A Melody of Asaph. O God, nations, Have entered thine inheritance, Have profaned thy holy temple, —Have laid Jerusalem in heaps:
2 Ilia Dia fi dunu ilia bogoi da: i hodo amo sia sioga moma: ne, yolesi. Amola Dia hawa: hamosu dunu ilia bogoi da: i hodo amo sigua ohe fi ilia moma: ne, yolesi.
They have given, The dead bodies of thy servants, As food for the birds of the heavens, The flesh of thy men of lovingkindness, Unto the wild beast of the earth:
3 Ilia Dia dunu ilia maga: me amo hano agoane soga: digima: ne hamosu, amola maga: me da hano agoane Yelusaleme ganodini aiasi. Amalalu dunu afae da amo bogogia: i dunu uli dogonesisimu hamedafa ba: i.
They have poured out their blood like water, Round about Jerusalem, With none to bury.
4 Nini beba: le fifi lai ilia da ninima gadele sia: daha, amola ilia da niniba: le oufesega: sa, amola ninima higale ba: sa.
We have become, A reproach to our neighbours, —A mockery and a derision, to them who are round about us.
5 Hina Gode, Di da ninima mae yolele gebewane ougi dialoma: bela: ? Dia ougi hou amo da lalu agoane mae yolele nenanoma: bela: ?
How long, O Yahweh, wilt thou be angry utterly? Shall thy jealousy, burn like fire?
6 Di da delegili gale, Dia ougi hou amo fifi asi gala Dima hame nodone sia: be amola Dima hame sia: ne gadobe dunu, amo ilima ima.
Pour out thy wrath, Upon the nations that have not known thee—and, Upon the kingdoms that, on thy Name, have not called.
7 Bai ilia da Dia fi dunu fane lelegei amola ilia da Dia soge amo wadela: le gugunufinisi dagoi.
For he hath devoured Jacob, —And, his dwelling-place, have they laid waste.
8 Ninia aowalali ilia wadela: i hou hamoi amoga ninima se dabe mae ima. Ninima waha asigima. Ninia dafawane hamoma: beyale dawa: su da fisi dagoi.
Do not remember against us former iniquities, —Haste thee, let thy compassions, come to meet us, For we have been brought very low!
9 Gode! Nini fidima, amola nini gaga: ma. Dunu da Dima nodone dawa: ma: ne, ninia wadela: i hou hamoi amo Dia gogolema: ne olofoma.
Help us, O God of our salvation, on account of the glory of thy Name, —Rescue us then, and put a propitiatory-covering over our sins, For the sake of thy Name.
10 Abuliba: le fifi asi gala da ninima agoane adole ba: ma: bela: ? “Dilia Gode da habila: ?” Fifi asi gala dunu ilia da Dia hawa: hamosu dunu fane legeiba: le, ninia ba: ma: ne, Dia ilima se dabe ima.
Wherefore should the nations say—Where is their God? Let him be known among the nations before our eyes! [Yea! By] the avenging of the blood of thy servants which hath been shed!
11 Se iasu diasu sali dunu ilia gayasu amo nabima! Ilia da se imunusa: fofada: i dagoi. Be Dia gasa bagade hou amoga ilia se iasu diasu logo doasima.
Let the groaning of the prisoner, come in before thee, —According to the greatness of thine arm, Set free them who are appointed to death.
12 Hina Gode! Fifi asi gala eno da Dima bagadewane gadele sia: su. Di ilima fesuale agoane se dabe ima.
Return, therefore, unto our neighbours—Sevenfold, into their own bosom, The reproach wherewith they have reproached thee, O Adonay!
13 Amasea, Dia fi dunu, (ninia da dia sibi wa: i fi) da Dima mae yolele fa: no misunu eso huluane amoga nodonanumu.
So, we, thy people, and the sheep of thy pasture, will give thanks unto thee, to times age-abiding, —To generation after generation, will we recount thy praise.
