1 Hina Gode Baligili Gadodafa, Dima nodone sia: mu amola Dima nodone gesami hea: mu da defeadafa.
Yahweh, it is good for people to thank you and to sing to praise you [MTY] who are greater than any other god.
2 Dia mae fisili asigidafa amo eso huluane hahabe sia: nanumu da defea, amola Dia didili hamosu hou amo gasia huluane sia: nanumu da defea.
It is good to proclaim every morning that you faithfully love us, and each night [to sing songs that] declare that you always do what you have promised to do,
3 Sani baidama amola baidamadafa, amoga dusa, Dima nodonanumu da defea.
accompanied by [musicians playing] harps that have ten strings, and by the sounds made by a lyre.
4 Hina Gode, Dia baligili bagadedafa hamobe hou amoga na da nodosa, amola Dia hahamoi liligi amo ba: beba: le, na da nodone gesami hea: sa.
Yahweh, you have caused me to be glad; I sing joyfully because of what you [SYN] have done.
5 Hina Gode, Dia hahamobe liligi da bagadedafa! Dia dawa: su da oso dogoidafa gala!
Yahweh, the things that you do are great! But it is difficult for us to understand [all] that you think.
6 Goe hou da gagaoui dunu, amo ea da dawa: mu gogolei,
There are things [that you do] that foolish people cannot know about, things that stupid people cannot understand.
7 Wadela: i hamosu dunu da wadela: i gisi agoane heda: mu, amola giadofale hamosu dunu ilia da liligi bagade gagui dialebe ba: mu, be amomane ilia da bagadedafa gugunufinisi ba: mu.
They do not understand that although the number of wicked [people] increases [like blades of] grass do [SIM], and they prosper, they will be completely destroyed.
8 Bai Hina Gode da Gadodafa amola Fifi Ahoanusudafa.
But Yahweh, you [will] exalted/be honored/rule) forever.
9 Ninia dawa: , Dima ha lai dunu ilia da bogogia: mu, amola wadela: i hou hamosu dunu da hasalasi dagoi ba: mu.
Yahweh, your enemies will [certainly] die, and those who do wicked things will be defeated/scattered.
10 Di da bulamagau sigua amo ea gasa defele nama gasa i, amola Di da hahawane dogolegele hou nama hamoiba: le, na da hahawane bagade.
But you have caused me to be as strong [MTY] as [SIM] a wild ox; you have caused me to be very joyful [MTY].
11 Na da nama ha lai ilima hasalasibi amo ba: i amola wadela: i hou hamosu dunu ilia didigia: be amo nabi.
I [SYN] have seen you defeat my enemies; d I have heard those evil men wail/scream while they were being slaughtered.
12 Molole hamosu dunu ilia da gumudi dulu waha faselale salabe agoai ba: mu. Ilia da Lebanone soge ganodini dolo ifa heda: be agoai ba: mu.
But righteous [people] will prosper like [SIM] palm trees that grow well, or like [SIM] cedar [trees] that grow in Lebanon.
13 Ilia da ninia Hina Gode Ea Debolo diasu ganodini bugi ifaga osomo falegabe agoai, amo da yalo idalo hamone, gebewane lubi dialuli fage legelalebe, gasa bagade ifa agoai ba: mu.
[They are like the trees] that grow near the temple of Yahweh [in Jerusalem], those trees that are close to the courtyard of the temple of our God.
[Even] when righteous people become old, they do many things [IDM] [that please God]. They remain strong and full of energy, [like trees that] [MET] remain full of sap.
15 Amoga ninia ba: sea da Hina Gode da moloidafa olelesa. E da na Gaga: su gala. Amola Ea hou amo ganodini, giadofale hamobe hamedafa ba: sa.
That shows that Yahweh is just; he is [like a huge] rock [under which I am safe/protected], and he never does anything that is wicked/wrong.
