When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language;

Judah was his sanctuary, [and] Israel his dominion.

The sea saw [it], and fled: Jordan was driven back.
4 Goumi ilia da goudi agoane hahadiasu. Amola agolo ilia da sibi mano agoane hahadia lafia: su.
The mountains skipped like rams, [and] the little hills like lambs.
5 Hano wayabo! Di da adiba: le hobeabela: ? Amola Yodane hano di da abuliba: le yogo ahoanu amo fisibala: ?
What [ailed] thee, O thou sea, that thou fleddest? thou Jordan, [that] thou wast driven back?
6 Goumi! Di da abuliba: le goudi manoga hadiabe defele hadialula: ? Agolo soge! Dilia da abuliba: le, sibi manoga suagagala: gagadobe defele hamosula: ?
Ye mountains, [that] ye skipped like rams; [and] ye little hills, like lambs?
7 Osobo bagade! Hina Gode da mabeba: le, Ya: igobe ea Gode Ea midadi yaguguma.
Tremble, thou earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob;
8 Bai E da igi amo afadenene hano wayabo hamosa, amola magufu adobo amo hano bubuga: su agoane hamosa.
Which turned the rock [into] a standing water, the flint into a fountain of waters.
