< Gesami Hea:su 83 >
1 Gode, Di ouiya: le mae dialoma! Di hamedigili mae dialoma! Mae ouiya: ma!
“A song or psalm of Assaph.” O God, take no rest for thyself: be not silent and keep not still, O God!
For, lo, thy enemies make a tumult, and they that hate thee have lifted up their head.
Against thy people they take crafty secret device, and they consult against those whom thou protectest.
They have said, Come, and let us cut them off from being a nation; and the name of Israel shall be remembered no more.
5 Ilia da ilia hamomusa: ilegei amo hamomusa: sia: nu amola Dima didili hamomusa: , eno dunuma gilisisa.
For they have consulted cordially together; against thee they make a covenant:
6 Idome fi dunu amola Isiama: iele fi dunu, Moua: be fi dunu amola Ha: galaide fi,
The tents of Edom, and the Ishmaelites: Moab, and the Hagarenes;
7 Giba: le, A:mone amola A: malege fi dunu, amola Filisidini amola Daia fi dunu.
Gebal, and 'Ammon, and 'Amalek; the Philistines with the inhabitants of Tyre;
8 Asilia fi amolawane da ilima madelale amola gasa bagade fili, A:moulaide amola Moua: be (Lode egaga fi) ilima gilisisa.
Also Asshur is joined with them; they have become an arm unto the children of Lot. (Selah)
9 Di da Midia: ne fi amola Sisela amola Ya: bini ilima Gisione Hanoga hamoi, amo defele ilima hamoma.
Do unto them as [unto] Midian; as to Sissera, as to Jabin, at the brook Kishon:
Who were annihilated at 'En-dor; they became as dung for the ground.
Render them, their nobles, like 'Oreb, and like Zeeb; yea, like Zebach and like Zalmunna' all their princes;
Who said, Let us conquer for ourselves the dwellings of God,
13 Gode! Gulu defele ili dudulisima! Widi gisi bioi defele foga mini masa: ma.
O my God, render them like the thistle-down, like stubble before the wind.
As the fire burneth up a forest, and as the flame setteth the mountains on fire:
15 Amo defele, wadela: i hou hamosu dunu Dia gasa bagade mulu amoga sefasima! Amola Dia gasa bagade fo amoga ili beda: ma: ma.
So pursue them with thy storm, and with thy whirlwind do thou terrify them.
16 Hina Gode! Ilia odagi amo gogosiasuga dedebosima, amola Dia gasa bagade hou amo dawa: digima: ma.
Fill their faces with shame, that they may seek thy name, O Lord!
Let them be made ashamed and terrified for ever and aye; yea, let them be put to the blush and perish:
That they may know that thou, whose name is the Eternal, art by thyself alone, the Most High over all the earth.
