1 Hina Gode! Na da baligiliwane da: i dione heawini esalebeba: le, Dima wele sia: sa!

A Song of Ascents. Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.

2 Hina Gode! Na digini wele sia: be nabima! Na fidima: ne wele sia: be nabima!

Lord, hear my voice: let thine ears be attentive to the voice of my supplications.

3 Di da ninia wadela: i hou hamoi huluane dedene legei ganiaba, ninia huluanedafa da se imunusa: fofada: la: loba.

If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?

But there is forgiveness with thee, that thou mayest be feared.

I wait for the LORD, my soul doth wait, and in his word do I hope.

6 Na da Hina Gode Ea fidisu ba: musa: hanaiba: le ouesalebe, amo da sosodo aligisu dunu da hehebolo misa: ne hanaiba: le ouesalebe, amo baligisa.

My soul [looketh] for the Lord, more than watchmen [look] for the morning; [yea, more than] watchmen for the morning.

7 Isala: ili fi dunu! Hina Gode Ea hou dafawaneyale dawa: ma! Bai Ea asigidafa hou da hamedafa fisisa. E da eso huluane dili gaga: mu hanai gala.

O Israel, hope in the LORD; for with the LORD there is mercy, and with him is plenteous redemption.

8 E da Ea fi Isala: ili dunu, ilia wadela: i hou hamobe amoga mae gugunufinisima: ne, ili gaga: mu.

And he shall redeem Israel from all his iniquities.
