1 Uda amo da asigi dawa: su ida: iwane gala, da ea sosogo fi noga: le ouligisa. Be gagaoui uda da amo sosogo fi hedolo wadela: sa.
A wise woman builds up her household. But a foolish one will pull down with her own hands what has been built up.
2 Moloidafa hou hamoma! Amasea, di da dia Hina Godema nabasu hou amo eno dunu ilima olelemu. Be moloi hou hame hamosea, di da Hina Godema hame nabasu hou amo dunu eno ili ba: ma: ne olelesa.
One who walks on a virtuous journey, and who fears God, is despised by him who advances along a disreputable way.
3 Gagaoui dunu da gasa fi hamobeba: le, udigili bagade sia: daha. Be nowa dunu da asigi dawa: su ida: iwane galea, ea sia: noga: i da ema gaga: su liligi agoai gala.
In the mouth of the foolish, there is a rod of arrogance. But the lips of the wise guard them.
4 Di da bulamagau dia osobo gidinasu hiougisu galea, dia ha: i manu ligisisu diasu da gagoma bagade amoga nabai ba: mu. Be bulamagau hame galea, ha: i manu amola hame ba: mu.
Where there are no oxen, the feeding trough is empty. But where there are many crops, there the strength of the ox is manifest.
5 Noga: idafa ba: su dunu da fofada: sea, moloidafa sia: fawane sia: sa. Be moloi hame ba: su dunu da ogogosu fawane sia: sa.
A faithful witness will not lie. But a deceitful witness offers a lie.
6 Hi hou hidale dawa: su dunu da hi hou da bagade dawa: beba: le, da bagade dawa: su hamedafa lamu. Be asigi dawa: su noga: i dunu da hedolo dawa: lamu.
A mocker seeks wisdom and does not find it. The doctrine of the prudent is accessible.
7 Gagaoui dunu ilima gasigama. Ilia da dima olelemu hamedei.
Go against a foolish man, and he does not acknowledge lips of prudence.
8 Bagade dawa: su dunu da habodane bagade dawa: sala: ? Bai e da adi hamomusa: dawa: sea, e da dawa: iwane hamosa. Amola gagaoui dunu da habodane gagaouila: ? Bai hi da liligi huluane dawa: hi fawane dawa: sa, be e da hame dawa:
The wisdom of a discerning man is to understand his way. And the imprudence of the foolish is to be wandering astray.
9 Gagaoui dunu da mae dawa: iwane hahawane wadela: i hou hamosa. Be noga: i dunu da wadela: i hamosea, ilia da gogosiane gogolema: ne olofosu hogosa.
The foolish will speak mockingly of sin. But grace lingers among the just.
10 Dia hahawane hou da dia hou fawane. Amola dia da: i ea hou da dia hou fawane. Eno dunu da dia hou gilisili lamu da hamedei.
The heart that knows the bitterness of its own soul, in its gladness the outsider shall not meddle.
11 Wadela: i hamosu dunu ea sosogo fi da hedolowane wadela: lesi dagoi ba: mu. Be dunu ida: iwane ea sosogo fi da gasawane lelumu.
The house of the impious will be wiped away. Yet truly, the tabernacles of the just shall spring forth.
12 Dunu ilia da logo dialebe ba: sa amola amo da logodafa ilia da dawa: lala. Be amo logo da bogosu doaga: ma: ne diala.
There is a way which seems just to a man, but its conclusion leads to death.
13 Hahawane ousa da da: i dioi hou fonobahadi dedebosa. Be fa: no, hahawane hou da dagosea, da: i dioi da dialebe ba: mu.
Laughter shall be mingled with sorrow, and mourning occupies the limits of joy.
14 Wadela: i hamosu dunu da ilia hamoi defele wadela: i bidi lamu. Be noga: i dunu da ilia hamoi defele bidi ida: iwane lamu.
The foolish will be filled up by his own ways. And the good man shall be above him.
15 Gagaoui dunu da liligi huluane udigili dafawaneyale dawa: mu. Be bagade dawa: su dunu da noga: le ba: lala, hou hi hamobe amo.
The innocent trust every word. The astute one considers his own steps. Nothing good will be for the deceitful son. But the wise servant shall act prosperously and his way will be set in order.
16 Noga: i dawa: su dunu da dawa: iwane ahoabeba: le, wadela: i hou amoga gasigasa. Be gagaoui dunu da mae dawa: iwane hedolo hamosa amola ea ougi hou da hedolo heda: sa.
The wise fear, and so turn away from evil. The foolish leap ahead with confidence.
17 Nowa dunu da ea ougi hedolo heda: sa da gagaoui hou hamosa. Be noga: i dawa: dunu da asaboiwane ouesalumu.
The impatient will work foolishness. And a resourceful man is hated.
18 Hame dawa: su dunu da ilia gagaoui hou defele wadela: i dabe laha. Be noga: i asigi dawa: su dunu ilia asigi dawa: su hou da asigilamu.
The childish will possess foolishness, and the discerning will anticipate knowledge.
19 Wadela: i hamosu dunu da hobea moloidafa dunu ilima beguduli amola ilima edegemu.
The evil will fall down before the good. And the impious will fall down before the gates of the just.
20 Ema gadenene fi dunu amola dunu huluane da hame gagui dunu ema hame asigisa. Be bagade gagui dunu da ema asigi na: iyado dunu bagohame esalebe ba: sa.
The pauper will be hated, even by his own neighbor. Yet truly, the friends of the wealthy are many.
21 Di da hame gagui dunu ilima asigi galea, di da hahawane ba: mu. Be dunu enoma higasu hou da wadela: i bagade.
Whoever despises his neighbor, sins. But whoever pities the poor shall be blessed. Whoever trusts in the Lord loves mercy.
22 Di da dunu eno fidima: ne amola hou noga: i hamosea, eno dunu da dima dafawaneyale dawa: le nodomu. Be di da wadela: le hamosea, di da giadofasa.
They wander astray who work evil. But mercy and truth prepare good things.
23 Nowa da gasa gala hawa: hamosea, e da bidi ida: iwane lamu. Be nowa da udigili esala sia: dalea da hame gagui agoai esalumu.
In every work, there shall be abundance. But where there are many words, there is often need.
24 Noga: i dawa: su dunu da bidi ida: iwane lamu. Be eno dunu ilia da gagaoui dunu ilia udigili gagaoui hou fawane ba: sa.
The crown of the wise is their wealth. The senselessness of the foolish is imprudence.
25 Ba: su dunu da molole fofada: sea, e da eno dunu ilia esalusu gaga: sa. Be e da ogogole sia: sea, eno dunu ilima hohonosa.
A faithful witness frees souls. And the chameleon utters lies.
26 Nowa dunu e da Hina Godema nodone beda: sea, e da adi hou doaga: sea, e da mae beda: ne gasalale aligimu. Amola ea sosogo fi amola mano da hahawane gaga: iwane esalumu.
In the fear of the Lord is the faithfulness of strength, and there shall be hope for his sons.
27 Di da bogosu fisimu hanabela: ? Hina Godema nodosu da esalusu hano bubuga: su agoai.
The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, so as to turn aside from the ruin of death.
28 Hina bagade da dunu bagohame ouligisia, gasa bagade ba: sa. Be ea dunu fi da hame galea, e amola da hamedei ba: mu.
In a multitude of people, there is dignity for the king. And in a paucity of people, there is disgrace for the prince.
29 Noga: i asigi dawa: su dunu da asaboiwane esalebe ba: sa. Be di da hedolowane ougisia, amo da dia gagaoui hou olelesa.
Whoever is patient is governed by much prudence. But whoever is impatient exalts his foolishness.
30 Dia asigi dawa: su ganodini amo asaboi olofosu galea, hahawane ba: mu. Be mudasu hou da olo bagadewane, dia hu amola gasa na dagosa.
The well-being of the heart is life for the flesh. But envy is decay for the bones.
31 Di da hame gagui dunu banenesisia, di da Gode (E da amo dunu hahamoi) Ema gadesa. Be di da hame gagui ilima asigi hou olelesea, amo da Godema nodone sia: ne gadosu defele gala.
Whoever slanders the indigent argues against his Maker. But he who has compassion on the poor honors his Maker.
32 Wadela: i hamosu dunu da wadela: i hamobeba: le, ilisu dafamu logo fodosa. Be noga: i dunu da ilia hou ida: iwane gala amoga gaga: i dagoi ba: sa.
The impious will be expelled in his malice. But the just finds hope even in his own death.
33 Noga: idafa dawa: su dunu amo ea dogo da dawa: su hou amoga nabai gala. Be gagaoui dunu da noga: i dawa: su hou hamedafa dawa:
In the heart of the prudent, wisdom finds rest. And so shall he instruct all the uneducated.
34 Moloidafa hou hamobeba: le, osobo bagade fi da noga: idafa ba: mu. Be wadela: i hou hamobeba: le, osobo bagade fi da gogosiasu ba: mu.
Justice elevates a nation. But sin makes the peoples miserable.
35 Hina bagade dunu da eagene ouligisu noga: i amo hahawane ba: sa. Be eagene ouligisu da noga: le hame hamosea, hina bagade da ema se iasu iaha.
An intelligent minister is acceptable to the king. Whoever is useless shall bear his wrath.
