I am forsaken among the dead, like the slain who lie in the grave, whom You remember no more, who are cut off from Your care.
6 Di da bogoi salasu uli dogoi gududafa amoga na sanasi dagoi. Amo gelabo da gasi dunasi amola sedadedafa.
You have laid me in the lowest Pit, in the darkest of the depths.

Your wrath weighs heavily upon me; all Your waves have submerged me.

Can Your loving devotion be proclaimed in the grave, Your faithfulness in Abaddon?

Will Your wonders be known in the darkness, or Your righteousness in the land of oblivion?
13 Hina Gode, na da Dia na fidima: ne Dima wele sia: sa. Eso huluane hahabe na da Dima sia: ne gadosa.
But to You, O LORD, I cry for help; in the morning my prayer comes before You.
14 Hina Gode, abuliba: le Di da nama higale ba: sala: ? Abuliba: le Di da nama baligi fa: sala?
Why, O LORD, do You reject me? Why do You hide Your face from me?
15 Na da goifonoboga ganiniwane se nabasu amola na da bogomu gadenenewane esalusu. Na da Dia dawa: ma: ne se bidi iasu dioi bagadeba: le, amoga sesele gasa hame galebe.
From my youth I was afflicted and near death. I have borne Your terrors; I am in despair.
16 Dia ougi hou bagadedafa amoga na da banenesi dagoi. Dia gasa fili doagala: su amoga na da gugunufinisi dogoi.
Your wrath has swept over me; Your terrors have destroyed me.
17 Eso huluane ilia da na sisiga: le aliligibi amo ba: sea, da hano hihi heda: i agoai ba: sa, ilia da na beba: le huluane eale disisa.
All day long they engulf me like water; they enclose me on every side.
18 Di da na dogolegeidafa ani sasamogene nabe dunu amo na fisiagama: ne hamoi, amola gasi fawane da na sama agoai gala.
You have removed my beloved and my friend; darkness is my closest companion.
