1 Soloumone ea malasu sia: da haguduga dedei diala: - Dunu mano e da asigi dawa: su ida: iwane galea, ea eda da hahawane ba: sa. Be gagaoui dunu mano ea hamobeba: le, ea ame da se bagade naba.
The proverbs of Solomon. A wise son makes a glad father; but a foolish son brings grief to his mother.
2 Di da wadela: i hou hamobeba: le, liligi bagade gagusia, hahawane hame ba: mu. Be hou moloidafa hamosea, dia esalusu da gaga: i dagoi ba: mu.
Treasures of wickedness profit nothing, but righteousness delivers from death.

The LORD will not allow the soul of the righteous to go hungry, but he thrusts away the desire of the wicked.

He becomes poor who works with a lazy hand, but the hand of the diligent brings wealth.

He who gathers in summer is a wise son, but he who sleeps during the harvest is a son who causes shame.
6 Gode E da moloiwane dunu ema hahawane dogolegele hamosu dawa: Be wadela: le hamosu dunu ea sia: da ea nimi bagade wadela: i asigi dawa: su amo wamolegesa.
Blessings are on the head of the righteous, but violence covers the mouth of the wicked.
7 Dunu noga: idafa amo bogosea, dunu amola uda huluane da amo dunu ilia hame gogolesa. Amola dunu nowa da hou ida: iwane hame hamosu bogosea, ilia hedolowane gogolesa.
The memory of the righteous is blessed, but the name of the wicked will rot.
8 Nowa dunu da asigi dawa: su ida: iwane galea, e da enoga sia: be noga: le naba. Nowa dunu da udigili sefe fisu sia: sea, e da wadela: lesi dagoi ba: mu.
The wise in heart accept commandments, but a chattering fool will fall.
9 Dunu moloiwanedafa da hahawane gaga: iwane esalumu. Be wadela: i hou hamosu dunu da ea wadela: i hou wamo legemu hamedei ba: mu.
He who walks blamelessly walks surely, but he who perverts his ways will be found out.
10 Nowa da dafawane sia: banesea, da mosolasu bagade hamosa. Be nowa da mae wamolegele gagabole sia: sea da olofosu fidima: ne hamosa.
One who winks with the eye causes sorrow, but a chattering fool will fall.
11 Moloidafa dunu ea sia: da hahawane esalalalusu hano iasu agoai gala. Be wadela: le hamosu dunu ea sia: da ea nimi bagade hou wamolegesa.
The mouth of the righteous is a spring of life, but violence covers the mouth of the wicked.
12 Higasu hou amo ganodini da mosolasu bagade ba: sa. Be asigidafa hou da giadofasu huluane dedebosa.
Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all wrongs.
13 Dunu asigi dawa: su moloiwane dawa: su dunu da hou moloi fawane olelesa. Be gasa fi gagaoui dunu da se iasu ba: mu da defea.
Wisdom is found on the lips of him who has discernment, but a rod is for the back of him who is void of understanding.

Wise men lay up knowledge, but the mouth of the foolish is near ruin.

The rich man’s wealth is his strong city. The destruction of the poor is their poverty.
16 Noga: idafa hamosu dunu ilia da esalusu bidi lasa. Be wadela: i hamosu dunu da wadela: le hamobeba: le, e da fa: no wadela: i hou baligili hamonanumu.
The labour of the righteous leads to life. The increase of the wicked leads to sin.
17 Nowa dunu ilia da eno dunu ilia gagabole sia: nabasea, da esalusu ba: mu. Be nowa dunu da ilia wadela: i hou dodofesea da wadela: mu logoga ahoa.
He is in the way of life who heeds correction, but he who forsakes reproof leads others astray.
18 Nowa dunu da ea eno dunuma higasu hou wamolegesea da ogogosa. Amola nowa da eno dunu eno dunuma baligidu sia: sea, amo dunu e da gagaoui agoane.
He who hides hatred has lying lips. He who utters a slander is a fool.
19 Dia sia: bagade sia: sea, hedolowane wadela: i hou hamomu. Di da asigi dawa: su ida: iwane galea, di da ouiya: le esalebe ba: mu.
In the multitude of words there is no lack of disobedience, but he who restrains his lips does wisely.
20 Dunu ida: iwane ea sia: amo da noga: i silifa agoane gala. Be wadela: i hamosu dunu amo ea hou amo ganodini da hamedeidafa ba: sa.
The tongue of the righteous is like choice silver. The heart of the wicked is of little worth.
21 Amola dunu ida: iwane ea sia: da dunu bagohame fidisa. Be gagaoui hou da dina: fane legesu dawa:
The lips of the righteous feed many, but the foolish die for lack of understanding.
22 Hina Gode da hahawane dogolegele fidibiba: le, di da bagade gaguiwane ba: mu. Be disu gasa gala hamosea fawane, bagade gaguiwane hame ba: mu.
The LORD’s blessing brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it.
23 Wadela: i hou amoga nodosea da gagaoui agoane gala. Be bagade dawa: su dunu ilia da Bagade Dawa: su Hou amo dawa: sea, hahawane bagade ba: sa.
It is a fool’s pleasure to do wickedness, but wisdom is a man of understanding’s pleasure.
24 Moloidafa dunu da ilia hanai amo da lamu. Be wadela: le hamosu ilia da liligi amoma ilia da baligiliwane beda: i, amo fawane lamu.
What the wicked fear will overtake them, but the desire of the righteous will be granted.
25 Isu misini fulabobe defele, wadela: le hamosu dunu da foga mini asili, hamedafa ba: mu. Be hou ida: iwane dawa: su dunu da eso huluane hahawane gaga: i dagoi ba: sa.
When the whirlwind passes, the wicked is no more; but the righteous stand firm forever.
26 Hihi dabuli dunu amo da dia hawa: hamoma: ne mae lama. Amasea di da hahawane hame ba: mu amola di da se nabimu galebe. E da siaboi hano dia bese wadela: sa amola dia si mobiga ga: i agoai ba: mu.
As vinegar to the teeth, and as smoke to the eyes, so is the sluggard to those who send him.

The fear of the LORD prolongs days, but the years of the wicked shall be shortened.
28 Dunu moloidafa da dafawane hamoma: beyale dawa: beba: le, hahawane hou da ilima doaga: mu. Be hahawane hou da wadela: i hamosu dunu ilima hame doaga: mu.
The prospect of the righteous is joy, but the hope of the wicked will perish.
29 Hina Gode da moloidafa dunu gaga: sa. Be E da wadela: i hamosu dunu gugunufinisisa.
The way of the LORD is a stronghold to the upright, but it is a destruction to the workers of iniquity.
30 Moloidafa dunu da eso huluane gaga: su ba: mu. Be wadela: i hamosu dunu da soge ganodini hame esalumu.
The righteous will never be removed, but the wicked will not dwell in the land.
31 Moloidafa dunu da bagade dawa: su sia: sia: sa. Be dunu da wadela: i sia: sia: sea, ea lafi da ga: i dagoi ba: mu.
The mouth of the righteous produces wisdom, but the perverse tongue will be cut off.
32 Moloidafa dunu da asigi sia: sia: musa: dawa: Be wadela: i hamosu dunu da dunu eno se nabima: ne fawane sia: sa.
The lips of the righteous know what is acceptable, but the mouth of the wicked is perverse.
