1 Amo galu, Yesu da Sa: bade esoga gagoma sagai soge amo ganodini lalu. Ea ado ba: su dunu da ha: iba: le, gagoma oso faili nanu.
At that time Jesus was going, on the Sabbath, through the fields of grain; and his disciples were hungry, and began to pull the ears of grain, and to eat.
2 Amo hou ba: beba: le, Fa: lisi dunu da Yesuma amane sia: i, “Ba: ma! Dia ado ba: su dunu da Sa: bade eso sema wadela: sa!”
But when the Pharisees saw it, they said to him: Behold, your disciples are doing what it is not lawful to do on the Sabbath.
3 Yesu da bu adole i, “Dilia da Da: ibidi amola ea na: iyado ilia ha: iba: le hamoi amohame idibala: ?
But he said to them: Have you not read what David did, when he and those who were with him were hungry?
4 E da Gode Ea diasu ganodini golili sa: ili, agi ga: gi amo da Godema i dagoi, e amola ea fa: no bobogesu dunu da lale mai dagoi. Musa: goe agi ga: gi da sema bagade galu. Gobele salasu dunu fawane nasu.
how he entered the house of God, and ate the loaves of the presence, which it was not lawful for him to eat, nor for those who were with him, but for the priests only?
5 Dilia Gode Sia: Dedei Buga hame idibala: ? Gobele salasu dunu da Sa: bade eso huluane Debolo Diasu ganodini Sa: bade Sema wadela: sa. Be amo da wadela: i hou hame.
Or, have you not read in the law that on the Sabbath-days the priests in the temple profane the Sabbath, and are blameless?
6 Na da dilima sia: sa! Debolo Diasu ea hou baligisu Dunu da wali guiguda: esala.
But I say to you, that something greater than the temple is here.
7 Gode Sia: da agoane dedei diala, ‘Na da ohe gobele salasu hou hame, be asigi gogolema: ne olofosu hou fawane hanasa!’ Dilia da amo sia: dawa: i ganiaba, dilia da dunu ida: iwane Ema hame fofada: la: loba.
But if you had known what this means―I desire mercy, and not sacrifice―you would not have condemned the blameless.
8 Bai Dunu Egefe da Sa: bade eso amoma Hina esala.”
For the Son of man is Lord of the Sabbath.
9 Amo soge yolesili, Yesu da ilia sinagoge diasu ganodini golili sa: i.
And he departed thence, and went into their synagogue.
10 Dunu afae amo ea lobo lologoi dialu amo diasu ganodini esalebe ba: i. Dunu eno ilia da Yesu dafama: ne ado ba: musa: dawa: beba: le, amane sia: i, “Sa: bade eso amoga, dunu da uhinisu hou hamosea, e da ninia Sema wadela: sala: ?”
And behold, a man was there that had a withered hand. And they asked him, saying: Is it lawful to cure on the Sabbath-days? that they might accuse him.
11 Yesu da bu adole i, “Dilia da Sa: bade esoga sibi da uli dogoi ganodini dafasea, adi hamoma: bela: ? Sibi ea eda da bu hiougili gadoma: bela: ? Dafawane! E da fidimu!
And he said to them: What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if this fall into a pit on the Sabbath-day, will he not lay hold on it and lift it out?
12 Be dunu ea esalusu da sibi ea esalusu amo baligi dagoi. Amaiba: le, ninia Sema amo ganodini, Sa: bade esoga hawa: hamosu noga: iwane hamomu da defea.”
How much better, then, is a man than a sheep! So it is lawful to do well on the Sabbath-days.

Then he said to the man: Stretch forth your hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored to soundness, like the other.

But the Pharisees went out and took counsel against him, that they might destroy him.

But Jesus perceived it, and withdrew from that place. And many multitudes followed him, and he cured them all.
16 E da ilima amo hou eno dunuma mae olelema: ne sia: i.
And he charged them not to make him known;
17 Amo hou hamoiba: le, musa: balofede dunu Aisaia ea sia: da didili hamoi dagoi ba: i.
that the word might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying:
18 Aisaia da musa: amane sia: i, “Na hawa: hamosu dunu Na ilegei, amo ba: ma! E da na dogolegeidafa! Na da Na A: silibu Ema imunu. Na da dunu fifi asi gala huluane ilima fofada: musa: misunu. E da ilima amo hou olelemu.
Be hold, my servant whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul delights. I will put my Spirit upon him, and he shall declare law to the Gentiles.

He shall not contend, nor cry out; nor shall any one hear his voice in the streets.
20 E da saga: baea: i da hame fimu. Hanu ea lalu gona: su da usimusa: ba: sea, E da amo hame haba: domu. E da mae yolesili hawa: hamonanumu. Moloidafa hou da doaga: beba: le fawane yolesimu.
A bruised reed he shall not break, and a smoking wick he shall not extinguish, till he shall send forth his law for conquest.
21 Dunu fifi asi gala da Ea hou lalegaguiba: le, ilia da hobea misunu hou dafawane hamoma: beyale dawa: mu.”
And in his name shall the Gentiles trust.
22 Ilia da dunu afae amo ea dogo ganodini wadela: i a: silibu da aligila sa: iba: le si dofoi amola sia: hamedei gala, amo Yesuma oule misi. Yesu da amo dunu uhinisi dagoi. Amalalu, e da bu ba: i amola bu sia: baoui.
Then was brought to him a demoniac, blind and dumb: and he cured him, so that the blind and dumb man both spoke and saw.
23 Dunu huluane da amo hou ba: beba: le bagadewane fofogadigi. Ilia da amane adole ba: i, “Amabela: ? Amo dunu da Da: ibidi Egefela: ?”
And all the people were amazed, and said: Is not this the son of David?

But the Pharisees, when they heard it, said: This man does not cast out the demons, unless by Beelzebul, the prince of the demons.

But Jesus, knowing their thoughts, said to them: Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation. And no city or house divided against itself shall stand.

And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how then shall his kingdom stand?

And if I cast out demons by Beelzebul, by whom do your sons cast them out? For this reason, they shall be your judges.

But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has already come upon you.

Or, how can any one enter the house of the strong man and spoil his goods, unless he first bind the strong man? and then he will plunder his house.

He that is not with me, is against me; and he that gathers not with me, scatters.

Therefore I say to you, That every sin and impious speech shad be forgiven men: but the impious speech against the Spirit shall not be forgiven men.

And whoever shall speak a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whoever shall speak against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, either in the present age, or in that which is to come. (aiōn g165)
33 Ifa ida: iwane gala da dulu ida: iwane legesa. Wadela: i ifa da dulu wadela: i gala legesa. Dunu da ifa ea dulu ba: sea, ilia da amo ifa ea hou dawa: sa.
Either make the tree good, and its fruit good; or make the tree unsound, and its fruit unsound. For by the fruit the tree is known.
34 Dilia wadela: i sania fi! Dilia hou da wadela: iba: le, ida: iwane sia: habodane sia: ma: bela? Dunu ilia lafidili sia: da hidadea ilia dogoga maha.
Generation of vipers, how can you, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.
35 Dunu ida: iwane gala da ida: iwane ligisisu amoga liligi ida: iwane olelesa. Be wadela: i dunu da wadela: i ligisisu amoga wadela: i liligi olelesa.
The good man, out of his good treasury, brings forth good things; and the evil man, out of his evil treasury, brings forth evil things.
36 Na dilima sia: sa. Fofada: su Eso doaga: sea, dunu huluane ilia lafidili udigili sia: i huludafa amoba: le Na da fofada: mu.
But I say to you, That for every idle word which men speak, they shall give account in the day of judgment.
37 Dilia sia: sia: beba: le, fofada: sea, Fofada: su Dunu da dili mogili da wadela: le hamoi, mogili da hou ida: iwane hamoi, amane ilegemu.”
For by your words you shall be justified, and by your words you shall be condemned.
38 Amalalu, Sema olelesu dunu amola Fa: lisi dunu da Yesuma amane sia: i, “Olelesu! Di da gasa bagade dawa: digima: ne olelesu hamoma!”
Then some of the scribes and Pharisees answered and said: Teacher, we wish to see a sign from you.
39 Yesu E bu adole i, “Wadela: i fi amola dabua fawane molole ogogosu fi ilia da dawa: digima: ne olelesu hogosa. Be Na da dawa: digima: ne olelesu dilima hame imunu. Youna fawane ea dawa: digima: ne olelesu dawa: ma!
But he answered and said to them: A wicked and adulterous generation seeks for a sign; and no sign shall be given to it, but the sign of Jonah the prophet.
40 Youna da eso udiana amola gasi udiana, menabo bagade ea hagomo ganodini dialu. Amo defele, Dunu Egefe da osobo ea dogo ganodini eso udiana amola gasi udiana dialumu.
For as Jonah was three days and three nights in the belly of the great fish, so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
41 Fofada: su Eso doaga: sea, Ninife dunu da dilima fofada: mu. Bai ilia da Youna ea sia: nababeba: le, gogosiane, Godema sinidigi. Be Dunu waha esala, da Youna ea hou baligi dagoi.
Tho men of Nineveh shall rise in the judgment with this generation, and condemn it; for they repented in accordance with the preaching of Jonah; and behold, something greater than Jonah is here.

The queen of the south shall rise in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it; for she came from the most distant parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and behold, something greater than Solomon is here.

When the unclean spirit has gone out of a man, he goes through dry places seeking rest, and finds none.
44 Amasea e da amane sia: sa, ‘Na da na musa: diasuga bu hagimu!’ Sia: beba: le, bu doaga: sea, ea diasu gelabai amola noga: le doga: i dagoi ba: sa.
Then he says: I will return to my house, out of which I came. And he comes and finds it empty, swept, and set in order.
45 Amaiba: le, e da bu gadili asili, a:silibu eno fesuale gala, ilia hou da ea wadela: i hou baligisa, amo lidili, ilia gilisili ganodini fila sa: imu. Amaiba: le goe dunu ea hou da bagade baligili bu wadela: mu. Waha dunu fi esala da amo hou ilima doaga: i dagoi ba: mu.”
Then he goes and takes with himself seven other spirits more wicked than himself; and they enter in and dwell there. And the last state of that man is worse than the first. So shall it be with this wicked generation.

While he was yet speaking to the multitudes, behold, his mother and his brothers stood without, desiring to speak to him.
47 Dunu afae da Yesuma amane sia: i, “Dia: me amola Diaeya da Dima sia: musa: gadili lela.”
And some one said to him: Behold, your mother and your brothers stand without, desiring to speak to you.
48 Be Yesu E bu adole i, “Na: me amola Naeya da nowala: ?”
But he answered and said to him that told him: Who is my mother? and who are my brothers?
49 Amalu, E da Ea ado ba: su dunuma lobosogole amane sia: i, “Na: me amola Naeya da goea.
And he stretched out his hand toward his disciples, and said: Behold my mother and my brothers.

For whoever will do the will of my Father who is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
