1 Na da uda eno mae magesa: i ba: ma: ne, Godema dafawaneyale ilegele sia: i.
I Made a covenant with my eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?
2 Gode Bagadedafa da ninima adi hamosala: ? E da habodane osobo bagade dunu ilia houba: le dabe iabela: ?
For what portion of God [is there] from above? and [what] inheritance of the Almighty from on high?
3 E da wadela: le hamosu dunuma gugunufinisisu hou amola wadela: lesisu hou iasisa.
[Is] not destruction to the wicked? and a strange [punishment] to the workers of iniquity?
4 Gode da na hamobe liligi huluane dawa: E da na osa: le gagabe huluane ba: lala.
Doth not he see my ways, and count all my steps?
5 Na da dafawane ilegele sia: sa! Na da wadela: le hamedafa hamosu. Amola na da eno dunuma hamedafa ogogosu.
If I have walked with vanity, or if my foot hath hasted to deceit;
6 Gode da moloidafa dioi defesu amo da: iya, na adoba: mu da defea. Amasea, na hou da moloidafa, E da ba: mu.
Let me be weighed in an even balance, that God may know my integrity.
7 Na da logodafa fisiagai ganiaba, o wadela: le hamomu hanai ganiaba, o na lobo da wadela: le hamoiba: le ledo hamoi ganiaba,
If my step hath turned out of the way, and my heart walked after my eyes, and if any blot hath cleaved to my hands;
8 defea, na ha: i manu bugi da wadela: lesi dagoi ba: mu da defea, amola dunu enoga na bugi moma: mu da defea gala: loba.
[Then] let me sow, and let another eat; yes, let my offspring be rooted out.
9 Na da na na: iyado idua hanaiwane ba: i ganiaba, amola amo uda ea logo ga: su gadili wamoaligi ouesalebe ba: i ganiaba,
If my heart hath been deceived by a woman, or [if] I have laid wait at my neighbor's door;
10 defea, na uda da eno dunu ea ha: i manu gobemu, amola e da dunu eno amola gilisili golamu da defea gala: loba.
[Then] let my wife grind to another, and let others bow down upon her.
11 Nowa da agoane wadela: le hamosea, ilima se iasu da bogosu ba: mu da defea.
For this [is] a hainous crime; yea, it [is] an iniquity [to be punished by] the judges.
12 Na da agoane wadela: i hou hamoi ganiaba, amo hou da gugunufinisisu Helo lalu defele ba: la: loba. Amola amo lalu da na gagui huluane na dagola: loba.
For it [is] a fire [that] consumeth to destruction, and would root out all my increase.
13 Musa: , na hawa: hamosu dunu ilia da nama egasea, na da ilia sia: nabalu, ilima moloidafa hamosu.
If I despised the cause of my man-servant or of my maid-servant, when they contended with me;
14 Na da amane hame hamoi ganiaba, na da Gode Ea midadi habodane leloma: bela: ? Gode da nama fofada: musa: masea, na da Ema adi sia: ma: bela: ?
What then shall I do when God riseth up? and when he visiteth, what shall I answer him?
15 Gode da na da: i hahamoi. Amola Ea da na hawa: hamosu dunu ili amolawane hahamoi dagoi.
Did not he that made me in the womb make him? and did not one fashion us in the womb?
16 Na da hame gagui dunu fidimusa: hamedafa hihi. Na da didalo uda ili se nabawane esaloma: ne, hamedafa yolesi.
If I have withheld the poor from [their] desire, or have caused the eyes of the widow to fail;
17 Na da ha: i sadini nanu, guluba: mano ha: aligi esaloma: ne hamedafa yolesi.
Or have eaten my morsel myself alone, and the fatherless hath not eaten of it;
18 Na esalusu huluane amoga na da amo hahani dunu noga: le ouligilalusu.
(For from my youth he was brought up with me, as [with] a father, and I have guided her from my mother's womb; )
19 Na da hame gagui dunu amo da abula bidi lamu hamedei ba: loba,
If I have seen any perish for want of clothing, or any poor without covering;
20 na da sibi hinabo amo na da na sibi wa: iga lai, amoga hamoi abula ema iasu. Amalalu, e da nama nodosu.
If his loins have not blessed me, and [if] he hath not been warmed with the fleece of my sheep;
21 Na da fofada: su diasuga hasalimu dawa: bela: le, guluba: mano afae ema ogogole hamoi ganiaba,
If I have lifted up my hand against the fatherless, when I saw my help in the gate:
22 na lobo fimu amola na ougia dagalisi dagoi ba: mu da defea gala: loba.
[Then] let my arm fall from my shoulder-blade, and my arm be broken from the bone.
23 Na da agoai hou hamomu hamedafa dawa: i. Bai na da Gode Ea se dabe imunu amoga beda: sa.
For destruction [from] God [was] a terror to me, and by reason of his highness I could not endure.
24 Na da bagade gagui hou amo da bai bagadeyale hamedafa dawa: su.
If I have made gold my hope, or have said to the fine gold, [Thou art] my confidence;
25 Amola na da bagade gaguiba: le, hame hidasu.
If I have rejoiced because my wealth [was] great, and because my hand had gained much;
26 Na da eso ea hadigi amoma nodone hame sia: ne gadosu. Amola oubi gela: gegei amoma nodone hame sia: ne gadosu.
If I have beheld the sun when it shined, or the moon walking [in] brightness;
27 Na wadela: le hamoma: ne, na da ili (oubi amola eso) amoma asigi sia: musa: , na lobo nonogonanu hame oleagasu.
And my heart hath been secretly enticed, or my mouth hath kissed my hand:
28 Agoai wadela: i hou amoma se dabe iasu da bogosu ba: mu da defea. Amo wadela: i hou da Gode da hame esala, amo defele olelesa.
This also [were] an iniquity [to be punished by] the judge: for I should have denied the God [that is] above.
29 Nama ha lai dunu da se nababeba: le, na da hamedafa nodosu. Amola gugunufinisisu hou ilima doaga: beba: le, na hame nodosu.
If I have rejoiced at the destruction of him that hated me, or have lifted up myself when evil found him:
30 Na da ili bogoma: ne, na da hamedafa wadela: le sia: ne gadoi.
Neither have I suffered my mouth to sin by wishing a curse to his soul.
31 Nama hawa: hamosu dunu huluane da na da eso huluane ga fi yosia: sa, amo dawa:
If the men of my tabernacle have not said, Oh that we had of his flesh! we cannot be satisfied.
32 Na da lalusu dunu na diasuga aowamusa: misa: ne sia: su. Ilia udigili logoga golasa: besa: le, na ili aowasu.
The stranger did not lodge in the street: [but] I opened my doors to the traveler.
33 Dunu oda ilia da ilia wadela: i hou wamolegemusa: dawa: Be na da na wadela: i hou hamedafa wamolegesa.
If I have covered my transgressions as Adam, by hiding my iniquity in my bosom:
34 Na da eno dunu ilia sia: be amoga hame beda: su. Ilia gadesu hou amoma beda: iba: le, na da hame ouiya: su amola diasu gelabo ganodini hame ouesalusu.
Did I fear a great multitude, or did the contempt of families terrify me, that I kept silence, [and] went not out of the door?
35 Dunu afae da na sia: nabima: bela: ? Na da Gode Bagadedafa Ea Dioba: le ilegele sia: sa. Na sia: huluanedafa da dafawane. Gode Hi da nama adole imunu da defea. Ilia da fofada: su liligi amo nama ha lai dunu da nama fofada: nanu, amo huluane na ba: ma: ne dedene legemu ganiaba,
Oh that one would hear me! behold, my desire [is], [that] the Almighty would answer me, and [that] my adversary had written a book.
36 na da na gida da: iya hahawane gasisalala: loba amola habuga agoane na dialuma da: iya figisila: loba.
Surely I would take it upon my shoulder, [and] bind it [as] a crown to me.
37 Na da na hamoi hou huluane Godema adola: loba, amola Ea midadi na moloi hou dawa: beba: le, na dialuma mae fili guduli, hahawane lela: loba.
I would declare to him the number of my steps; as a prince would I go near to him.
38 Be na da na bugili nasu soge, amo soge edadafa ilima wamolai ganiaba,
If my land crieth against me, or its furrows likewise complain;
39 na da ha: i manu amogai bugi mai ganiaba, amola ifabi hawa: hamosu ilima ha: i manu hame iabeba: le, ilia ha: ga bogomu logo doasi ganiaba,
If I have eaten the fruits of it without money, or have caused its owners to lose their life:
40 defea amo sogega widi amola bali mae heda: le, udigili gagalobo amola aya: gaga: nomei gisi heda: mu da defea gala: loba.” Yoube ea sia: da dagoi wea.
Let thistles grow instead of wheat, and cockle instead of barley. The words of Job are ended.
