< Idisu 22 >

1 Isala: ili dunu da bu asili, Moua: be umi soge amo Yodane Hano ea eso mabe la: idi, Yeligou moilai bai bagade la: idila la: idilale diala, amogawi ilia fisisu hamoi.
And they set out [the] people of Israel and they encamped in [the] plains of Moab from [the] other side of [the] Jordan of Jericho.
2 Moua: be hina bagade Ba: ila: ge (Sibo egefe), e da Isala: ili ilia hou amo A: moulaide dunuma hamoi amola ilia idi bagade nababeba: le,
And he saw Balak [the] son of Zippor all that it had done Israel to the Amorite[s].

And it was afraid Moab because of the people exceedingly for [was] numerous it and it felt dread Moab because of [the] people of Israel.

And it said Moab to [the] elders of Midian now they will lick up the company all around us as licks up the ox [the] greenery of the field and Balak [the] son of Zippor [was] king of Moab at the time that.
5 Amaiba: le, hina bagade Ba: ila: ge da sia: ne iasu dunu ilia Ba: ila: me (Bio egefe, e da Bidio moilai Amoue soge Iufala: idisi Hano gadenene esalu), amo dunu ema misa: ne sia: si. And he sent messengers to Balaam [the] son of Beor Pethor towards which [was] at the river [the] land of [the] sons of people his to summon him saying here! a people it has come out from Egypt here! it has covered [the] eye of the land and it [is] dwelling from in front of me.
6 Ilia idi da ninia idi baligi dagoi. Amaiba: le, di goeguda: misini, na fidima: ne ilima gagabusu aligima: ne ilegema. And therefore come! please curse! for me the people this for [is too] mighty it for me perhaps I will be able to strike it and I will drive out it from the land for I know [the one] whom you bless [is] blessed and [the one] whom you curse he is cursed.

And they went [the] elders of Moab and [the] elders of Midian and divinations [were] in hand their and they came to Balaam and they spoke to him [the] words of Balak.

And he came God to Balaam and he said who? [are] the men these with you.
10 Ba: ila: me da bu adole i, “Moua: be hina bagade Ba: ila: ge da ili nama amane olelema: ne asunasi,
And he said Balaam to God Balak [the] son of Zippor [the] king of Moab he sent to me.
11 ‘Dunu fi amo da Idibidi sogega misi da soge huluane amoga a: i ahoa. E da agoane hanai gala, amo na da gagubusu ilima aligima: ne ilegemu. Amasea, e da ilima doagala: le, gadili sefasimusa: dawa: mu.”
Here! the people which has come out from Egypt and it has covered [the] eye of the land now come! curse! for me it perhaps I will be able to engage in battle against it and I will drive out it.
12 Gode da Ba: ila: mema amane sia: i, “Amo dunu mae sigi masa! Amola Isala: ili fi dunu ilima gagabui aligima: ne mae ilegema! Bai Na da ilima hahawane dogolegele hou ilegele i dagoi.”
And he said God to Balaam not you will go with them not you will curse the people for [is] blessed it.
13 Golale, hahabe, Ba: ila: me da Ba: ila: ge ea sia: ne iasu dunuma asili, amane sia: i, “Dilia diasuga buhagima! Hina Gode da, na dili mae sigi masa: ne sia: i dagoi.”
And he arose Balaam in the morning and he said to [the] leaders of Balak go to land your for he has refused Yahweh to permit me to go with you.

And they arose [the] leaders of Moab and they went to Balak and they said he has refused Balaam to come with us.
15 Amalalu, Ba: ila: ge da sia: ne iasu dunu ilia idi da musa: asi dagoi, amo ilia hou da musa: asi hou ilia baligi, amo asunasi.
And he repeated again Balak to send leaders many and honored more than these.
16 Ilia da Ba: ila: mema asili, Ba: ila: ge ea sia: ema amane alofele i, “Na dima ha: giwane edegesa. Misa! Logo ga: su liligi mae dawa: ma!
And they came to Balaam and they said to him thus he says Balak [the] son of Zippor do not please let yourself be restrained from coming to me.
17 Na da bidi bagadewane dima imunu, amola dia hanai adole ba: su huluane hamomu. Na dima ha: giwane edegesa. Misa! Amola na fidima: ne amo Isala: ili dunu fi ilima gagabui aligima: ne ilegema.”
For surely I will honor you exceedingly and all that you will say to me I will do and come! please curse! for me the people this.
18 Be Ba: ila: me da bu adole i, “Ba: ila: ge da silifa amola gouli ea hina bagade diasu ganodini amo huluanedafa nama ianoba, na da Hina Gode Ea sia: fonobahadi afae fawane giadofamu da nama hamedei gala: loba.
And he answered Balaam and he said to [the] servants of Balak if he will give to me Balak [the] fullness of house his silver and gold not I will be able to transgress [the] mouth of Yahweh God my by doing a small [thing] or a large [thing].
19 Be dilia musa: misi dunu defele, wali gasia goeguda: esaloma. Bai na da Hina Godema bu adole ba: mu. Amabela: ? E da nama sia: eno ganabela: ?”
And now remain please in this [place] also you this night so let me know what? will he increase Yahweh to speak with me.

And he came God - to Balaam night and he said to him if to summon you they have come the men arise go with them and only the word which I will speak to you it you will do.

And it burned [the] anger of God for [was] going he and he stood [the] angel of Yahweh in the road to an adversary to him and he [was] riding on donkey his and two of servants his [were] with him.
23 Dougi da a: igele dunu gegesu gobihei bagade gaguliwane lelebe ba: beba: le, e da logo fisili, bu la: ididili sega sa: i. Ba: ila: me da ea dougi fananu, bu logoga logei.
And it saw the donkey [the] angel of Yahweh standing in the road and sword his [was] drawn in hand his and it turned aside the donkey from the road and it went in the field and he struck Balaam the donkey to turn it the road.
24 Amalalu, a:igele dunu da logo donoboi amo da waini efe sagai amo da igiga gagoi, amo dibiga asili, lelu.
And he stood [the] angel of Yahweh in [the] narrow way of the vineyards a wall from this and a wall from this.
25 Dougi da a: igele ba: beba: le, logo la: idi amoga bobogala: le, Ba: ila: me ea emo da igiga gagoi amo damana fanasili gigidinai. Ba: ila: me da bu enowane dougi fai.
And it saw the donkey [the] angel of Yahweh and it squeezed itself to the wall and it squeezed [the] foot of Balaam to the wall and he repeated to strike it.
26 A: igele da eno ba: le gaidi asili, donoboidafa logo sogebi, la: ididili amola la: ididili baligimu hamedei sogebi, amoga lelu.
And he increased [the] angel of Yahweh to pass on and he stood in a place narrow where there not [was] a way to turn aside right [hand] and left [hand].

And it saw the donkey [the] angel of Yahweh and it lay down under Balaam and it burned [the] anger of Balaam and he struck the donkey with the stick.
28 Amalalu, Hina Gode da dougi amoma, dunuga sia: be agoane sia: ma: ne, gasa i. Dougi da Ba: ila: mema amane sia: i, “Na da dima adi hamobela: ? Di da abuliba: le, na udiana agoane udigili fabela: ?”
And he opened Yahweh [the] mouth of the donkey and it said to Balaam what? have I done to you that you have struck me this three feet.
29 Ba: ila: me da bu adole i, “Bai di da na gagaoui dunu agoane ba: ma: ne, hamoi dagoi! Na da gegesu gobihei bagade gagui ganiaba, na da di medole legela: loba.”
And he said Balaam to the donkey that you have dealt wantonly with me if there [were] a sword in hand my that now I killed you.
30 Dougi da bu adole i, “Na da dia dougi amola dia esalusu ganodini di da eso huluane nama fila heda: le ahoanusu. Na da amo hou musa: dima hamobela: ?” Ba: ila: me da bu adole i, “Hame mabu!”
And it said the donkey to Balaam ¿ not [am] I donkey your which you have ridden on me from duration your until the day this ¿ really have I had [the] habit to do to you thus and he said no.
31 Amalalu, Hina Gode da Ba: ila: mema amo a: igele dunu gegesu gobihei bagade gaguiwane lelebe amo ba: ma: ne, e si doasi. Amalalu, Ba: ila: me da hina: odagi osoba guduli gala: lasa: i.
And he uncovered Yahweh [the] eyes of Balaam and he saw [the] angel of Yahweh standing in the road and sword his [was] drawn in hand his and he bowed low and he bowed down to face his.
32 A: igele da ema amane sia: i, “Dia abuliba: le udiana agoane dia dougi fabela: ? Na da dia logo hedofamusa: misi dagoi! Bai di da amodili masunu da defea hame galebe.
And he said to him [the] angel of Yahweh concerning what? did you strike female donkey your this three feet here! I I came out to an adversary for it is precipitate the way to before me.
33 Be dia dougi da na ba: lalu udiana agoane sinidigi. E da agoai hame hamosa ganiaba, na da di fane legela: loba, amola dougi hame fane legela: loba.”
And it saw me the donkey and it turned aside before me this three feet perhaps it had turned aside from before me if now also you I killed and it I preserved alive.
34 Ba: ila: me da bu adole i, “Na da wadela: le hamoi dagoi. Di da na logo hedofamusa: logoga lelu, na da hame dawa: i galu. Be di da na bu masunu da defea hame dawa: sea, na da na diasuga buhagimu.”
And he said Balaam to [the] angel of Yahweh I have sinned for not I knew that you [were] standing to meet me in the road and therefore if [it is] displeasing in view your I will turn back for myself.
35 Be a: igele da ema amane sia: i, “Di mae buhagili, amo dunu sigi masa. Be na dima adomu liligi fawane sia: ma!” Amaiba: le, Ba: ila: me da Moua: be ouligisu dunu amola bu sigi asi.
And he said [the] angel of Yahweh to Balaam go with the men and only the word which I will speak to you it you will speak and he went Balaam with [the] leaders of Balak.
36 Ba: ila: ge da Ba: ila: me ea manebe sia: nababeba: le, e da A moilai bai bagade (Anone Hano bega: amola Moua: be soge alalo amoga dialu) amoga Ba: ila: me yosia: musa: asi.
And he heard Balak that he had come Balaam and he went out to meet him to [the] city of Moab which [is] on [the] border of Arnon which [is] at [the] end of the territory.
37 Ba: ila: ge da Ba: ila: mema amane sia: i, “Dia abuliba: le na da musa: misa: ne sia: i amoga hame misibala: ? Dia adi dawa: bela: ? Na da dima bidi defele imunu hamedebela: ?”
And he said Balak to Balaam ¿ not certainly did I send to you to summon you why? not did you come to me ¿ really not am I able to honor you.
38 Ba: ila: me da bu adole i, “Na da wali misi dagoi! Dafawanela: ? Be na da gasa hamedei. Na da Gode Ea nama sia: i liligi fawane sia: mu, amo fawane gasa gala.”
And he said Balaam to Balak here! I have come to you now ¿ certainly am I able to speak anything the word which he will put God in mouth my it I will speak.
39 Amalalu, Ba: ila: me amola Ba: ila: ge da Gilia: de Husode moilai amoga asili,
And he went Balaam with Balak and they came Kiriath-huzoth.
40 Ba: ila: ge da bulamagau amola sibi medole legele, amo ea hu mogili Ba: ila: me amola ouligisu dunu amo ili gilisili moma: ne ema i.
And he sacrificed Balak cattle and sheep and he sent to Balaam and to the leaders who [were] with him.
41 Golale, hahabe, Ba: ila: ge da Ba: ila: me amo Ba: imode Ba: ile (gado sogebi) amoga oule asi. Amoga, Ba: ila: me da Isala: ili fi dunu mogili ba: musa: dawa: i.
And it was in the morning and he took Balak Balaam and he brought up him Bamoth Baal and he saw from there [the] outskirt[s] of the people.
