Yosiua 24

1 Yosiua da Isala: ili fi huluane Siegeme moilai bai bagadega gilisi. E da asigilai dunu, ouligisu dunu, fofada: su dunu amola Isala: ili ouligisu dunu misa: ne sia: i. Ilia da Hina Godema misi.

And Ioshua assembled againe all the tribes of Israel to Shechem, and called the Elders of Israel, and their heades, and their iudges, and their officers, and they presented themselues before God.

2 Yosiua da dunu huluanema amane sia: i, “Hina Gode, Isala: ili fi ilia Gode da amane sia: sa, ‘Hemonega dilia aowalali da Iufala: idisi Hano na: iyadodili esalu, eno ogogosu ‘gode’ liligi ilima sia: ne gadosu. Dilia siba eda afae da Dila, A:ibalaha: me amola Na: iho ela eda.

Then Ioshua said vnto all the people, Thus saith the Lord God of Israel, Your fathers dwelt beyond the flood in olde time, euen Terah the father of Abraham, and the father of Nachor, and serued other gods.

3 Amalalu, Na da dilia siba eda A: ibalaha: me amo soge Iufala: idisi Hano na: iyado amoga lale, amola Ga: ina: ne soge amoga oule asi. Na da ema egaga fi bagohame i. Na da Aisage ema i.

And I tooke your father Abraham from beyond the flood, and brought him through all the land of Canaan, and multiplied his seede, and gaue him Izhak.

4 Na da Aisagema, Ya: igobe amola Iso i. Na da Isoma amo Idome agolo soge i. Be dilia aowa Ya: igobe amola ea mano da Idibidi sogega sa: i.

And I gaue vnto Izhak, Iaakob and Esau: and I gaue vnto Esau mount Seir, to possesse it: but Iaakob and his children went downe into Egypt.

I sent Moses also and Aaron, and I plagued Egypt: and when I had so done among them, I brought you out.

So I brought your fathers out of Egypt, and ye came vnto the Sea, and the Egyptians pursued after your fathers with charets and horsemen vnto the red sea.

Then they cryed vnto the Lord, and he put a darkenesse betweene you and the Egyptians, and brought the sea vpon them, and couered them: so your eyes haue seene what I haue done in Egypt also ye dwelt in the wildernesse a long season.

8 Amalalu, Na da dili A: moulaide dunu ilia soge Yodane Hano ea eso mabadi la: idi amoga oule misi. Ilia da dilima gegei, be Na da dili fidibiba: le, dilia amo dunu fane legei. Dilia da ilia soge lai amola dilia da gusuba: i ahoanoba, Na da amo dunu wadela: lesi.

After, I brought you into the land of the Amorites, which dwelt beyond Iorden, and they fought with you: but I gaue them into your hand, and ye possessed their countrey, and I destroyed them out of your sight.

9 Amalalu, Moua: be hina bagade dunu, Sibo ea mano Ba: ila: ge da dilima gegei. E da Ba: ila: me (Bio ea mano) ema e da dilima gagabusu aligima: ne sia: adole iasi.

Also Balak the sonne of Zippor King of Moab arose and warred against Israel, and sent to call Balaam the sonne of Beor for to curse you,

But I would not heare Balaam: therefore he blessed you, and I deliuered you out of his hand.

11 Dilia da Yodane Hano degele, Yeligou moilai bai bagadega doaga: i. Yeligou dunu da dilima gegei. A: moulaide dunu, Belisaide dunu, Ga: ina: naide dunu, Hidaide dunu, Gegasiaide dunu, Haifaide dunu amola Yebiusaide dunu huluane da dilima gegei. Be Na da fidibiba: le, dilia da amo huluane hasali dagoi.

And ye went ouer Iorden, and came vnto Iericho, and the men of Iericho fought against you, the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Girgashites, the Hiuites and the Iebusites, and I deliuered them into your hand.

12 Dilia da gusuba: i ahoanoba, Na da ili beda: ma: ne hamosu. Dilia da A: moulaide hina bagade aduna gadili sefasima: ne, Na da agoane hamoi. Dilia gegesu gobihei amola dadi da amo hasalasu hou hame hamosu.

And I sent hornets before you, which cast them out before you, euen the two kings of the Amorites, and not with thy sword, nor with thy bow.

13 Na da soge amo dilia da hame dogosu amola moilai bai bagade dilia da hame gagui amo dilima i. Wali dilia da amo soge ganodini esala amola waini efe amo dilia hame sagai amoga dilia da waini fage naha amola olife ifa amo dilia hame bugi amoga olife fage naha.’”

And I haue giuen you a land, wherein ye did not labour, and cities which ye built not, and yee dwell in them, and eate of the vineyards and oliue trees, which yee planted not.

14 Yosiua da bu amane sia: i, “Amaiba: le, Godema nodoma amola mae fisili, hahawane Ea hawa: hamosu hamoma. Ogogosu ‘gode’ liligi amo dilia aowalali da Mesoubouda: imia amola Idibidi amo ganodini ilima hawa: hamosu, amo ha: digili, Hina Godema fawane hawa: hamoma.

Nowe therefore feare the Lord, and serue him in vprightnesse and in trueth, and put away the gods, which your fathers serued beyonde the flood and in Egypt, and serue the Lord.

15 Be dilia Ema hawa: hamomusa: hame hanai galea, defea, wali eso dilia da nowama hawa: hamomusa: dawa: sea, sia: ma! Dilia da ogogosu ‘gode’ liligi amo dilia aowalali da Mesoubouda: imia sogega sia: ne gadosu amo dilia da dafawaneyale dawa: le, lalegaguma: bela: ? And if it seeme euill vnto you to serue the Lord, choose you this day whome yee will serue, whether the gods which your fathers serued (that were beyond the flood) or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwel: but I and mine house will serue the Lord.

16 Dunu huluane da bu adole i, “Ninia da eno ‘gode’ liligi ilima hawa: hamoma: ne, Hina Godedafa hamedafa fisimu.

Then the people answered and saide, God forbid, that we shoulde forsake the Lord, to serue other gods.

17 Ninia Hina Gode da ninia aowalali amola nini amo Idibidi soge (amo ganodini ninia da udigili se nabawane hawa: hamosu) amoga fadegai dagoi. Ea musa: hame ba: su gasa bagade hou ninia ba: i dagoi. Ninia da dunu fi eno amoga baligili asili, E da eso huluane nini gaga: i.

For the Lord our God, he brought vs and our fathers out of the lande of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and he did those great miracles in our sight, and preserued vs in all the way that we went, and among all the people through whome we came.

18 Ninia da amo soge ganodini golili sa: ili, Hina Gode da A: moulaide dunu amo ganodini esalu gadili sefasi. Amaiba: le, ninia da Hina Godema fa: no bobogemu hanai. E da ninia Gode.”

And the Lord did cast out before vs all the people, euen the Amorites which dwelt in the lande: therefore will we also serue the Lord, for he is our God.

19 Yosiua da dunu huluanema amane sia: i, “Be dilia Hina Gode Ea hawa: hamosu hamomu da hamedei. E da hadigi Gode amola E da dilia hame nabasu hou hame gogolema: ne olofomu. E da mudasu Gode, E da dili eno ‘gode’ liligi ilima fa: no bobogema: ne hamedafa ba: mu.

And Ioshua saide vnto the people, Ye can not serue the Lord: for he is an holie God: he is a ielous God: hee will not pardon your iniquitie nor your sinnes.

20 Amola dilia da E fisili, ga fi ‘gode’ liligi ilima fa: no bobogesea, E da dilima sinidigili se bagade imunu. E da musa: dilima hahawane amola asigisu, be fa: no E da dili wadela: lesimu.”

If yee forsake the Lord and serue strange gods, then he will returne and bring euill vpon you, and consume you, after that hee hath done you good.

21 Dunu huluane da Yosiuama amane sia: i, “Hame mabu! Ninia da dafawane Hina Godema fa: no bobogemu.”

And the people saide vnto Ioshua, Nay, but we will serue the Lord.

22 Yosiua da ilima bu adole i, “Dilisu da dilila: ba: su dunu esala. Dilia da Hina Godema fa: no bobogema: ne ilegei dagoi.” Ilia da amane sia: i, “Dafawane! Nini fawane da amo hou ba: su dunu.”

And Ioshua saide vnto the people, Yee are witnesses against your selues, that yee haue chosen you the Lord, to serue him: and they sayd, We are witnesses.

23 Yosiua da amane sia: i, “Amaiba: le, amo ga fi ‘gode’ liligi dilia gagusa, amo fadegale fisima. Amola Isala: ili Hina Godema dafawane fa: no bobogema: ne ilegele sia: ma!”

Then put away nowe, saide he, the strange gods which are among you, and bowe your hearts vnto the Lord God of Israel.

24 Amalalu, dunu huluane da Yosiuama amane sia: i, “Ninia da ninia Hina Godema fa: no bobogele, Ea hawa: hamomu. Ninia da Ea hamoma: ne sia: i nabawane hamomu.”

And ye people saide vnto Ioshua, The Lord our God wil we serue, and his voyce wil we obey.

25 Amaiba: le, Yosiua da amo esoha ilima gousa: su hamoi. Siegeme moilai bai bagadega e da sema amola hamoma: ne sia: i ilima i.

So Ioshua made a couenant with the people the same day, and gaue them an ordinance and lawe in Shechem.

26 Yosiua da amo hamoma: ne sia: i, amo Hina Gode Ea Sema Buga ganodini dedei. Amalalu, e da gele bagade lale, ouge ifa Hina Gode Ea hadigi sogebi ganodini dialu, amo hagudu ligisi.

And Ioshua wrote these woordes in the booke of the Lawe of God, and tooke a great stone, and pitched it there vnder an oke that was in the Sanctuarie of the Lord.

27 E da dunu huluanema amane sia: i, “Amo gele da ninia dawa: digima: ne ba: su olei agoane. Amo gele da sia: huluane Hina Gode da ninima sia: i, amo nabi dagoi. Amaiba: le, dilia da dilia Godema odoga: su hou hamosa: besa: le, amo gele da dilima ba: su olei agoane.”

And Ioshua saide vnto all the people, Beholde, this stone shall be a witnesse vnto vs: for it hath heard all the wordes of the Lord which he spake with vs: it shall be therefore a witnesse against you, lest yee denie your God.

28 Amalalu, Yosiua da dunu huluane gadili asunasi. Amola ilia huluane da ilia sogedafa amoga asi.

Then Ioshua let the people depart, euery man vnto his inheritance.

29 Amalalu, Hina Gode Ea hawa: hamosu dunu, Nane egefe Yosiua, da bogoi dagoi. E da lalelegele, ode 110 gidigi.

And after these things Ioshua the sonne of Nun, the seruaunt of the Lord died, being an hundreth and ten yeeres olde.

30 Ilia da ea soge ganodini ea da: i hodo uli dogone sali. Ea soge da Dimina: de Sila amo Ifala: ime agolo soge Ga: ia: se Goumi amo gano galu.

And they buried him in ye border of his inheritance in Timnath-serah, which is in mount Ephraim, on the Northside of mount Gaash.

31 Yosiua da esalea, Isala: ili dunu da Hina Godema noga: le fa: no bobogei. Yosiua da bogoloba, Isala: ili ouligisu dunu amo da Hina Gode Ea Isala: ili fidisu hou ba: i dagoi, amo dunu da esalea, Isala: ili dunu da Hina Godema noga: le fa: no bobogei.

And Israel serued the Lord all the daies of Ioshua, and all the daies of the Elders that ouerliued Ioshua, and which had knowen all the workes of the Lord that he had done for Israel.

32 Yousefe ea da: i hodo amo Isala: ili dunu da Idibidi sogega gaguli misi, amo ilia da Siegeme moilai bai bagadega uli dogoi. Ilia da sogebi amo Ya: igobe da Ha: imo (Siegeme ea mano) amo ea manoma silifa fage 100 amoga lai, amo ganodini uli dogoi. Amo sogebi, Yousefe egaga fi da ilia edama nana lai.

And the bones of Ioseph, which the children of Israel brought out of Egypt, buried they in Shechem in a parcell of ground which Iaakob bought of the sonnes of Hamor the father of Shechem, for an hundreth pieces of siluer, and the children of Ioseph had them in their inheritance.

33 Elia: isa (Elane ea mano) amola da bogoi. Ilia da ea da: i hodo amo Gibia moilai (Ifala: ime agolo soge ganodini dialu. Amo moilai ilia da Elia: isa egefe Finia: se ema i dagoi) amoga uli dogone sali. Sia: Ama Dagoi Yosiua 24:15 “Wali eso, dilia da nowama fa: no bobogele, hawa: hamomusa: dawa: sea, sia: ma! Be na amola na sosogo fi da Hina Gode amo Ea hawa: hamosu fawane hamomu.”

Also Eleazar the sonne of Aaron died, whome they buried in the hill of Phinehas his sonne, which was giuen him in mount Ephraim.
