Silver hath beginnings of its veins, and gold hath a place wherein it is melted.
2 Osobo bagade dunu da gula lamusa: , osobo dogosa. Ilia balase lamusa: , igi goudane dadaiyasa.
Iron is taken out of the earth, and stone melted with heat is turned into brass.
3 Amo liligi lamusa: , uli dogosu dunu da gasi bagade ganodini hogosa. Ilia da oso gududafa dogone, hogosa. Ilia gasi ganodini igi lamusa: dogosa.
He hath set a time for darkness, and the end of all things he considereth, the stone also that is in the dark and the shadow of death.
4 Dunu esalebe soge amoga badiliadafa, amola dunu ilia emoga ahoasu logoga badiliadafa, ilia da uli dogosa. Amogawi, ilisu da efe gaguiwane, uli dogoi ganodini hawa: hamonana.
The flood divideth from the people that are on their journey, those whom the food of the needy man hath forgotten, and who cannot be come at.
5 Ha: i manu bugi da osoboga heda: sa. Be amo osobo haguduga, liligi huluane da gagoudai dagoi ba: sa.
The land, out of which bread grew in its place, hath been overturned with fire.
6 Osobo bagade ea igi ganodini da sa: faia (igi noga: idafa) ba: sa. Osobo gulu ganodini, gouli dialebe ba: sa.
The stones of it are the place of sapphires, and the clods of it are gold.
7 Sia sio da gouli uli dogoi ea logo hame ba: sa. Amola buhiba da amo gadodili hagili hame ahoa.
The bird hath not known the path, neither hath the eye of the vulture beheld it.
8 Laione wa: me amola eno nimi bagade sigua ohe da amo logoba: le hame ahoa.
The children of the merchants have not trodden it, neither hath the lioness passed by it.
9 Uli dogosu dunu da ga: nasidafa igi dogosa. Ilia da goumi ilia baiga dogonana.
He hath stretched forth his hand to the flint, he hath overturned mountains from the roots.
10 Ilia da igi magufu ganodini dogosea, ilia da igi noga: idafa ba: sa.
In the rocks he hath cut out rivers, and his eye hath seen every precious thing.
11 Ilia da dodogona ahoana, hano ilia banugumaga doaga: sa. Ilia wamolegei liligi amo hadigiga gaguli maha.
The depths also of rivers he hath searched, and hidden things he hath brought forth to light.
12 Be bagade dawa: su hou ba: ma: ne, ninia habi hogoma: bela: ? Ninia da hou noga: le dawa: digima: ne, habidili hogoma: bela: ?
But where is wisdom to be found, and where is the place of understanding?
13 Bagade dawa: su hou da osobo bagade dunu ganodini hame ba: mu. Dunu huluane da bagade dawa: su hou habodayane hamedafa dawa:
Man knoweth not the price thereof, neither is it found in the land of them that live in delights.
14 Dilia da hano wayabo bagade lugududafa amo ganodini, bagade dawa: su hou hame ba: mu.
The depth saith: It is not in me: and the sea saith: It is not with me.
15 Bagade dawa: su hou amo silifa amola gouliga bidilamu da hamedei.
The finest gold shall not purchase it, neither shall silver be weighed in exchange for it.
16 Gouli noga: idafa amola igi noga: idafa, amo da bagade dawa: su hou ea habodayane hame defesa.
It shall not be compared with the dyed colours of India, or with the most precious stone sardonyx, or the sapphire.
17 Bagade dawa: su hou da gouli amola gouliga hamoi faigelei amola ‘galasi’ noga: idafa amo habodayane baligisa.
Gold or crystal cannot equal it, neither shall any vessels of gold be changed for it.
18 Bagade dawa: su hou da ‘golole’ amola galasi noga: i amola ‘lubi’ igi ilia habodayane baligisa.
High and eminent things shall not be mentioned in comparison of it: but wisdom is drawn out of secret places.
19 ‘Douba: se’ igi noga: idafa amola gouli noga: idafa da bagade dawa: su hou amo ea habodayane hame defesa.
The topaz of Ethiopia shall not be equal to it, neither shall it be compared to the cleanest dyeing.
20 Amaiba: le, bagade dawa: su hou ea bai da habila: ? Ninia da habodane amo dawa: digima: bela: ?
Whence then cometh wisdom? and where is the place of understanding?
21 Esalebe liligi huluane da amo ba: mu gogolesa. Sio da hagili ahoasea, amo hame ba: sa.
It is hid from the eyes of all living. and the fowls of the air know it not.
22 Fedege agoane, bogosu amola gugunufinisisu hou da bagade dawa: su hou fonobahadi fawane nababeba: le, noga: le hame dawa:
Destruction and death have said: With our ears we have heard the fame thereof.
23 Gode Hi fawane da logodafa dawa: Ea fawane da bagade dawa: su hou dialebe sogebi dawa:
God understandeth the way of it, and he knoweth the place thereof.
24 Bai Ea fawane da osobo bagade bega: huluane amola liligi huluanedafa mu hagudu dialebe ba: lala.
For he beholdeth the ends of the world: and looketh on all things that are under heaven.
25 Gode da fo amoga gasa ianoba, amola hano wayabo amoma alalo sedagi ilegeloba, amola gibu ea sa: imu sogebi ilegeloba, amola mu gohona: amoma ilia masunu logo olelelaloba, amogalu E da bagade dawa: su hou ba: lalu, amola ea habodayane adoba: lalu, bagade dawa: su hou da defeadafa sia: i.
Who made a weight for the winds and weighed the waters by measure.
When he gave a law for the rain, and a way for the sounding storms.
Then he saw it, and declared, and prepared, and searched it.
28 Gode da nini osobo bagade dunuma amane sia: i, “Dilia da bagade dawa: su hou lamusa: dawa: sea, dilia Hina Godema beda: i galawane nodoma! Amo hou dawa: digima: ne, wadela: i hou fisili, Godema sinidigima!”
And he said to man: Behold the fear of the Lord, that is wisdom: and to depart from evil, is understanding.
