1 Hina Gode Ea hawa: hamosu dunu Mousese da bogoi dagoloba, Hina Gode da Mousese ea fidisu dunu amo Yosiua (Nane egefe) ema sia: i.
And it came to pass after the death of Moses, that the Lord spoke to Joshua the son of Naue, the minister of Moses, saying,
2 E amane sia: i, “Na hawa: hamosu dunu Mousese da bogoi dagoi. Defea! Di amola Isala: ili dunu huluane, dilia liligi momagele, Yodane Hano degele, soge amo Na da dilima iaha amo ganodini golili sa: ima.
Moses my servant is dead; now then arise, go over Jordan, thou and all this people, into the land, which I give them.
3 Na da Mousesema sia: i defele, Na da di amola Na fi dunu huluane dilima soge huluane dilia osa: gimu, amo dilima imunu.
Every spot on which ye shall tread I will give it to you, as I said to Moses.
4 Dilia soge alalo da wadela: i hafoga: i soge ga (south) diala amoga asili Lebanone Goumi ga (north) doaga: mu. Eso mabadi la: idi Iufala: idisi Hano amoga asili dilia Hidaide dunu ilia soge huluane lale, eso dabe la: idi Medidela: inia Hano Wayabo Bagade amoga doaga: mu.
The wilderness and Antilibanus, as far as the great river, the river Euphrates, and as far as the extremity of the sea; your costs shall be from the setting of the sun.
5 Yosiua! Di esalea, eno dunu da di hasalimu hamedei ba: mu. Na da Mousese fidi, amo defele eso huluane di fidimu. Na da di hamedafa fisimu.
Not a man shall stand against you all the days of thy life; and as I was with Moses, so will I also be with thee, and I will not fail thee, or neglect thee.
6 Di gasa bagade mae beda: iwane esaloma. Na fi dunu da soge, Na da ilia aowalali ilima imunu ilegele sia: i, amo gesowale fisia, di da ilima bisili ahoasu ouligisu dunu esalumu.
Be strong and 'quit thyself like a man, for thou shalt divide the land to this people, which I sware to give to your fathers.
7 Be di gasa bagade mae beda: iwane esaloma. Hamoma: ne sia: i huluane Na hawa: hamosu dunu Mousese da dima i, amo nabawane hamoma. Dia hou huluane hahawane ba: ma: ne, amo hamoma: ne sia: i huluane noga: le fa: no bobogema.
Be strong, therefore, and quit thyself like a man, to observe and do as Moses my servant commanded thee; and thou shalt not turn therefrom to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest be wise in whatsoever thou mayest do.
8 Dilia da Nama nodone sia: ne gadosea, eso huluane amo sema buga idima. Eso amola gasi, ea bai hogole ba: ma. Liligi huluane amo ganodini dedei noga: le nabima. Amasea, dilia da bagade gagui amola hou huluane didili hamone, hahawane ba: mu.
And the book of this law shall not depart out of thy mouth, and thou shalt meditate in it day and night, that thou mayest know how to do all the things that are written [in it]; then shalt thou prosper, and make thy ways prosperous, and then shalt thou be wise.
9 Mae gogolema! Na da di gasa bagade amola mae beda: iwane hamoma: ne sia: i. Mae da: i dioma amola mae beda: ma! Bai Na, dilia Hina Gode, Na da dilia ahoabe huluane amo sigi ahoa.
Lo! I have commanded thee; be strong and courageous, be not cowardly nor fearful, for the Lord thy God is with thee in all places whither thou goest.
10 Amalalu, Yosiua da Isala: ili fi ouligisu dunu ilima amane sia: i,
And Joshua commanded the scribes of the people, saying,
11 “Abula diasu gilisisu amo ganodini asili, Isala: ili dunuma amane sia: ma, ‘Ha: i manu momagema. Bai eso udiana asili dilia da Yodane Hano degele, soge amo dilia Hina Gode da dilima iaha amo gesowale fimu.’
Go into the midst of the camp of the people, and command the people, saying, Prepare provisions; for yet three days and ye shall go over this Jordan, entering in to take possession of the land, which the Lord God of your fathers gives to you.
12 Yosiua da fi mogili amo Liubene, Ga: de amola Eso Mabadi la: idi Mana: se fi ilima amane sia: i,
And to Ruben, and to Gad, and to the half tribe of Manasse, Joshua said,
13 “Dawa: ma! Hina Gode Ea hawa: hamosu dunu Mousese da dilia Hina Gode da soge Yodane Hano dilia wali lela amo eso mabadi la: idi amo, dili fima: ne dilima imunu sia: i.
Remember the word which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, saying, the Lord your God has caused you to rest, and has given you this land.
14 Dilia uda, mano amola ohe fi da guiguda: esaloma. Be dilia dadi gagui dunu ilia gegesu liligi gaguli, dilia eno na: iyado Isala: ili dunu amo fidima: ne, ilima bisili hano degema.
Let your wives and your children and your cattle dwell in the land, which he has given you; and ye shall go over well armed before your brethren, every one of you who is strong; and ye shall fight on their side;
15 Ilia da Yodane Hano eso dabe la: idi soge amo dilia Hina Gode da ilima i, amo gesowale fima: ne dilia fidima. Ilia da amo soge lai dagosea, dilia buhagili, soge Yodane Hano eso mabadi la: idi amo Hina Gode Ea hawa: hamosu dunu Mousese da dilima i, amo ganodini fima.”
until the Lord your God shall have given your brethren rest, as also to you, and they also shall have inherited the land, which the Lord your God gives them; then ye shall depart each one to his inheritance, which Moses gave you beyond Jordan eastward.
16 Isala: ili dunu da Yosiuama bu adole i, “Defea! Ninia da dia sia: i huluane hamomu. Dia adi sogega nini asunahoasea, ninia da amogai masunu.
And they answered Joshua and said, We will do all things which thou commandest us, and we will go to every place whither thou shalt send us.
17 Ninia da Mousese ea sia: nabasu, amo defele dia sia: nabimu. Amola dia Hina Gode da Mousese fidi amo defele E da di fidimu da defea.
Whereinsoever we hearkened to Moses we will hearken to thee; only let the Lord our God be with thee, as he was with Moses.
18 Nowa da dia sia: hame nabasea, amo dunu ninia da medole legemu. Be di gasa bagade amola mae beda: iwane hamoma!”
And whosoever shall disobey thee, and whosoever shall not hearken to thy words as thou shalt command him, let him die; but be thou strong and courageous.
