1 Hina Gode da ninimagale hame fidisu ganiaba, ninia da adi hamona: nobela: ? Isala: ili fi! Dabe adole ima!
A Song of degrees of David. If [it had not been] the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say;
2 Nini ha lai dunu da ninima doagala: beba: le, Hina Gode da ninimagale hame gegei ganiaba, ninia ha lai dunu da ougi bagadeba: le, nini esalumuna: wane mogo sala: loba.
If [it had not been] the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us:
Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us:
4 Amola hano fili gala: le, nini mini ahoa: noba amola hano da nini dedebola: loba, nini da mogososone gela da: loba.
Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul:
Then the proud waters had gone over our soul.
6 Hina Gode da ninima ha lai dunuga nini gugunufinisisa: besa: le, Ilia logo hedofaiba: le, Ema nodomu da defea.
Blessed [be] the LORD, who hath not given us [as] a prey to their teeth.
7 Ninia da sio sanisu dunu ea sani amoga dasa: besa: le hobeasa, amo defele ninia hobea: i. Sani da gadelale sa: iba: le, ninia da halegale lala.
Our soul hath escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare [is] broken, and we have escaped.
8 Nini fidisu da Hina Gode, mu amola osobo bagade hahamosu dunu, Emadini maha.
Our help [is] in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
