“To the chief musician, a psalm of David.” Deliver me, O Lord, from an evil man; from a man of violence do thou keep me;
2 Ilia da eso huluane wadela: le hamomusa: ilegelala. Ilia da eso huluane sia: ga gegesa amola sia: waisa.
Who think over evil [resolves] in their heart, [who] every day are gathered together for war.
3 Ilia gona: su da medosu sania defele gala. Ilia sia: da saya: be ea medosu defo hano defele gala.
They have sharpened their tongues like a serpent: the poison of the adder is under their lips. (Selah)
4 Hina Gode! Wadela: i hamosu dunu ilia gasaga na banenesisa: besa: le, na gaga: ma. Nimi gegesu dunu da na dafama: ne ilegesa. Dia na gaga: ma!
Preserve me, O Lord, from the hands of the wicked, from the man of violence do thou keep me, who think of overthrowing my steps.
5 Hidale gasa fibi dunu da na sa: ima: ne sanenesisi. Ilia da na gagulaligima: ne, logoba: le sanenesisu.
The proud have hidden a snare for me, and cords; they have spread a net by the side of [my] track; traps have they set for me. (Selah)

O thou Eternal Lord, the strength of my salvation, thou hast covered my head on the day of battle.
8 Hina Gode! Wadela: i hamosu dunu ilia hanai liligi ilima mae ima. Ilia wadela: i hamoma: ne ilegesu amo hedofama.
Grant not, O Lord, the longings of the wicked; suffer not his wicked device to succeed: lest they exalt themselves. (Selah)
9 Na ha lai dunu da na hasalasisa: besa: le, ilia logo hedofama. Ilia nama se ima: ne sia: su da sinidigili, ilima se ima: ne, Dia hamoma.
[As for] the heads of those that encompass me about, let the mischief of their own lips cover them.
10 Gia: i bagade lalu oso da ili da: iya sa: imu da defea. Ilia da uli dogoi ganodini dafane, bu hame heda: mu da defea.
Let burning coals be cast upon them: let them be thrown into the fire; into deep pits, that they rise not up again.
11 Dunu amo da eno dunuma ogogole diwaneya udidisia, ilia hamobe da didili hame hamomu da defea. Dodona: gi gegesu dunu da wadela: su liligi amoga gugunufinisi dagoi ba: mu da defea.
Let not the man of an [evil] tongue be established on the earth: may evil hunt down the violent man to his downfall.
12 Hina Gode! Na dawa: , Di da hame gagui dunu amola hahanibi dunu ilia hou gaga: sa.
I know that the Lord will procure right for the afflicted, [and] justice for the needy.
13 Moloidafa dunu ilia da Dima nodone sia: ne, Dia midadi esalumu.
Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto thy name: the upright shall dwell before thy presence.
