Na da sia: fonobahadi sia: mu gala.” Amalalu, e da misini fi.
Then went Boaz up to the gate, and sat him down there: and, behold, the kinsman of whom Boaz spake came by; unto whom he said, Ho, such a one! turn aside, sit down here. And he turned aside, and sat down.
2 Amanoba, Boua: se e bu bidi lasu dunu amo e da musa: sia: i ema amane sia: i, “Di gui fila misa.” Amanoba, e da misini bulagi.
And he took ten men of the elders of the city, and said, Sit ye down here. And they sat down.
3 Amalalu, Boua: se da moilai ouligisu dunu nabuane lale, Ilimelege ea bu bidi lasu fi dunu ema amane sia: i, “Na: ioumi da waha Moua: be soge yolesili, misi dagoi. E da ania sosogo fi dunu Ilimelege amo ea soge bidi lamu hanai galebe.
And he said unto the kinsman, Naomi, that is come again out of the country of Moab, selleth a parcel of land, which [was] our brother Elimelech’s:
4 Amaiba: le, na dima sia: be goea, be di hanai galea, goe soge di lama. Fada: i dunu nabuane agoane ilia dia sia: nabima: ne sia: ma. Be higa: i galea amo higa: i fawane sia: ma. Bai di da hanai galea, di da lamu defele gala. Be dia higasea, na da lamu defele gala.” Ilimelege ea bu bidi lasu fi dunu e da amane sia: i, “Na da lamu!”
And I thought to advertise thee, saying, Buy [it] before the inhabitants, and before the elders of my people. If thou wilt redeem [it], redeem [it: ] but if thou wilt not redeem [it, then] tell me, that I may know: for [there is] none to redeem [it] beside thee; and I [am] after thee. And he said, I will redeem [it].
5 Boua: se e amane sia: i;, “Defeadafa! Be dia Na: ioumi ea soge lasea, di da Ludi (Moua: be uda didalo) amola bidiga lasa. Amasea, amo soge da bogoi ea sosogo fi amo ganodini dialumu.
Then said Boaz, What day thou buyest the field of the hand of Naomi, thou must buy [it] also of Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance.
6 Amanoba, bu bidi lasu fi dunu da amane sia: i, “Amai galea, na amola soge agoe bidiga lamu, be amo da agoane, na mano ilia soge hame galumu. Amaiba: le dia lama. Be Na da bu hame lamu.”
And the kinsman said, I cannot redeem [it] for myself, lest I mar mine own inheritance: redeem thou my right to thyself; for I cannot redeem [it].
7 Amo esoha ilia da hou agoane hamosu. Isala: ili ilia sia: sa: imusa: o bu afadenemusa: ilia amola da hou agoane hamosu. Dunu afae da ea emo salasu gisa: le, dunu eno igili iasu. Amo hou da Isala: ili fi dunu ilia hou. Ilia da bidi lasu hou ilegema: ne agoane hamosu.
Now this [was the manner] in former time in Israel concerning redeeming and concerning changing, for to confirm all things; a man plucked off his shoe, and gave [it] to his neighbour: and this [was] a testimony in Israel.
8 Amabeba: le, amola Ilimilege ea bu bidi lasu fi dunu da Boua: se ema amane sia: i, “Di bidiga lama!” E da ea emo salasu gisa: le amola Boua: sema i.
Therefore the kinsman said unto Boaz, Buy [it] for thee. So he drew off his shoe.
9 Amalalu, Boua: se e dunu fada: i ilima amola oda esalebe dunu ilima amane adoi, “Dilia huluane ba: ma! Amola waha da na Na: ioumi ea soge amo Ilimelege amola ea mano Gilione amola Malone ilia soge, amo na bidiga lai dagoi.
And Boaz said unto the elders, and [unto] all the people, Ye [are] witnesses this day, that I have bought all that [was] Elimelech’s, and all that [was] Chilion’s and Mahlon’s, of the hand of Naomi.
10 Amola na da sia: fonobahadi sia: mu gala. Na agoane dawa: Ludi e da na uda esalumu da defea. Ludi amo uda da Moua: be dunu fi amola Malone ea lai galu, be Malone e bogobeba: le yolesi. Na da Ludi lamu hanai galebe, amola Malone ea sosogo fi da ea soge gaguiwane dialumu. Amola egaga fi da ea fidafa amola ea moilaidafa amo ganodini fifi lamu. Amola amo hou hahamoi amo dili huluane ba: i ama.
Moreover Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon, have I purchased to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance, that the name of the dead be not cut off from among his brethren, and from the gate of his place: ye [are] witnesses this day.
11 Dunu huluane ilia amane sia: i, “Defea! And all the people that [were] in the gate, and the elders, said, [We are] witnesses. The LORD make the woman that is come into thine house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel: and do thou worthily in Ephratah, and be famous in Beth-lehem:
12 Amola dia sosogo fi da bagadewane heda: mu da defea. Di da amo a: fini didalo lasea, Hina Gode da alima mano bagohame imunu da defea. Amasea, dia sosogo fi da Yuda amola Da: ima elea mano Bilese amo ea sosogo fi hamoi amo defele ba: mu.
And let thy house be like the house of Pharez, whom Tamar bare unto Judah, of the seed which the LORD shall give thee of this young woman.
13 Amanoba Boua: se ea Ludi lale, ea diasuga oule asi. Be Hina Gode da ema hahawane dogolegele amola asigili hamobeba: le, e abula agui ba: i amola dunu mano lalelegei.
So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, the LORD gave her conception, and she bare a son.
14 Uda ilia da misini, Na: ioumima amane sia: i, “Hahawane Hina Godema nodoma! E da waha dia aowa lalelegei amo da di ouligima: ne. Amola amo mano da Isala: ili fi amo ganodini gasa bagade esaluma: mu.
And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed [be] the LORD, which hath not left thee this day without a kinsman, that his name may be famous in Israel.
15 Disoa: ea amola da dima asigisa amola ea dima fidisu hou da dunu mano fesuale gala ilia fidisu hou baligi dagoi. Amola e da wali dima aowa i dagoi. Amo da dia da: i hamobe amo ganodini e da di noga: le ouligimu.”
And he shall be unto thee a restorer of [thy] life, and a nourisher of thine old age: for thy daughter in law, which loveth thee, which is better to thee than seven sons, hath born him.
16 Na: ioumi ea mano amo seba: le, amola noga: le fofoi.
And Naomi took the child, and laid it in her bosom, and became nurse unto it.
17 Amola uda gadenene fi misini, mano ea dio Oubede asuli. Ilia dunu huluane ilima adoi, “Na: ioumi e da dunu mano lalelegei dagoi!” Amola Oubede da asigilale amola mano ea dio amo Yesi lai. Yesi da Da: ibidi lalelegei.
And the women her neighbours gave it a name, saying, There is a son born to Naomi; and they called his name Obed: he [is] the father of Jesse, the father of David.

Now these [are] the generations of Pharez: Pharez begat Hezron,
And Hezron begat Ram, and Ram begat Amminadab,
And Amminadab begat Nahshon, and Nahshon begat Salmon,
And Salmon begat Boaz, and Boaz begat Obed,
And Obed begat Jesse, and Jesse begat David.
