1 Hina Gode! Na da na hidale gasa fisu hou yolesi dagoi. Na da mimogo hou, amola liligi huluane amo nama da gasa bagade ba: sa, na da bu hame dawa: lumu.

Lord, my heart is not exalted: nor are my eyes lofty. Neither have I walked in great matters, nor in wonderful things above me.

2 Be amomane, na da hahawane olofole esala. Mano amo da eme hi fei dialea, ouiya: le dialebe defele, na dogo da denesini diala.

If I was not humbly minded, but exalted my soul: As a child that is weaned is towards his mother, so reward in my soul.
