1 Fifilai helele amola Na: ioumi ea Ludima amane sia: i, “Na da di gawa fima: ne hogomu galebe, be amo da di diasu ganoma: ne.
Then Naomi her mother in law said unto her, My daughter, shall I not seek rest for thee, that it may be well with thee?
2 Dawa: ma goe dunu Boua: se, amo ea fi uda di bisili hawa: hamonanu amo da ania sosogo fi. Waha di nabima! Wali daeya ea amola bali gadofo fane sosogamu.
And now [is] not Boaz of our kindred, with whose maidens thou wast? Behold, he winnoweth barley to night in the threshingfloor.
3 Amaiba: le, di da hano ulima. Amola dia abula noga: idafa salima. Amalu bali amola sosoga: ba amoga masa, be ahoasea dia da: i wamolegema. E da ha: i mai dagosea fawane, di ba: mu da defea.
Wash thyself therefore, and anoint thee, and put thy raiment upon thee, and get thee down to the floor: [but] make not thyself known unto the man, until he shall have done eating and drinking.
4 Be e dia ahoasea, defea di dawa: ma, e habi golabeyale, amola e sima midi galea, asili amola e dedeboi amo houga: le, ea emo gadenene diasa: ima. Ea da dima adole imunu, adi hamoma: ne.”
And it shall be, when he lieth down, that thou shalt mark the place where he shall lie, and thou shalt go in, and uncover his feet, and lay thee down; and he will tell thee what thou shalt do.
5 Ludi da bu adole i, “Dia adi sia: sea, na da huluane hamomu.”
And she said unto her, All that thou sayest unto me I will do.
6 Amanoba, Ludi e bali gadofo sosoga: ba asili, esoa: ame ea ema sia: i amo defele hamoi.
And she went down unto the floor, and did according to all that her mother in law bade her.
7 Be Boua: se e ha: i amola hano nanu ba: loba, e hahawane ba: i. E da bali dabole ligisila asili gola midi. Ludi e da gebewane misini abula ea emoga sosoi amo houga: le, ea emo osa: suha golai.
And when Boaz had eaten and drunk, and his heart was merry, he went to lie down at the end of the heap of corn: and she came softly, and uncovered his feet, and laid her down.
8 Be gasia Boua: se da fofogadigili wa: legadole amola delegili ba: loba, uda a: fini ea emo gadenene. dia misi dialebe ba: i.
And it came to pass at midnight, that the man was afraid, and turned himself: and, behold, a woman lay at his feet.
9 “Di nowala: ?” e amane adole ba: i. Ludi da bu adole i, “Amo da na, Ludi, dia hawa: hamosu a: fini. Dia abula fe bidiga amo na da: i dedeboma. Bai di da dia fi gaga: su dunu galebe. Amola dafawane dia na lama.”
And he said, Who [art] thou? And she answered, I [am] Ruth thine handmaid: spread therefore thy skirt over thine handmaid; for thou [art] a near kinsman.
10 Boua: se da amane sia: i, “Hina Gode da di hahawane dogolegele fidimu da defea. Hou waha dia hamoi amo da dia musa: disoa: ema hamoi baligi dagoi. Di da goi ayeligi gasa bagade gagui o hame gagui esala, amo hogomu logo gala, be di da hame hogoi.
And he said, Blessed [be] thou of the LORD, my daughter: [for] thou hast shewed more kindness in the latter end than at the beginning, inasmuch as thou followedst not young men, whether poor or rich.
11 Dunu fi huluane di dawa: , di da uda defeadafa. Amaiba: le mae beda: ma! Amo na dia adi liligi nama adi adole ba: sea na digili imunu.
And now, my daughter, fear not; I will do to thee all that thou requirest: for all the city of my people doth know that thou [art] a virtuous woman.
12 Dia dafawane sia: sa, na da dia sosogo fi afadafa amola na di ouligimu. Be dunu afadafa amo da Ilimelege ea liligi lamusa: sosogo fi amoga gala.
And now it is true that I [am thy] near kinsman: howbeit there is a kinsman nearer than I.
13 Waha di gui esaloma, amola aya hahabe na asili amo dunu ea hanai hou amo ba: la masunu. Be e di ouligimu sia: sea, defea! Be ea di higasea, na di ba: la misunu. Na sia: goe da dafawane. Hina Gode Bagade E da dawa: Amola waha da di golale, hadigimu.”
Tarry this night, and it shall be in the morning, [that] if he will perform unto thee the part of a kinsman, well; let him do the kinsman’s part: but if he will not do the part of a kinsman to thee, then will I do the part of a kinsman to thee, [as] the LORD liveth: lie down until the morning.
14 Amanoba, Ludi e Boua: se ea emo gadenene golai. Hame hadigia, Ludi wa: legadole asi amo dunu ilia hame ba: i. Bai Boua: se da Ludi da gasia ea emo gadenene golai dialu, dunu eno dawa: mu e higa: i galu.
And she lay at his feet until the morning: and she rose up before one could know another. And he said, Let it not be known that a woman came into the floor.
15 Amanoba, Boua: se e Ludi ema amane adoi, “Dia abula lale fa: si, fadegale gama.” Amabeba: le, ea abula amo fa: si, amola Boua: se ea bali amo abula da: iya gugudili ligisi. Amola ea dioi defei amo 20 gilogala: me agoane galu. Amanoba, Boua: se ea Ludi e fidili ea gida da: iya gisasi. Amalu Ludi da ea moilaiga buhagi.
Also he said, Bring the vail that [thou hast] upon thee, and hold it. And when she held it, he measured six [measures] of barley, and laid [it] on her: and she went into the city.
16 E diasuga doaga: loba, esoa: eme da ema naba ba: i, “Nadiwi! Dia da habodane hamobela: ?” Ludi e da Boua: se ea ema fidi hou amo olelei.
And when she came to her mother in law, she said, Who [art] thou, my daughter? And she told her all that the man had done to her.
17 E bu sia: i, “Ea amola nama amane sia: i, na da udigili dima bu masunu da hame galebe. Amanoba, e da amo bali ha: i manu nama i.”
And she said, These six [measures] of barley gave he me; for he said to me, Go not empty unto thy mother in law.
18 Na: ioumi da ema amane sia: i, “Di waha ouligima, Ludi! Goe hahamobe ba: ma. Boua: se e da hamedafa yolemu sia: i. E da amo hou huluane hahamone dagomu.”
Then said she, Sit still, my daughter, until thou know how the matter will fall: for the man will not be in rest, until he have finished the thing this day.
