1 Gode! Nama asigiba: le, fidima! Bai nama ha lai dunu da nama doagala: sa. Ilia da eso huluane, nama se iaha.
God, be merciful to me because men have harassed me; all day my enemies pursue me.
2 Hahabe asili daeya mae fisili, ilia da nama doagala: sa. Nama gegebe dunu da bagohamedafa.
My enemies harass me all day long; there are many of them who proudly attack me.
3 Hina Gode Bagadedafa! Na da beda: i galea, na da Dima dafawaneyale dawa: mu.
But whenever I am afraid, I trust in you.
4 Na da Godema dafawaneyale dawa: beba: le, hame beda: sa. Na da Ea hamomusa: ilegei amo ba: beba: le, Ema nodosa. Be osobo bagade dunu da na wadela: lesimu hame dawa:
God, I praise/thank you because you do what you have promised; I trust in you, and then I am not afraid. Ordinary humans certainly cannot [RHQ] harm me!
5 Nama ha lai dunu da hahabe asili daeya amo na se nabima: ne, bidi hamosu hamonana. Ilia da esoha huluane mae fisili, na se nabima: ne ilegelala.
All day long my enemies claim that I said things that I did not say (OR, try to destroy what I am doing); they are always thinking of ways to harm me.
6 Ilia da wamoaligisu sogebi amo ganodini gilisili, na hamobe huluane ba: lala. Ilia da na medole legemu hanai.
In order to cause trouble for me, they hide and watch everything that I do, waiting for [an opportunity] to kill me [MTY].
7 Gode! Ilia wadela: i hou hamobeba: le, ilima se dabe ima. Dia amo dunuma ougili hasalima.
So, God, punish them for the wicked things that they are doing; show that you are angry by defeating those people!
8 Na se nabasu huluane, amo Di dawa: Di da na disa si hano amo idili dedena sa: i diala. Amo da Dia buga ganodini dedei diala.
You have counted [all] the times that I have been wandering alone/distressed; [it is as though] you have put [all] my tears in a bottle [in order that you can see how much I have cried]. [You have counted my tears and written] the number in your book.
9 Esoha amoga na da Dima wele sia: sea, nama ha lai dunu da sinidigili, sefasi dagoi ba: mu. Amo na dawa: Bai Gode da namagai gala.
When I call out to you, [my] God, my enemies will be defeated; I know that will happen, because you are fighting for me.
10 E da Hina Godedafa amola na da Ea sia: i ilegei amoma nodosa.
I praise/thank you that you do what you have promised; Yahweh, I [will always] praise you for that [DOU].
11 Na da Ema dafawaneyale dawa: sa. Amaiba: le, na da hame beda: mu! Amola osobo bagade dunu da na wadela: lesimu hamedeidafa.
I trust in you, and as a result, I will not be afraid. I know that humans cannot really [RHQ] harm me!
12 Gode! Na da Dima imunusa: ilegei liligi amo Dima dafawane imunu. Na da Dia nodoma: ne gobele salasu amo Dima imunu.
I will bring to you the offering that I promised; I will bring an offering to you to thank you,
13 Bai Dia da na mae bogoma: ne, na gaga: i dagoi. Amola nama ha lai ilia na mae hasalima: ne hamoi. Amaiba: le na da Gode Ea midadi, hadigi amo da esalebe dunuma diga: be, amo ganodini lala.
because you have rescued me from being killed; you have kept me from stumbling. As a result, I will continue to live in your presence in the light that [shines on those who are still] alive (OR, in the light that [enables people to] live).
