1 Gilia: de fi (Gilia: de da Ma: ige egefe amola Ma: na: se [Yousefe egefe] amo ea aowa esalu) amo ea sosogo ilia bisili ouligisu dunu da Mousese amola eno Isala: ili ouligisu dunu ilima asili,
And there came near the chiefs of the divisions of the family of the children of Gil'ad, the son of Machir, the son of Menasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph; and they spoke before Moses, and before the princes, the chiefs of the divisions of the children of Israel;
2 amane sia: i, “Hina Gode da dilia ululuasu hedele Isala: ili dunuma soge ima: ne sia: i. Amola E da eno sia: i amo dilia ninia fi dunu Siloufiha: de amo ea soge amola liligi amo idiwima ima: ne sia: i.
And they said, the Lord hath commanded my Lord to give the land for an inheritance by lot to the children of Israel; and my Lord hath been commanded by the Lord to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother unto his daughters.
3 Be noga: le dawa: ma! Ilia da eno dunu fi ilima fisia, ilia liligi da amo fi ilima masunu. Amasea, ninia liligi lai da fonoboi dagoi ba: mu.
And if they become the wives of any of the sons of the [other] tribes of the children of Israel: then will their inheritance be taken from the inheritance of our fathers, and be added to the inheritance of the tribe whereamong they may be married; and from the lot of our inheritance will it be taken away.
4 Amola Bu Sagosu Ode (amoga liligi amola soge bidi lai da musa: gagui dunu ilima bu ahoa) amoga Siloufiha: de ea idiwilali ilia liligi da mae afadenema: ne, amo fi fawane ilia liligi ba: mu. Amola amo liligi da nini, Ma: na: se fi, amoga fisi dagoi ba: mu.”
And whenever the jubilee shall be to the children of Israel: then will their inheritance be added unto the inheritance of the tribe whereamong they may be married; and from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers will their inheritance be taken away.
5 Amaiba: le, Mousese da Isala: ili dunu ilima Hina Gode Ea hamoma: ne sia: i amo amane olelei, “Ma: na: se fi dunu ilia sia: i da dafawane.
And Moses commanded the children of Israel by the order of the Lord, saying, the tribe of the sons of Joseph have spoken well.
6 Amaiba: le, Hina Gode da amane sia: sa, ‘Siloufiha: de ea idiwilali da ilia hanai defele gawa fima: mu. Be ilia da ilia fidafa dunu fawane ilima fimu.
This is the thing which the Lord hath commanded concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, To those who are pleasing in their eyes may they become wives; however only to the family of the tribe of their father shall they become wives.
7 Isala: ili dunu huluane ilia liligi da ilila: fidafa ganodini dialumu.
And the inheritance of the children of Israel shall not pass from tribe to tribe; but the children of Israel shall adhere every one to the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.
8 Nowa uda da nana liligi amo lasea, e da ea fidafa dunu fawane ema fima: mu. Amo hamobeba: le, Isala: ili dunu huluane da ea aowalali edalalia nana liligi fawane lamu.
And every daughter that inheriteth any possession out of any tribe of the children of Israel, shall become the wife unto one of the family of the tribe of her father; in order that the children of Israel may inherit every one the inheritance of his fathers.
9 Liligi amola soge da eno fi ilima hame gaguli masunu. Fi huluane afae afae da ilila: liligi fawane gagulaligimu.’”
And no inheritance shall pass from one tribe to another tribe; but the tribes of the children of Israel shall adhere, every one, to his own inheritance.
10 Amaiba: le, Siloufiha: de ea idiwilali (Mala, Desa, Hogola amola Miliga) ilia da Hina Gode Ea Mousesema hamoma: ne sia: i defele hamoi. Ilia da ilia gawiya hamoi, ilima fawane gawa fi.
Even as the Lord had commanded Moses, so did the daughters of Zelophehad;
And Machlah, Tirzah, and Choglah, and Milcah, and No'ah, the daughters of Zelophehad became the wives of the sons of their uncles.
12 Ilia da Ma: na: se (Yousefe egefe) amo fi ganodini fawane gawa fi. Amalalu, ilia liligi amola soge da ilia ada ea fi ganodini dialusu.
[To persons] of the families of the sons of Menasseh the son of Joseph did they become wives, and their inheritance remained in the tribe of the family of their father.
13 Amo malasu amola sema dedei, amo Hina Gode da Isala: ili dunuma Mousese ea lafidili sia: ne i. Ilia da Moua: be umi, Yodane Hano eso midadi heda: su gusudili esala, amo sema huluane nabi. Amola Yeligou da hano ahoaba guma: dini dialebe ba: i. Sia: ama dagoi
These are the commandments and the ordinances, which the Lord commanded by the hand of Moses unto the children of Israel, in the plain of Moab by the Jordan opposite Jericho.
