1 Oubadaia da amo ba: la: lusu olelei. Amo ganodini, Ouligisudafa Hina Gode da Idome dunu fi ilima doaga: mu hou olelei. The vision of Obadiah. Thus saith the Lord God against Edom, We haue heard a rumour from the Lord, and an ambassadour is sent among the heathen: arise, and let vs rise vp against her to battel.

2 Hina Gode da Idome fi ilima amane sia: sa, “Na dilia nimi hou fonobonesimu, amola dunu huluane ilia da dilima higale ba: mu.

Beholde, I haue made thee small among the heathen: thou art vtterly despised.

3 Dilila: gasa fi hou amoeawane dilila: ogogoi. Dilia bisili moilai bai bagade da igiga gagili sali amola goumia gadodafa gagui. Amaiba: le dilila: da amane sia: sa, ‘Nowa ea da ninia fi muguluma: bela: ? Hame mabu!’

The pride of thine heart hath deceiued thee: thou that dwellest in the cleftes of the rockes, whose habitation is hie, that saith in his heart, Who shall bring me downe to the ground?

4 Be Na da dilima sia: sa, ‘Dilia da buhiba ea hou agoane, ifa balu da: iya gado mu amola gasumuni amo gadenene gagula heda: i sia: sa, Be amomane dili da Na hiougili sanasimu amola mugululi fasimu.

Though thou exalt thy selfe as the eagle, and make thy nest among the starres, thence will I bring thee downe, sayth the Lord.

5 Amola wamolasu dunu da gasia misini, liligi hi hanai amo fawane ladisa, be oda ea hame hanai amo da yolesisa. Amola dunu huluane ilia waini fage hawa: ladisia, ilia oda yolesisa. Be dilima ha lai dunu da dili huluane gugunufinisi dagoi.

Came theeues to thee or robbers by night? howe wast thou brought to silence? woulde they not haue stolen, til they had ynough? if the grape gatherers came to thee, woulde they not leaue some grapes?

6 Iso egaga fi dilia! Dilia muni amola liligi noga: i huluane da enoga gegene lai dagoi.

Howe are the things of Esau sought vp, and his treasures searched?

7 Amola osobo bagade fi dunu ilia dilima saga hamoi amoeawane dilima ogogoi. Ilia da dilia sogega dili sefasi dagoi. Amola dilima olofoiwane esalu dunu da wali dilima osa: le heda: i dagoi. Amola dilia saga hamoi, ali gilisili ha: i nasu, ilia da dili famusa: sanigei agoane gala. Ilia da dili hou amane olelesa, ‘Ilia musa: bagade dawa: su hou da habila: ?’

All the men of thy confederacie haue driuen thee to ye borders: the men that were at peace with thee, haue deceiued thee, and preuailed against thee: they that eate thy bread, haue laid a wound vnder thee: there is none vnderstanding in him.

8 Na da eso afaega, Idome fi se nabasimu. Amo esoga Na da ilia bagade dawa: su dunu fane legemu Amola Na da ilia dawa: lai hou amo huluane dogale fasimu.

Shall not I in that day, saith the Lord, euen destroy the wise men out of Edom, and vnderstanding from the mount of Esau?

9 Dima: ne osobo dogone fi da gegesu bagade dawa: , be amomane ilia da beda: mu. Amola Idome ea dadi gagui dunu huluane bogogia: i dagoi ba: mu.”

And thy strong men, O Teman, shall bee afraide, because euery one of the mount of Esau shalbe cut off by slaughter.

10 Hina Gode da bu agoane sia: sa, “Dilia da dilia sosogo fi dunu (Ya: igobe egaga fi dunu) amo ilia liligi wamolale, ili medole legeiba: le, dilia da gugunufinisi dagoi ba: mu. Amola eno dunu da eso huluane mae fisili dili higale ba: mu.

For thy crueltie against thy brother Iaakob, shame shall couer thee, and thou shalt be cut off for euer.

11 Ga fi dunu da Yelusaleme moilai bai bagade logo ga: i fi, amola Yelusaleme dunu fi ilia muni lale, momogili ilia fi dunuma sagoi. Be dilia da Yelusaleme fi ilima mae asigili, udigili la: ididili lelebe ba: i.

When thou stoodest on the other side, in the day that the strangers caried away his substance, and straungers entred into his gates, and cast lots vpon Ierusalem, euen thou wast as one of them.

12 Dilia da dilia diolalali Yuda soge ganodini esala se nababeba: le hidale habosesele ba: i. Amo da defea hame galebe. Ilia da gugunufinisi ba: loba, dilia da ilima asigimu da defea galu. Amola ilia da se nababeba: le, hame ofesega: mu da defea galu.

But thou shouldest not haue beholden the day of thy brother, in the day that hee was made a stranger, neither shouldest thou haue reioyced ouer the children of Iudah, in the day of their destruction: thou shouldest not haue spoken proudly in the day of affliction.

13 Dilia da Na fi dunu ilia se nabasu amoma asigimu da defea galu, amola amo se nabasu babeba: le hahawane hame hamomu galu. Amola dilia da ilia liligi bagade agui da amo esoga hame wamolamu galu.

Thou shouldest not haue entred into the gate of my people, in the day of their destruction, neither shouldest thou haue once looked on their affliction in the day of their destruction, nor haue layde hands on their substance in the day of their destruction.

14 Na fi dunu da ilia ha lai ilima beda: iba: le, hobea: i dagoi. Be dilia da logo sasagulufai dogoa amo dunu gagumusa: lelu. Amo da defea hame galebe. Na fi dunu da se bagade nabi. Be dilia da mae asigili, ili afugili ilia ha lai dunuma i dagoi. Amo amola da defea hame gala.

Neyther shouldest thou haue stande in the crosse wayes to cut off them, that shoulde escape, neither shouldest thou haue shut vp the remnant thereof in the day of affliction.

15 Eso da gadenesa. Na da osobo bagade fifi asi gala huluane ilima fofada: mu eso da gadenesa. Idome! Dia adi hamoi amo defele, amo hou dima doaga: mu. Dia adi i amo defele dima doaga: mu.

For the day of the Lord is neere, vpon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall bee done to thee: thy reward shall returne vpon thine head.

16 Fedege agoane, Na fi dunu ilia Na sema agolo da: iya, gamogai hano faigeleiga nawene, se iasu bagadedafa lai dagoi. Be dunu fifilai ilima sisiga: le diala, ilia se iasu da Na fi ilia se nabi amo bagade baligimu. Ilia da se nabasu faigelei nanu, amasea ilia da alalolesili, bu hamedafa ba: mu.

For as yee haue drunke vpon mine holy Mountaine, so shall all the heathen drinke continually: yea, they shall drinke and swallow vp, and they shalbe as though they had not bene.

17 Be dunu mogili da Saione Goumia gaga: i dagoi ba: mu. Amola amo goumi da hadigi sogebi agoane ba: mu. Isala: ili soge da Ya: igobe ea fi ili gaguma: ne ilegei dagoi. Amaiba: le, ilia da amo soge lalegagumu.

But vpon mount Zion shalbe deliuerance, and it shalbe holy, and the house of Iaakob shall possesse their possessions,

18 Amola Ya: igobe ea fi amola Yousefe ea fi ilia nimi da lalu nei agoai ba: mu. Ilia da Iso ea fi amo bisili gegesea, da samaso bioi ulagi nebe agoane nemu. Amola Iso egaga fi dunu afae esalebe da hamedafa ba: mu. Na, Hina Gode, Na da sia: i dagoi.

And the house of Iaakob shalbe a fire, and the house of Ioseph a flame, and the house of Esau as stubble, and they shall kindle in them and deuoure them: and there shall bee no remnant of the house of Esau for the Lord hath spoken it.

19 Yuda fi gagoe (south) esala ilia da Idome soge amo ganodini fimu. Amola Yuda fi goumi soge guma: goe esala amo da Filisidia soge lamu. Isala: ili dunu da gegene Ifala: ime soge amola Samelia soge lamu. Bediamini fi da gegene, Gilia: de soge lamu.

And they shall possesse the South side of the mount of Esau, and the plaine of the Philistims: and they shall possesse the fieldes of Ephraim, and the fieldes of Samaria, and Beniamin shall haue Gilead.

20 La: di gagoe (north) Isala: ili fi ilia mugululi asi dunu huluane, ilia da sinidigili, Founisia fi amo hasalasili, gagoe (north) asili, ilia soge amogainini Sa: lefa: de moilai amo ganodini fifi lamu. Amola Yelusaleme mugululi asi dunu, Sadisi moilai bai bagade esala yolesili, gegene amola ga (south) Yuda moilale gagai huluane gegene lamu.

And the captiuitie of this host of the children of Israel, which were among the Canaanites, shall possesse vnto Zarephath, and the captiuitie of Ierusalem, which is in Sepharad, shall possesse the cities of the South.

21 Amola Yelusaleme dunu amo da hasalasu dawa: , ilia da Idome fi bisili gegena masunu amo soge amo ilia da lamu, amola ilia amo ouligimu. Amola Hina Gode Hisu da ilia Hina Bagade hamone, ili ouligimu. Sia: ama dagoi

And they that shall saue, shall come vp to mount Zion to iudge the mount of Esau, and the kingdome shalbe the Lords.
