1 Hou aduna gala. Afae da di da moloi hou hamobeba: le, eno dunu da dima nodosa. Eno da di da bagade gagusu dunu agoai ba: mu. Di da moloi hamobeba: le, eno dunu da dima nodosa, amo logoga masa: ne ilegema.
A [good] name [is] rather to be chosen than great riches, [and] loving favor rather than silver and gold.
2 Bagade gagui dunu amola hame gagui dunu, ela da hisu hisu. Be hou afadafa da defele. Amo da Hina Gode da ela defele Hi hamoi.
The rich and poor meet together: the LORD [is] the maker of them all.
3 Molole dawa: su dunu da mosolasu mabe noga: le ba: sa, amola amo fisima: ne noga: le gagagulasa. Be noga: le hame dawa: su dunu da mosolasu amo ganodini ahoa, amola fa: no e da bagade gogosiane da: i diosa.
A prudent [man] foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.
4 Hina Godema nabasu hou hamoma, amola gasa fi hou mae hamoma. Amasea, di da bagade gaguiwane ba: mu, dunu eno da dima nodomu, amola di da ode bagohame esalumu.
By humility [and] the fear of the LORD [are] riches, and honor, and life.
5 Wadela: i hamosu dunu da esalusu logoga ahoasea, sani bagohame ba: sa. Di da dia esalusu amoma asigi galea, amo saniga dasa: besa: le, segasa: ima.
Thorns [and] snares [are] in the way of the froward: he that doth keep his soul shall be far from them.
6 Dia mano da moloiwane esaloma: ne, ema hou noga: le olelema. Amasea, e da amo hou mae gogolele, ea bogosu amoga doaga: mu.
Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.
7 Hame gagui dunu da bagade gagui dunu ilia bidi mae lale udigili hawa: hamosu dunu agoai galebe. Nowa dunu da enoma muni bu imunusa: lasea, e da amo muni iasu dunu amo ea udigili hawa: hamosu dunu esala.
The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower [is] servant to the lender.
8 Di da moloi hame hou, hawa: agoane sagasea, se nabasu da sono agoane heda: le, se nabasu da gamibi agoai ba: mu. Amola amo sagai da hame dialumu.
He that soweth iniquity shall reap vanity: and the rod of his anger shall fail.
9 Di da mae hihini, dia ha: i manu mogili hame gagui dunuma iasea, di da hahawane ba: mu.
He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor.
10 Dilia gasa fi dunu sefasima. Amasea, dilia da sia: ga gegesu amola dunu eno ilia dio amoma lasagole sia: su, amo bu hame ba: mu.
Cast out the scorner, and contention shall end; yes, strife and reproach shall cease.
11 Nowa da hadigi ida: iwane asigi dawa: su amo hanai galea, amola asigidafa sia: hanai galea, amo dunuma hina bagade da dogolegemu.
He that loveth pureness of heart, [for] the grace of his lips the king [shall be] his friend.
12 Hina Gode da dafawane sia: momagele legesa. Be E da ogogosu dunu ilia sia: wadela: lesisa.
The eyes of the LORD preserve knowledge, and he overthroweth the words of the transgressor.
13 Hihi dabuli dunu e da eso huluane diasu ganodini fawane esala. E da amane sia: sa, “Na da gadili ahoasea, laione wa: me da na medole legemu galebe!”
The slothful [man] saith, [There is] a lion without, I shall be slain in the streets.
14 Inia uda adole lasu hou da sani agoane diala. Hina Gode da wadela: i hou hamosu dunu ilima ougi bagade gala, amola agoai dunu da amo saniga hedolo sa: imu.
The mouth of strange women [is] a deep pit: he that is abhorred by the LORD shall fall therein.
15 Mano huluane da dawa: hamedene, udigili hou hamonana. Be ili fada: i dawa: ma: ne fasea da ilia hou bu hahamomu.
Foolishness [is] bound in the heart of a child; [but] the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.
16 Dia udigili iasu amo bagade gagui dunuma iasea, o di bagade gaguma: ne hame gagui dunu ilia liligi lasea, amola ilima banenesisia, di amola da fa: no hame gagui dunu agoai ba: mu.
He that oppresseth the poor to increase his [riches], [and] he that giveth to the rich, [shall] surely [come] to want.
17 Nabima! Amasea, na da bagade dawa: su dunu ilia olelebe amo dima olelemu. Ilia olelebe amo noga: le hogoi helema.
Bow down thy ear, and hear the words of the wise, and apply thy heart to my knowledge.
18 Amola di da amo olelebe noga: le dawa: sea, amola eno dunuma olelemusa: dawa: sea, di da hahawane ba: mu.
For [it is] a pleasant thing if thou keepest them within thee; they shall withal be fitted in thy lips.
19 Na da amo olelebe wali dima olelemu. Bai di noga: le nabalu, Hina Gode dafawaneyale dawa: mu, amo na da hanai galebe.
That thy trust may be in the LORD, I have made known to thee this day, even to thee.
20 Na da dima olelema: ne, sia: 30 agoane dedei dagoi. Amo sia: ganodini dawa: ma: ne sia: , sisasu sia: amola fada: i sia: da dedei dagoi.
Have not I written to thee excellent things in counsels and knowledge,
21 Amo sia: da dima dafawanedafa hou olelemu. Amasea, di da enoga dafawane hou hogoi helema: ne asunasisia, di da amo ea bai bu gaguli misunu.
That I might make thee know the certainty of the words of truth; that thou mightest answer the words of truth to them that send to thee?
22 Hame gagui dunu da gasa hameba: le, ilia hou mae banenesima. Amola asaboi gasa hame dunu ilima fofada: sea, ilia hou mae banenesima.
Rob not the poor, because he [is] poor: neither oppress the afflicted in the gate:
23 Bai Hina Gode da ili fidima: ne ilimagale fofada: mu. Amola nowa dunu da amo asaboi hame gagui dunu ilima beda: ma: ne medole legemusa: sia: sea, Hina Gode da amo dunu beda: ma: ne medole legemusa: sia: mu.
For the LORD will plead their cause, and spoil the soul of those that spoiled them.
24 Dilia gasa fi nimi bagade dunu amo maedafa dogolegema.
Make no friendship with an angry man; and with a furious man thou shalt not go:
25 Di da amaiwane hou lasa: besa: le amola dia hou bu afadenemu hamedeiwane ba: sa: besa: le amo maedafa dogolegema.
Lest thou learn his ways, and get a snare to thy soul.
26 Dunu eno da liligi lale bidi mae iawane fa: no imunu sia: sea, di da ea udigili lai amo dabe imunusa: mae sia: ma
Be not thou [one] of them that strike hands, [or] of them that are sureties for debts.
27 Di da fa: no amo dabe imunu da hamedei ba: sea, se nabimu. Amola ilia dia liligi huluane amola dia diaheda: su amolawane, amo dabeyale lamu.
If thou hast nothing to pay, why should he take away thy bed from under thee?
28 Musa: fi dunu ilia soge alalo ilegesu, amo maedafa gua: ma.
Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set.
29 Nowa dunu da noga: idafa hawa: hamosu hamosea, e da dunu oda bagohame ilia hou baligisa. Amola e da hina bagade dunu ilima gilisimu defele ba: sa.
Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean [men].
