1 Esela amola gobele salasu dunu da Mousese ea Sema amo Isala: ili dunu ilima idilaloba, ilia da sema afae ba: i dagoi. Amo da A: mone fi dunu amola Moua: be fi dunu da wali amola hobea eso huluanedafa amo Gode Ea fi dunu ilima da hamedafa madelagimu.
On that day there was read in the book of Moses before the ears of the people; and there was found written therein, that no 'Ammonite or Moabite should come into the congregation of God for ever;
2 Bai A: mone amola Moua: be fi dunu ilia da Isala: ili dunu da Idibidi soge amoga fisili masa: ne, logoga ahoanoba, ilima ha: i manu amola hano hame i. Because they had not met the children of Israel with bread and with water, but had hired Bil'am against them, that he should curse them; although our God had changed the curse into a blessing.
3 Isala: ili dunu da amo sema idibi nabaloba, ilia ga fi dunu ilia fi amoga mae gilisima: ne ilegele sia: i.
And it tame to pass, when they had heard the law, that they separated all the alien mixture from Israel.
4 Gobele salasu dunu Ilaiasibi da Debolo modale ligisisu diasu ouligisu. E da eso bagohame Doubaia amo hahawane ba: i.
And before this, Elyashib the priest, appointed over the chambers of the house of our God, and a near [of kin] unto Tobiyah,
5 Debolo modale ligisisu amo ganodini, sesei afae bagade ba: i. Amo sesei da iasu liligi amo gagoma, gabusiga: manoma, Debolo hawa: hamosu liligi, amola liligi amo gobele salasu dunuma i amola ‘daide’ (gagoma, waini hano amola olife susuligi) amo da Lifai dunu amola Debolo gesami hea: su dunu amola Debolo sosodo aligisu dunu ilima iasu, amo liligi ligisima: ne amo sesei da ilegei dagoi. Be Ilaiasibi da amo sesei Doubaia amo ganodini esaloma: ne iasu.
Had prepared for him a large chamber, where they had laid in former times the meat-offerings, the frankincense, and the vessels, and the tithes of the corn, the new wine, and the oil, which was ordained for the Levites, and the singers, and the gatekeepers, and the heave-offering of the priests.
6 Amo hou hamonanoba, na da Yelusaleme moilai amo ganodini hame esalebe ba: i. Bai Adasegesisi ea Ba: bilone ouligisu ode 32 amoga, na da ema sia: sia: ne iasu ima: ne, ema buhagi. Na da ouesalu, amalalu e da na Yuda sogega bu masa: ne logo doasi.
But during all this I was not at Jerusalem; for in the two and thirtieth year of Artaxerxes the king of Babylon I went back unto the king, and after the lapse of some time I obtained by request [leave] of the king;

And I came to Jerusalem, and perceived the evil that Elyashib had done for Tobiyah, in preparing for him a chamber in the courts of the house of God.

And it displeased me greatly: wherefore I cast forth all the household vessels of Tobiyah away out of the chamber.
9 Na da hawa: hamosu dunuma ilia da amo Debolo sesei Gode Ea sema defele noga: le dodofema: ne sia: i. Bai ledo bagade galebeba: le, Debolo hawa: hamosu liligi, gagoma iasu amola gabusiga: manoma bu legemu da hamedei. Be ilia da amo liligi dodofei dagoiba: le, bu legei.
And I gave the order, whereupon they cleansed the chambers; and I had brought thither again the vessels of the house of God, with the meat-offering and the frankincense.
10 Amola na da nabi amo Debolo gesami hea: su dunu amola Lifai dunu mogili da Yelusaleme moilai fisili, ilia ifabi amoga buhagi dagoi. Bai dunu da ilia ha: i manu amola labe defele ilima hame iasu.
And I perceived that the portions of the Levites had not been given [them]: so that the Levites and the singers, that used to do the work, were fled every one to his field.
11 Ouligisu dunu da Debolo diasu noga: le hame ouligibiba: le, na da ilima gagabole sia: i. Amola na da Lifai dunu amola Debolo gesami hea: su dunu amo huluane Debolo diasuga bu oule misini, ilima bu hawa: hamoma: ne sia: i.
Then contended I with the rulers, and said, Why hath the house of God become forsaken? And I gathered them together, and placed them on their posts.
12 Amalalu, Isala: ili dunu da bu ilia gagoma, waini amola olife susuligi amo ‘daide’ huluane ilia da Debolo modale ligisisu sesei amoga bu gaguli misi.
And all Judah brought the tithe of the corn and the new wine and the oil unto the treasuries.
13 Amola na da hagudu dedei dunu amo modale ligisisu diasuga ouligimusa: ilegei dagoi, amo, gobele salasu dunu Sielemaia, sema dawa: su dunu Sa: idoge amola Lifai dunu Bida: ia. Amola ilia fidisu dunu Ha: ina: ne (Sa: ge ea mano amola Ma: danaia ea aowa) amo na da ilegei. Amo dunu ilia hou da moloiba: le, ilia da liligi mae wamolale, ilia na: iyado hawa: hamosu dunuma imunu, na da dawa: i galu.
And I appointed receivers over the treasuries, Shelemyah the priest and Zadok the scribe, and Pedayah of the Levites; and with them acted Chanan the son of Zaccur, the son of Matthanyah; for they were accounted as faithful, and it was their duty to make a distribution among their brethren.
14 ‘Na Gode! Dawa: ma! Na da Dia Debolo amola Dima nodone sia: ne gadosu hou bagade fidima: ne hamoi. Amo Di ba: ma!’
Remember me, O my God, concerning this, and wipe not out my pious deeds which I have done for the house of my God, and for those that had charge of it.
15 Amo esoga na da Yuda fi dunu Sa: bade esoga hawa: hamonanebe ba: i. Mogili ilia da waini hano lama: ne, waini fage ososa: gisu. Mogili da gagoma, waini, figi fage amola liligi eno amo ilia dougi da: iya lidili legelalebe, na da ba: i. Ilia da amo liligi Yelusaleme moilai bai bagadega gaguli masusa: dawa: i. Na da ilima Sa: bade eso amoga liligi mae bidi lama: ne sisane sia: i.
In those days I saw in Judah some treading wine-presses on the sabbath, and bringing in sheaves, and lading burdens on asses, as also wine, grapes and figs, and all manner of burdens, which they brought into Jerusalem on the sabbath day; and I warned them on the day whereon they sold provisions.

Also the men of Tyre [that] dwelt therein brought fish and all kinds of wares, and sold [them] on the sabbath unto the children of Judah and in Jerusalem.
17 Na da Yu ouligisu dunuma gagabole amane sia: i, “Dilia da wadela: le hamonana. Dilia da hadigi Sa: bade eso amo wadela: sa.
Then I contended with the nobles of Judah, and said unto them, What evil thing is this which ye are doing, and profaning [thereby] the sabbath day?
18 Amo baiga Gode da musa: Yelusaleme moilai bai bagade wadela: lesi dagoi amola dilia aowalali ilima se dabe bagade iasu. Be dilia da Gode da Isala: ili dunuma bu ougima: ne, Sa: bade eso wadela: sa,” na gagabole sia: i.
Did not your fathers act thus, wherefore our God brought over us all this evil, and over this city? and ye bring yet more wrath over Israel by profaning the sabbath.
19 Amaiba: le, Sa: bade eso huluane da muni, daeya agoane, ilia da moilai logo ga: sima: ne na da sia: i. Amalalu, Sa: bade eso da dagobeba: le fawane bu doasima: ne sia: i. Na da na hawa: hamosu dunu mogili ilia logo ga: su sosodo aligima: ne sia: i. Dunu da Sa: bade eso amoga liligi ganodini mae gaguli misa: ne, agoane hamoi.
And it came to pass, that, when the shadows were lengthened in the gates of Jerusalem before the sabbath, I gave the order, whereupon the gates were locked, and I ordered that they should not be opened till after the sabbath: and some of my young men did I place at the gates, that there should be brought in no burden on the sabbath-day.
20 Eso afae afae bidi lasu dunu mogili da Falaida: i gasi amoga moilai gagoi amoga gadili esalebe ba: i.
But the merchants and sellers of all kinds of wares lodged outside of Jerusalem once or twice.
21 Na da ilima sisasu amane olelei, “Dilia da abuliba: le hahabe misa: ne ouligisala: ? Dilia amo hou bu hamosea, na da dilima doagala: musa: misunu.” Amalalu, ilia da Sa: bade esoga bu hame misi.
Thereupon did I warn them, and said unto them, Why do ye lodge along the wall? if ye do so again, I will lay hands on you. From that time forth they came no more on the sabbath.
22 Na da Lifai dunuma amo ilia da ilia ledo hou dodofelalu, Sa: bade eso mae wadela: ma: ne, ilia da logo ga: su amo sosodo aligima: ne sia: i. Gode! Amo amola dawa: ma! Di da asigi bagadeba: le, na gaga: ma.
And I ordered the Levites that they should cleanse themselves, and that they should come and keep watch at the gates, to sanctify the sabbath-day. Also this remember unto me, O my God, and shield me according to the abundance of thy kindness.
23 Amola amo esoga, Yu dunu mogili ilia da A: siedode, A:mone amola Moua: be soge amodili uda lai dagoi, na nabi.
In those days also I saw certain Jews that had brought home wives of Ashdod, of 'Ammon, and of Moab:
24 Ilia mano mogili da A: siedode sia: o ga fi sia: fawane sia: su. Ilia da ninia Isala: ili sia: hame dawa: i galu.
And their children spoke partly in the speech of Ashdod, and did not understand to speak in the Jewish language, but according to the language of one or the other people.
25 Na da amo dunuma gagabole sia: i. Na da Gode da ilima gagabusu aligima: ne sia: i. Na da ili fasu amola ilia dialuma hinabo golole fasi. Amalalu, na da sia: beba: le, ilia da Gode Ea Dioba: le, ilia amola ilia mano da ga fi uda eno hamedafa lamu ilegele sia: i.
And I contended with them, and cursed them, and smote certain of them, and plucked out their hair, and made them swear by God, saying, Ye shall not give your daughters unto their sons, nor take their daughters for your sons, nor for yourselves.
26 Na amane sia: i. “Hina bagade Soloumane da ga fi uda laiba: le, wadela: le bagade hamosu. Soloumane da fifi asi gala huluane ilia hina bagade baligi dagoi. Gode da e dogolegeiba: le, e Isala: ili soge huluane ouligima: ne, hina bagade hamoi. Be e da dafane, wadela: le hamoi dagoi.
Did not Solomon the king of Israel sin by these things? and although among the many nations there was never a king like him, and beloved as he was by his God, and God had placed him as king over all Israel: nevertheless even him did the alien women mislead to sin.
27 Amaiba: le, ninia da dilia hou defele, Gode Ea sia: mae nabawane ga fi uda lamu da defeala: ? Defea hame mabu!”
Shall we then hear it said of you, that ye do all this great evil, to trespass against our God in bringing home alien wives?
28 Yoiada da gobele salasu Ouligisu Ilaiasibi, amo ea mano esalu. Be Yoiada egefe afae da Sa: naba: la: de (ea moilai da Bede Houlone) amo ea uda mano lai. Amaiba: le, na da Yoiada ema Yelusaleme moilai fisili masa: ne sia: i. Amola e da mugululi asi.
And one of the sons of Joyada', the son of Elyashib the high priest, was son-in-law to Sanballat the Choronite; wherefore I chased him away from me.
29 Hina Gode! Dawa: ma! Amo dunu ilia da gobele salasu hou ilegei amo wadela: lesi dagoi amola gousa: su di da Lifai amola gobele salasu dunu ilima hamoi, amo wadela: lesi.
Remember [this] unto them, O my God, because of the defilements of the priesthood, and of the covenant of the priesthood, and of the Levites.
30 Na da Isala: ili dunu hadigi ba: ma: ne, ledo hou amola liligi huluane fadegai. Lifai amola gobele salasu dunu ilia hawa: hamosu noga: le dawa: ma: ne, na da ilia hawa: hamosu sema dedei.
Thus cleansed I them from all aliens, and I appointed the watches of the priests and the Levites, every one in his work;
31 Na da lalu ifa amo Godema gobele salasu hamoma: ne, amo ilia da eso ilegei amoga gaguli misa: ne sia: i. Amola dunu huluane da ilia bisili fai gagoma amola ifa fage gaguli misa: ne sia: i. Hina Gode! Amo na hou huluane dawa: ma! Amola nama hahawane hamoma: ne ilegema! Sia: ama dagoi
And for the procuring of the wood, at fixed time, and for the first-fruits. Remember this unto me, O my God, for good.
