1 Aya hamomu hou amo mae gaguia gadole hidale ilegema. Be di da fa: no misunu hou hame dawa:
Boast not thy selfe of to morowe: for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.
2 Eno dunu amola degabo ba: i dunu da dima nodone ofa: mu da defea. Be di da dina: maedafa ofa: ma.
Let another man prayse thee, and not thine owne mouth: a stranger, and not thine owne lips.
3 Igi amola boso amola da dioi bagade. Be gagaoui dunu ea mosolasu hamoi da amo dioi baligisa.
A stone is heauie, and the sand weightie: but a fooles wrath is heauier then them both.
4 Udigili mi hanai hou da dodona: gi amola dunu eno wadela: lesisa. Be mudasu hou da dunu eno baligili wadela: lesisa.
Anger is cruell, and wrath is raging: but who can stand before enuie?
5 Di da dunu eno ea hou afadenema: ne gagabole sia: musa: dawa: sea, mae wamolegele, hima odagia sia: mu da defea. Agoane hame hamosea, di da ema hame asigisa e da dawa: mu.
Open rebuke is better then secret loue.
6 Dia dogolegei da di fidima: ne, dima odagia sia: sea, se iaha. Be dima ha lai dunu da dima nonogole, asigiwane sia: sea, dawa: ma: i!
The wounds of a louer are faithful, and the kisses of an enemie are pleasant.
7 Di da ha: i mai amo sadisia da agime hano hedai ha: i manu higasa. Be di da ha: i bagadedafa ba: sea, ha: i manu gamogai da hedai ba: sa.
The person that is full, despiseth an hony combe: but vnto the hungry soule euery bitter thing is sweete.
8 Dunu hina: fifilasu yolesili udigili lalebe ea hou da sio ea musugai amo da: iya mae diaheda: le, fisili asi agoai gala.
As a bird that wandreth from her nest, so is a man that wandreth from his owne place.
9 Susuligi amola gabusiga: na manoma ulasea da dia da: i noga: le hisisa. Be dima bidi hamosu doaga: sea, dia asigi dawa: su noga: i da dafane goudane fofonoboi agoai ba: sa.
As oyntment and perfume reioyce the heart, so doeth the sweetenes of a mans friend by hearty counsell.
10 Dia dogolegei amola dia ada ea dogolegei dunu amo mae gogolema. Mosolasu da dima doaga: sea, dia oladafa amo ea fidima: ne mae adole ba: ma. Be dia na: iyado, di gadenene esalebe, amo ea da di noga: le fidimu. Be dia oladafa da badiliadafaba: le, di noga: le hame fidimu.
Thine owne friend and thy fathers friend forsake thou not: neither enter into thy brothers house in the day of thy calamitie: for better is a neighbour that is neere, then a brother farre off.
11 Na mano, dawa: su noga: i lama! Amasea, na da hahawane ba: mu. Amola dunu eno da nama gadele sia: sea, na da ilima adole imunusa: dawa: mu.
My sonne, be wise, and reioyce mine heart, that I may answere him that reprocheth me.
12 Noga: le molole dawa: su dunu ilia da bidi doaga: su manebe hedolo ba: sa, amola gaga: sa. Be noga: le hame dawa: su dunu da amo bidi doaga: su amo noga: le hame ba: beba: le, amodili ahoa. Amola fa: no e da bu da: i dione dawa: sa.
A prudent man seeth the plague, and hideth himselfe: but the foolish goe on still, and are punished.
13 Degabo ba: i dunu da liligi bidi lale, bidi mae iawane fa: no imunu sia: sea, be eno dunu da amo dunu ea fa: no imunu bidi, amo hi da wali imunu sia: sea, e da gagoule agoane hamosa. Amola degabo ba: i dunu da bidi bu hame iasea, bidi iasu dunu da gagaoui dunu amo ea soge lamu da defea.
Take his garment that is surety for a stranger, and a pledge of him for the stranger.
14 Di da dia dogolegei amo hahabe golai dialebe amo nedigima: ne ha: giniwane halaga: la: sea, e da fofogadigili se nabimu. Amo hou da ema gagabusu aligima: ne agoai ba: sa.
He that prayseth his friend with a loude voyce, rising earely in the morning, it shall be counted to him as a curse.
15 Uda gesa: gesa: i ea hou da gibu dasea dadadibi agoai ba: sa.
A continual dropping in the day of raine, and a contentious woman are alike.
16 Di da gesa: gesa: i uda ea hou habodane ouiya: ma: ne sia: ma: bela: ? Dia loboga fo mabe gagumusa: dawa: bela: ? Dia loboga susuligi usuna gagumusa: dawa: bela: ?
He that hideth her, hideth the winde, and she is as ye oyle in his right hand, that vttereth it selfe.
17 Ouli aduna ele degenana mebe agoai gala. Amo defele, dunu aduna da gilisili sia: dasea, ela galu dawa: lasa.
Yron sharpeneth yron, so doeth man sharpen the face of his friend.
18 Figi ifa noga: le ouligisia, di da figi fage manu galebe. Hawa: hamosu dunu da ea hina dunu noga: le ouligisia, hina dunu da e nodone ouligimu.
He that keepeth the fig tree, shall eate the fruite thereof: so he that waiteth vpon his master, shall come to honour.
19 Di da hanoa gudu ba: le gudusia, dina: baba ba: sa. Amola dia dogo ba: sea, dia asigi dawa: su houdafa ba: sa.
As in water face answereth to face, so the heart of man to man.
20 Bogosu soge da hamedafa nabamu. Amaiwane, osobo bagade dunu da liligi hanai gala. Amola sadimu hame dawa: (Sheol )
The graue and destruction can neuer be full, so the eyes of man can neuer be satisfied. (Sheol )
21 Dunu da gouli amola silifa amola laluga gogobele adoba: sa. Amo defele, dunu ilia da eno dunu ea hou adoba: sa.
As is the fining pot for siluer and the fornace for golde, so is euery man according to his dignitie.
22 Di da gagaoui dunu fanana, fanana, e bogomu gadenesea fawane fisisa, be ea gagaoui hou fadegale fasimu hamedei agoane ba: mu.
Though thou shouldest bray a foole in a morter among wheate brayed with a pestell, yet will not his foolishnes depart from him.
23 Dia sibi amola bulamagau noga: le dawa: le ouligima.
Be diligent to know ye state of thy flocke, and take heede to the heardes.
24 Bai liligi gagui hou da ebelemu. Amola fifi asi gala huluane da dagomusa: dawa: la.
For riches remaine not alway, nor the crowne from generation to generation.
25 Di da bulamagau ha: i manu gisi bugi amo huluane none dagosea, eno gisi da heda: sea, gisi amo da agolo la: idi gala nosa.
The hey discouereth it selfe, and the grasse appeareth, and the herbes of the mountaines are gathered.
26 Di da sibi ilia hinaboga, abula amunimu amola goudi bidi lale, muni lai amoga soge eno bidi lamu.
The lambes are for thy clothing, and the goates are the price of the fielde.
27 Amola goudi eno hame bidi lai lelebe, amoga di da dodo maga: me dia sosogo fi amola dia hawa: hamosu a: fini huluane defele moma: ne dimusa: dawa: mu.
And let the milke of the goates be sufficient for thy foode, for the foode of thy familie, and for the sustenance of thy maydes.
