1 Hina Gode da hano ea logo hamosa. Amo defele E da hina bagade dunu ilia asigi dawa: su ouligisu dawa:
As a rush of water, so is the king's heart in God's hand: he turns it wherever he may desire to point out.
2 Dia dawa: loba da dia hamobe da molole hamosayale dawa: sa. Be mae gogolema! Hina Gode da dia adi baiga hamobeyale, Ea ba: sa.
Every man seems to himself righteous; but the Lord directs the hearts.
3 Hina Gode da gobele salasu iasu hou fonobahadi hahawane ba: sa. Be di da moloiwane hamosea, amola eno dunuma molole hamosea, Hina Gode da amo hou baligili bagade hahawane ba: sa.
To do justly and to speak truth, are more pleasing to God than the blood of sacrifices.
4 Wadela: i gasa fi hou da wadela: i dunu ilima hina agoai gala. Amo da wadela: i houdafa.
A high-minded man is stout-hearted in [his] pride; and the lamp of the wicked is sin.
5 Noga: le ilegelalu hamosea, di da bagade gagui ba: mu. Be dia momabo hamosea, di da defele gagui hame ba: mu.
6 Di ogogole lai liligi bagade gagui galea, dia gagui da hedolo fisi dagoi ba: mu. Ogogole lai liligi da dima medosu sani agoai gala.
He that gathers treasures with a lying tongue pursues vanity [on] to the snares of death.
7 Wadela: i hamosu dunu da mosolasu hamobeba: le, hobeamu logo hame ba: mu. Ilia da moloi hou hamomu higasa.
Destruction shall lodge with the ungodly; for they refuse to do justly.
8 Molole hame labe dunu da guga: loi logo amoga ahoa. Be molole dawa: su dunu ilia da molole ahoana.
To the froward God sends froward ways; for his works are pure and right.
9 Dunu e da gesa: gesa: i udala gilisili fimu da gasa bagade. Dunu hisu diasu dabua mogoa gado fifi lamu amo ea hou da baligisa.
[It is] better to dwell in a corner on the house-top, than in plastered [rooms] with unrighteousness, and in an open house.
10 Wadela: le hamosu dunu da eso huluane wadela: i hou hamomusa: bagade hanai gala. E da dunu huluane ilima hamedafa asigisa.
The soul of the ungodly shall not be pitied by any man.
11 Gasa fi dunu da se iasu lasea, dunu huluane amola hame dawa: su dunu da dawa: lasa. Nowa da dawa: su galea, e da amo hou ba: sea, dawa: lamu.
When an intemperate man is punished the simple becomes wiser: and a wise man understanding will receive knowledge.
12 Moloidafa Gode, E da wadela: i hamosu dunu ilia diasu ganodini hamobe, amo huluane ba: lala. Ea da wadela: i hamosu dunu huluane dafama: ne gugunufinisimu.
A righteous man understands the hearts of the ungodly: and despises the ungodly for their wickedness.
13 Hame gagui dunu da se nabawane dinanawane fidima: ne dima wesea, di da nabimu higasea, eso enoga eno dunu da dia disa webe amo hame nabimu.
He that stops his ears from hearing the poor, himself also shall cry, and there shall be none to hear [him].
14 Dunu eno da dima mihanai galea, defea, udigili iasu liligi amo wamowane ema ima. Amasea, e da ea hou bu olofomu.
A secret gift calms anger: but he that forbears to give stirs up strong wrath.
15 Dunu da moloidafa fofada: su hou hamosea, noga: i dunu da hahawane ba: sa. Be wadela: i dunu da amo moloidafa fofada: su ba: sea, bagadewane heawini da: i dioiba: le, bu esalumu hihi agoai ba: sa.
[It is] the joy of the righteous to do judgement: but a holy [man] is abominable with evil-doers.
16 Nowa dunu da asigi dawa: su moloidafa amo yolesili ahoasea, bogosu da ema doaga: mu galebe.
A man that wanders out of the way of righteousness, shall rest in the congregation of giants.
17 Di da bagade gagui ba: mu hanai galea, osobo bagade liligi noga: i amola ha: i nasu ida: iwane amola waini ida: iwane amo lama: ne, dia muni mae galagama.
A poor man loves mirth, loving wine and oil in abundance;
18 Wadela: le hamosu dunu da moloidafa dunu ilima se imunusa: dawa: lala. Be ilila: da amo se nabimu.
and a transgressor is the abomination of a righteous man.
19 Dunu amola gesa: gesa: i uda ela gilisili esalumu da da: i dioi bagade liligi. Dunu hisu da hafoga: i gibu hame dasu sogega esalumu da defea.
[It is] better to dwell in a wilderness than with a quarrelsome and talkative and passionate woman.
20 Noga: le momodale dawa: su dunu ilia da liligi bagade gaguiwane esala. Be momodale hame dawa: su dunu ilia da muni amola liligi lale, hedolo galagasa.
A desirable treasure will rest on the mouth of the wise; but foolish men will swallow it up.
21 Di da asigidafa hou amola moloidafa hou amo ganodini ahoasea, di da ode bagohame esalumu. Amola eno dunu da dima nodone amola moloidafa hou dima hamomu.
The way of righteousness and mercy will find life and glory.
22 Bagade dawa: su dadi gagui bisilua dunu da moilai bai bagade amo gasa bagade dunuga gaga: i, wadela: lesimusa: dawa: Gasa bagade dunu da ilia moilai gagoi da ili noga: le gagili sali dawa: i galu. Be e da amo wadela: lesisa.
A wise man assaults strong cities, and demolishes the fortress in which the ungodly trusted.
23 Di da mosolasu hame ba: musa: hanai galea, di noga: le dawa: lu sia: ma.
He that keeps his mouth and his tongue keeps his soul from trouble.
24 Gasa fi dunu da nimi bagade amola hi hou da baligi bagade hi dawa: , amola e da eno dunuma hame asigisa.
A bold and self-willed and insolent [man] is called a pest: and he that remembers injuries is a transgressor.
25 Hihi dabuli dunu da hawa: hamosu hihiba: le, hina: bogomusa: logo fodosa.
Desires kill the sluggard; for his hands do not choose to do anything.
26 Hihi dabuli dunu da hi hanai liligi lamusa: fawane dawa: lala. Be moloi dunu da eno dunuma liligi bagadewane iaha.
An ungodly man entertains evil desires all the day: but the righteous is unsparingly merciful and compassionate.
27 Wadela: i dunu da gobele salasu Godema iasea, Hina Gode da amo higasa. Be ilia da wadela: i hou hamomusa: , Ema iasea, E da baligili bagade higasa.
The sacrifices of the ungodly are abomination to the Lord, for they offer them wickedly.
28 Dunu ilia da ogogosu dunu ea sia: dafawaneyale hame dawa: sa. Be nowa moloi dunu da noga: le dadawa: lalu sia: sea, amo ea sia: ilia da dafawaneyale dawa: sa.
A false witness shall perish; but an obedient man will speak cautiously.
29 Moloidafa dunu da ilia hamobe ilisu dawa: digisa. Be wadela: i hamosu dunu da hina: hou hi dawa: , amo ogogole sia: sa.
An ungodly man impudently withstands with his face; but the upright man himself understands his ways.
30 Osobo bagade dunu bagohame da osobo bagade asigi dawa: su noga: iwane gala. Be Hina Gode da ilima ha lai galea, amo hou da ili hame fidisa.
There is no wisdom, there is no courage, there is no counsel against the ungodly.
31 Di da gegemusa: gini, hosi amola gegesu liligi momagemu da defea. Be Hina Gode Hi fawane da hasalasu hou iaha.
A horse is prepared for the day of battle; but help is of the Lord.
