1 Hahabedafa, gobele salasu hina dunu, asigilai dunu amola sema olelesu dunu da Yesu fuga: ma: ne, gilisili fofada: i. Amalalu, ilia da Yesu afugili, sia: nega la: gili, Bailade ea diasuga hiouginana asili, ema i.
And, straightway, early, when they had made, a council, the High-priest, with the Elders, and Scribes, and all the High-council, binding Jesus, led him away, and delivered him up unto Pilate.
2 Bailade da Yesuma amane adole ba: i, “Di da Yu dunu ilia Hina esalabela: ?” Yesu E bu adole i, “Di sia: be gowane goa!”
And Pilate questioned him—Art, thou, the king of the Jews? And, he, answering him, saith—Thou, sayest.
3 Gobele salasu hina dunu huluane da Yesuma halalewane, diwaneya udidi.
And the High-priests began to accuse him, of many things.
4 Amaiba: le, Bailade da Yesuma bu amane adole ba: i, “Di abuliba: le bu hame adole iabela: ? Ilia Dima diwaneya udidibi amo nabima!”
And, Pilate, again, was questioning him, [saying]—Answerest thou, nothing? See! of how many things, they are accusing thee!
5 Be Yesu E da hamedafa bu adole iabeba: le, Bailade da fofogadigi.
But, Jesus, no further, answered, anything, so that Pilate began to marvel.
6 Ode huluane, Baligisu Lolo Nasu eso amoga, Bailade da agoane hou hamosu. E da se iasu diasu ganodini sali dunu afadafa amo ea logo doasisu.
Now, at feast time, he was wont to release unto them one prisoner, whom they were claiming.
7 Amo odega, hohonosu amola wamolasu dunu ea dio amo Bala: ba: se amo da se iasu diasu ganodini esalu.
And there was the so-called Barabbas, with the rebels, bound, even with them who, in the rebellion, had committed, murder.
8 Amalalu, dunu huluane da Bailadema doaga: beba: le, e da ea ode huluane hamosu bu hamoma: ne sia: beba: le,
And, going up, the multitude began to be claiming—according as he was wont to do for them.
9 Bailade da amane sia: i, “Na da Yu dunu fi ilia Hina Bagade ea se iasu logo doasima: bela: ?”
But, Pilate, answered them, saying—Will ye, I release unto you, the King of the Jews?
10 Bai gobele salasu dunu ilia da mudale, mi hanaiba: le Yesu afugili misi, amo hou e dawa: i galu.
For he was getting to know that, for envy, had [the High-priests] delivered him up.
11 Be gobele salasu ouligisu dunu ilia da gasa fili, dunu huluane gilisi amo ougima: ne wili gala: beba: le, dunu huluane ilia Bala: ba: se ea se iasu logo doasima: ne halasu.
But, the High-priests, stirred up the multitude, that, rather Barabbas, he should release unto them.
12 Amalalu, Bailade da ilima bu adole ba: i, “Amaiba: le, amo dunu, dilia Yu Hina Bagade dio asuli, na da Ema adi hamoma: bela: ?”
But, Pilate, again answering, was saying unto them—What then shall I do with him whom ye call, the King of the Jews?
13 Ilia da ema halale sia: i, “E bulufalegeiga fuga: ma!”
And, they, again, cried out—Crucify him!
14 Bailade da ilima bu adole ba: i, “Abuliba: le? E da adi wadela: i hou hamobela: ?” Be ilia gasa bagadewane halasu, “E bulufalegeiga medole legema!”
But, Pilate, was saying unto them—Why! what, evil, hath he done? And, they, vehemently, cried out—Crucify him!
15 Amaiba: le, Bailade da dunu huluane ema hahawane ba: ma: ne, Bala: ba: se ea se iasu logo doasi dagoi. Amalalu, ea sia: beba: le, ilia da Yesu efe fegasuga fai. Amalalu, e da Yesu bulufalegeiga fuga: ma: ne, ea dadi gagui dunuma iasi.
And Pilate, being minded to do what would satisfy, the multitude, released unto them Barabbas, and delivered up Jesus, having scourged him, that he should be crucified.
16 Amalalu, Bailade ea dadi gagui dunu ilia da Yesu amo Gamane hina ea diasu gagoi ganodini oule asi. Ilia da dadi gagui huluane gilisima: ne sia: i.
And, the soldiers, led him away, inside the court, which is a judgment-hall, —and called together the whole band;
17 Amalalu, ilia da Ea abula fadegale, yoi abula ea da: iga idiniginisi. Ilia da aya: gaga: nomei lale, amoga habuga sisiga: le amuli, Ea dialumaga figisi.
and they array him in purple, and set upon him, when they have plaited it; a crown of thorns, —
18 Ilia da Ema oufesega: ne, lobo fofaiale, amane sia: i, “Yu dunu ilia Hina Bagade dunu mae bogole, ode bagohame esalumu da defea.”
and began to be saluting him—Joy to thee! King of the Jews!
19 Ilia da Ea dialuma saga: ga fai. Ilia da Ema defo adugagala: i amola muguni bugili, bu habosesei.
and were striking him on the head with a reed, and were spitting at him, —and, bowing their knees, were doing him homage.
20 Oufesega: i dagobeba: le, ilia da Ema yoi abula fadegale, ea abuladafa bu idiniginisi. Amalalu, ilia da Yesu bulufalegeiga fuga: musa: , hiouginana asi.
And, when they had mocked him, they put off him, the purple, and put on him, his own garments. And they lead him forth, that they may crucify him.
21 Ilia da logoga asili, Sailini soge dunu ea dio amo Saimone logoga ahoanebe ba: i. Amo dunu ea mano ela dio amo A: legesa: nede amola Lufase. E da ea soge yolesili, moilai bai bagadega manebe ba: i. Dadi gagui dunu ilia da Saimone amo Yesu Ea bulufalegei lale, gisa masa: ne logei.
And they impress a certain passer-by, Simon a Cyrenian, coming from a field, the father of Alexander and Rufus, —that he may carry his cross.
22 Ilia da Yesu Gologoudia sogebiga hiouginana asili doaga: i. Gologoudia dawa: loma: ne da “Dialuma gasa sogebi.”
And they bring him unto the Golgotha place, which is, being translated, Skull-place.
23 Ilia waini hano amola gamogai manoma gilisili, Yesuma moma: ne imunusa: dawa: i. Be Yesu E hame mai.
And they would have given him, myrrhed wine, —who, however, received it not.
24 Ilia da Yesu bulufalegeiga dabagala: i. Ilia da Ea abula huluane lama: ne, igi fonobahadi amoga ululuale hedei.
And they crucify him, and part asunder his garments, casting a lot upon them—who should have anything.
25 Ilia da hahabe ‘9 ougologe’ agoaneYesu bulufalegeiga dabagala: i.
And it was the third hour, and they crucified him.
26 Yesuma diwaneya udidisu da agoane dedene legei ba: i, “Yu fi ilia Hina Bagade.”
And the inscription of his accusation, had been inscribed—THE KING OF THE JEWS.
27 Wamolasu dunu aduna, ela amola Yesu ili gilisili eno bulufalegeiga dabagala: i dagoi ba: i. Afae da Ea lobodafadili amola afae da Ea lobo fofadidili ba: i.
And, with him, they crucify, two robbers, one on his right hand, and one on his left.
28 Amaiba: le, Gode Ea sia: agoane dedei diala, “E da sema wadela: su dunu ilia se iasu defele ba: i!”, amo sia: defele hamoi dagoi ba: i.
29 Baligili ahoasu dunu da ahoasea, ilia dialuma fofoga: ne amane sia: i, “Ai! Di da Debolo Diasu mugululi, eso udiana fawane hawa: hamone bu gagumu sia: beba: le,
And, the passers-by, were reviling him, shaking their heads, and saying—Aha! thou who wast pulling down the shrine, and building one in three days!
30 Wali bulufalegei fisili, moiga gudu sa: ima! Disu Di gobele gaga: ma!”
Save thyself, —coming down from the cross.
31 Gobele salasu hina dunu amola sema olelesu dunu da gilisili oufesega: ne, amane sia: dasu, “E da eno dunu gaga: i galu. Be Hi da: i Hi gaga: mu da hamedei ba: sa.
Likewise, the High-priests also, mocking one to another, with the Scribes, were saying—Others, he saved, himself, he cannot save!
32 Mesaia, Isala: ili Hina Bagade da wahadafa gudu sa: imu da defea! Amasea, ninia da Ea hou dafawaneyale dawa: mu.” Wadela: i hamosu dunu aduna, eno bulufalegeiga dabagala: i amola, ela da Yesuma lasogole sia: i.
The Christ, the King of Israel—let him come down now from the cross, that we may see and believe. And, they who had been crucified with him, were casting it in his teeth.
33 Esomogoa, eso ea hadigi da dedeboi dagoi ba: i. Aua udiana amoga, gasi fawane ba: i.
And, when it was the sixth hour, darkness, came on all the land—until the ninth hour;
34 Amalalu, ‘3 ougologe’ agoane, Yesu E bagade wele sia: i, “Ilouai! Ilouai! Lama sabagadanai?” Amo sia: dawa: loma: ne da, “Na Gode! Na Gode! Dia abuliba: le Na yolesibala: ?”
and, at the ninth hour, Jesus, uttered a cry, with a loud voice—Eloi! Eloi! lama sabachthanei? which is, being translated—My God! [My God!] to what end, didst thou forsake me?
35 Dunu gadenene lelu, mogili ilia amane sia: i, “E da Elaidia misa: ne wele sia: sa!”
And, some of the by-standers, having heard, were saying—See! Elijah, he calleth!
36 Dunu afae da hehenane, hano nasu abula lale, waini hano ganodini gele, amalu daguluga gosagili, Yesu moma: ne, Ema iasu. E amane sia: i, “Waha aligima! Elaidia da E bulufalegeiga lale gudula misa: bela: ? Ninia da ba: mu!”
And one, running, filled a sponge with vinegar, and, putting it about a reed, was giving him to drink, saying—Stay! let us see whether Elijah is coming, to take him down!
37 Yesu da bu bagade wele sia: nanu, bogoi dagoi.
But, Jesus, sending out a loud voice, ceased to breathe.
38 Amalalu, abula bagade Debolo Diasu ganodini gaga: ma: ne dialu, da gadodili gadelale, gudu fada: ne fasili, adunawane ba: i.
And, the veil of the Temple, was rent into two, from top to bottom.
39 Gamane dadi gagui hina dunu amo da Yesu Ea ba: le gaidili lelu. E da Yesu Ea bogoi ba: beba: le, amane sia: i, “Dafawane! Amo dunu da Gode Ea Manodafa galu!”
Now the centurion, who was standing near, out over against him, seeing, that, thus, he ceased to breathe, said—Truly, this man, was God’s son!
40 Uda eno amola ilia badilia lela ba: lalu. Amo da Meli Ma: gadala, Meli eno (Ya: mese, amola Yousefe ela ame) amola Saloumi.
And there were, women also, from afar, looking on, —among whom were both Mary the Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James the Little and Joses, and Salome;
41 Yesu da Ga: lili sogega esaloba, amo uda da Yesuma fa: no bobogei amola E fidisu. Eno uda bagohame, ilia amola da Yesuma fa: no bobogele, Yelusalemega doaga: i, ilia amola da amogawi esafulubi ba: i.
who, when he was in Galilee, used to follow him, and minister unto him, —and many other women, who had come up with him unto Jerusalem.
42 Amo eso da Lolo Nasu Hahamosu eso. Sa: bade eso da aya doaga: mu galu.
And evening, already, having begun, since it was a preparation, that is, the eve of a Sabbath,
43 Amaiba: le, daeya, A:limadia moilai dunu e dio amo Yousefe, (e da mimogo Gasolo dunu, amola e da Gode Ea Hinadafa Hou hogolalu), ea dogo denesini, Bailadema doaga: le, Yesu Ea da: i hodo ema ima: ne sia: i.
Joseph of Arimathaea, a noble counsellor, who, also himself, was awaiting the kingdom of God, came; and, venturing, went in unto Pilate, and claimed the body of Jesus.
44 Yesu da bogoi dagoi nababeba: le, Bailade da fofogadigi. Amalalu, e da dadi gagui hina dunu ema misa: ne sia: beba: le, Yesu da dafawane bogobayale, ema adole ba: i.
But, Pilate, wondered whether, already, he was dead; and, calling near the centurion, questioned him—whether he had, already, died.
45 E da dadi gagui hina amo ea sia: ne iasu lai dagoloba, e da Yousefema Yesu E da: i hodo lama: ne sia: i.
And, getting to know from the centurion, he presented the corpse unto Joseph.
46 Amalalu, Yousefe da bogoi ahea: ya: i abula bidi lale, Yesu Ea da: i hodo bulufalegeiga duga: le, bogoi abulaga sosone, gele gelabo (amo da magufuga dogoi) amo ganodini sali. E da wagebi igi bagade bebesole, amoga logo ga: si dagoi.
And, buying a fine Indian cloth, he took him down, and wrapped him about with the cloth, and laid him in a tomb, which had been hewn out of a rock, —and rolled near a stone upon the door of the tomb.
47 Meli Ma: gadala amola Yousefe ea: me Meli da Yesu Ea da: i hodo gele gelabo ganodini salabe ba: i.
Now, Mary the Magdalene, and Mary the mother of Joses, were viewing how he had been laid.
