1 Gode! Dia na gaga: ma! Dia da na ouligisa amo na dafawaneyale dawa: be.
A michtam of David. Keep me, O God, for in you I take refuge.
2 Na da Hina Godema amane sia: sa, “Di da na Hina Gode. Na liligi noga: i huluane na gagusa, amo Di fawane da nama iaha.”
I said to the Lord, “You are my Lord, my happiness rests in you alone.
3 Hina Gode Ea dafawaneyale dawa: su dunu da ida: iwane dunu fi. Na da ilima gilisisia, hahawane baligili ba: sa.
Those who are holy in the land, they, they alone, are the noble ones; all my delight is in them.”
4 Nowa dunu da Godedafa fisili, eno ogogosu ‘gode’ ilima fa: no bobogebe da se nabasu bagade ba: sa. Na da ilia gobele salasu hou amoga hame gilisimu. Na da ilia ‘gode’ liligi ilima hame nodone sia: ne gadomu.
Those who choose other gods find endless sorrow. In their offerings of blood I will have no part nor take their name on my lips.
5 Hina Gode! Di fawane da na Gode. Di da na dawa: i liligi huluane nama iaha. Hou da hobea nama doaga: mu, amo Di fawane ouligisa.
The Lord is my share and my portion, my fate is in your strong hands.
6 Dia udigili nagili iasu liligi da noga: idafa amola ida: iwane.
The boundary lines of my life mark out delightful country, my heritage pleases me well.
7 Hina Gode da na masunu logo olelebeba: le, na da Ema nodosa. Amola, gasia na asigi dawa: su da nama sisasu olelesa.
I praise the Lord for his counsel, which so stirs my heart in the night.
8 Na da eso huluane Hina Gode da nama gadenene aligisa, amo na dawa: Hou huluane nama doaga: sea amoma na da hame dafamu.
I keep the Lord always in mind: with him at my hand, I can never be moved.
9 Amola na da nodosa amola hahawane amola na dawa: loba, na da gaga: i dagoi.
So my heart is glad, there is joy inside me; and in safety of body I live.
10 Bai Dia da bogosu logo ea gasa amoga na gaga: i dagoi. Amola Di da na dogolegeiba: le, Dia da na bogosu soge ganodini dasama: ne hame yolesimu. (Sheol h7585)
For you will not give me up to Sheol nor let any who love you see the pit. (Sheol h7585)
11 Di da logo amo da esalusu amoga doaga: sa, amo logo Di da nama olelemu. Di da nama gadenene esalebeba: le, na da hahawane bagade. Amola na da mae fisili eso huluane hahawane ba: lalumu.
You will show me the path that leads to life, to that fulness of joy which is in your presence, and the pleasures dispensed by your hand evermore.
