1 Hina Gode! Ninia da Dia hadigidafa hou amoma fawane nodomu da defea. Dunu da nini hadigi gala sia: mu da defea hame. Bai Di fawane da mae fisili, asigidafa hou hamonana, amola nini fisima: ne hame dawa:
Yahweh, people should praise [only] you [MTY]; they must praise you, not us, because you faithfully love us and always do what you have promised to do.
2 Fifi asi gala dunu da abuliba: le, “Dilia Gode da habila: ?” amane sia: sala: ?
It is not right that [RHQ] [other] people-groups should say about us, “[They claim that] their God [is very powerful], but [if that is true], why does he not [help them]?”
3 Bai ninia Gode da Hebene ganodini esala. Amola E da Hi hanaiga fawane hamosa.
Our God is in heaven, and he does whatever he wants to!
4 Eno fifi asi gala ilia ‘gode’ da silifa amola gouliga hamoi liligi, osobo bagade dunu ilia loboga hamoi fawane.
[But] their idols are only [statues made of] silver and gold, things that humans have made.
5 Ilia da lafi gala, be sia: baoumu hame dawa: Ilia da si gala, be ba: mu gogolesa.
Their idols have mouths, but they cannot say [anything]; they have eyes, but they cannot see [anything].
6 Ilia da ge gala be nabimu hamedei. Ilia da mi gala, be amoga gaha amola gabusiga: nabimu hamedei.
They have ears, but they cannot hear [anything]; they have noses, but they cannot smell [anything].
7 Ilia da lobo gala, be digili ba: mu hamedei. Ilia da emo gala be masunu gogolesa. Ilia da ouiya: le diala.
They have hands, but they cannot feel [anything]; they have feet, but they cannot walk, and they have throats but cannot [even] make any sounds!
8 Dunu da amo loboga hamoi ogogosu ‘gode’ hahamoi amola ilima dafawaneyale dawa: sa, ilia da amo ogogosu liligi ilia hamoi, amo defele hamomu da defea.
The people who make those idols are [as powerless] as those idols, and those who trust in those idols [can accomplish nothing], just like their idols!
9 Be dilia Isala: ili fi dunu! Hina Godema dafawaneyale dawa: ma! E da dili fidisa amola gaga: sa.
You, [my fellow] Israeli people, trust in Yahweh! He is the one who helps you and [protects you like] [MET] a shield.
10 Dilia Gode Ea gobele salasu dunu! Hina Godema dafawaneyale dawa: ma! E da dili fidisa amola gaga: sa.
You priests [MTY], trust in Yahweh! He is the one who helps you and [protects you like] [MET] a shield.
11 Dilia Hina Godema nodone sia: ne gadolalebe dunu! Hina Godema dafawaneyale dawa: ma. E da dili fidisa amola gaga: sa.
[All] you who revere Yahweh, trust in him! He is the one who helps you and [protects you like] [MET] a shield.
12 Hina Gode da nini dawa: lala, amola ninima hahawane hou imunu. E da Isala: ili fi dunu amola Gode Ea gobele salasu dunu huluane Ilima hahawane imunu.
Yahweh has not forgotten us; he will bless us Israeli people [MTY]! He will bless the priests,
13 E da dunu huluane, bagade amola fonobahadi defele, ilia da Ema nodone dawa: sea, ilima hahawane hou imunu.
and he will bless [all] those who revere him; he will bless important [people] and people [who are considered to be] unimportant, [everyone!]
14 Hina Gode da dili amola diligaga fi dunuma mano imunu da defea.
I desire that Yahweh will give many children to you [my fellow-Israeli people], and to your descendants.
15 Hina Gode da mu amola osobo bagade hahamoi. E da dilima hahawane hou imunu da defea.
I desire that Yahweh, the one who made heaven and the earth, will bless [all of] you!
16 Hebene da Hina Gode Ea Hisu soge. Be E da osobo bagade amo nini osobo bagade dunuma i dagoi.
The [highest] heavens belong to Yahweh, but he gave [everything that is on] the earth to [us] people.
17 Bogoi dunu ilia da ouiya: i soge amoga gudu daha. Bogoi dunu, ilia Hina Godema nodone sia: mu hamedei ba: sa.
Dead [people] are not [able to] praise Yahweh; when they descend into the place where dead people are, they are unable to speak and cannot praise him.
18 Be nini esalebe dunu, ninia da Ema eso huluane mae fisili, nodonanumu. Hina Godema nodoma!
But we [who are alive] will thank/praise him, now and forever. Praise Yahweh!
