2 Ninia da ‘yodima’ ifa damana, ninia sani baidama gosagisi.

Wee hanged our harpes vpon the willowes in the middes thereof.

3 Dunu amo da nini gagulaligi, ilia da ninima amane sia: i, “Ninia hahawane nabima: ne, Saione ea hou olelema: ne, gesami hea: ma.”

4 Be ninia da habodane ga fi soge ganodini, Hina Godema nodone gesami hea: ma: bela: ?

Howe shall we sing, said we, a song of the Lord in a strange land?

5 Yelusaleme! Na da di gogolesea, na da sani baidama bu hamedafa dumu da defea.

If I forget thee, O Ierusalem, let my right hand forget to play.

6 Na da di gogolesea, amola di da na baligili hahawane hou bai diala amo hame dawa: sea, na da bu gesami hea: mu logo hamedafa ba: mu da defea.

If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleaue to the roofe of my mouth: yea, if I preferre not Ierusalem to my chiefe ioy.

7 Hina Gode! Idome dunu ilia da Yelusaleme doagala: le, hasalasi dagoi, Dia amo hou bu dawa: ma. Ilia amane sia: i, “Yelusaleme dafawanedafa muguluma.” Dia amo hou bu dawa: ma.

Remember the children of Edom, O Lord, in the day of Ierusalem, which saide, Rase it, rase it to the foundation thereof.

8 Ba: bilone moilai bai bagade! Di da gugunufinisi dagoi ba: mu. Di da ninima wadela: i hou bagade hamobeba: le, nowa da dima se dabe iasea, da hahawane bagade ba: mu.

O daughter of Babel, worthy to be destroyed, blessed shall he be that rewardeth thee, as thou hast serued vs.

9 E da dia mano dudubu amo sasamogene, gele da: iya gisalu gagala: mu da defea.

Blessed shall he be that taketh and dasheth thy children against the stones.
