1 Dunu afae ea dio amo Yoube e da Ase soge ganodini esalu. E da Godema nodone sia: ne gadolalu amola mae fisili Ema fa: no bobogelalu. Ea hou da noga: i amola e da wadela: i hamosu hame dawa: i.
`A man, Joob bi name, was in the lond of Hus; and thilke man was symple, and riytful, and dredynge God, and goynge awey fro yuel.
2 E da dunu mano fesuale amola uda mano udiana esalu.
And seuene sones and thre douytris weren borun to hym;
3 E da sibi 7000, ga: mele 3000, bulamagau 1000 amola dougi500agoane gagui galu. E da hawa: hamosu dunu bagohame ouligisu, amola ea gagui da dunu huluane eso maba gusudili soge ganodini esalu, ilia gagui amo baligi dagoi.
and his possessioun was seuene thousynde of scheep, and thre thousynde of camels, and fyue hundrid yockis of oxis, and fyue hundrid of femal assis, and ful myche meynee; and `thilke man was grete among alle men of the eest.
4 Yoube egefelali ilia da higagale lolo nasu hamosu. Amola Yoube ea mano oda ilia da amoga masu. Amola ilia dalusilali misa: ne hiougisu.
And hise sones yeden, and maden feestis bi housis, ech man in his day; and thei senten, and clepiden her thre sistris, `that thei schulden ete, and drynke wiyn with hem.
5 Lolo nanu gesafo, Yoube da hahabedafa wa: legadole, ea mano ilia wadela: i hou dodofema: ne, gobele salasu hamonanusu. Bai ea mano afae da mae dawa: iwane Godema gadesu hamosa: besa: le, e da agoane hamosu.
And whanne the daies of feeste hadden passid in to the world, Joob sente to hem, and halewide hem, and he roos eerli, and offride brent sacrifices `bi alle. For he seide, Lest perauenture my sones do synne, and curse God in her hertis. Joob dide so in alle daies.
6 Eso amoga Hebene ganodini esalebe a: silibu da Hina Gode midadi doaga: loba, Sa: ida: ne da ili gilisili manebe ba: i.
Forsothe in sum day, whanne the sones of God `weren comun to be present bifor the Lord, also Sathan cam among hem.
7 Hina Gode da Sa: ida: nema amane adole ba: i, “Di da adi hamonanula: ?” Sa: ida: ne da bu adole i, “Na da goeguda: amola goega huluane, osobo bagade sisiga: sa lalu.”
To whom the Lord seide, Fro whennus comest thou? Which answeride, and seide, Y haue cumpassid the erthe, and Y haue walkid thorouy it.
8 Hina Gode da amane adole ba: i, “Di da Na hawa: hamosu dunu Yoube amo dia ba: bela: ? Dunu osobo bagade ganodini fi noga: le fa: no bobogesu dunu e agoai da hame. E da Nama fawane sia: ne gadosa, amola e da wadela: le hamosa: besa: le, dawa: iwane Nama fa: no bobogelala.”
And the Lord seide to hym, Whether thou hast biholde my seruaunt Joob, that noon in erthe is lyik hym; he is a symple man, and riytful, and dredynge God, and goynge awei fro yuel?
9 Sa: ida: ne da bu adole i, “Yoube da Dima bidi hame lasea, e da Dima nodone sia: ne gadoma: bela: ?
To whom Sathan answeride, Whether Joob dredith God veynli?
10 Di da eso huluane, e amola ea sosogo amola ea gagui huluane, amo noga: le gaga: lala. Dia da ea hawa: hamosu huluane nodoma: ne hamosa. Amola di da soge huluane nabama: ne, bulamagau bagohamedafa ema i.
Whethir thou hast not cumpassid hym, and his hows, and al his catel bi cumpas? Thou hast blessid the werkis of hise hondis, and hise possessioun encreesside in erthe.
11 Be Di da ea gagui huluane bu samogesea, e da Dia odagia gagabusu aligima: mu!”
But stretche forth thin hond a litil, and touche thou alle thingis whiche he hath in possessioun; if he cursith not thee `in the face, `bileue not to me.
12 Hina Gode da Sa: ida: nema amane sia: i, “Defea! Na da liligi huluane ea gagui amo dia lobo da: iya ligisisa. Be Yoube ea da: i hodo mae se nabasima!” Amalalu, Sa: ida: ne da fisili asi.
Therfor the Lord seide to Sathan, Lo! alle thingis, whiche he hath, ben in thin hond; oneli stretche thou not forth thin hond in to hym. And Sathan yede out fro the face of the Lord.
13 Eso afaega, Yoube ea mano ilia da ilia ola magobo ea diasuga lolo nanu.
Sotheli whanne in sum dai `hise sones and douytris eeten, and drunken wiyn in the hows of her firste gendrid brothir,
14 Sia: adola ahoasu dunu afae da hehenaia misini, Youbema doaga: le, amane sia: i, “Ninia da bugia osobo gidinasu bulamagauga bagesili osobo dogonanu. Dia dougi ilia gisi soge gadenene esalebe ba: i.
a messanger cam to Job, `whiche messanger seide, Oxis eriden, and femal assis `weren lesewid bisidis tho;
15 Hedolodafa, Sa: bia: ne dunu da ninima doagala: le, dougi huluane wamolai dagoi. Ilia da dia hawa: hamosu dunu huluane medole lelegei. Na fawane da hobea: i. Na fawane da hobeale misini, dima adosa.”
and Sabeis felden yn, and token awey alle thingis, and `smytiden the children with swerd; and Y aloone ascapide for to telle to thee.
16 Ea sia: da hame dagoiawane, hawa: hamosu dunu enowane misini, amane sia: i, “Ha: ha: na bagade gala: le, sibi huluane amola sibi ouligisu dunu huluane amo medole lelegei dagoi. Na fawane da mae bogole, hobeale misini, dima adola misi.”
And whanne he spak yit, anothir cam, and seide, Fier of God cam doun fro heuene, and wastide scheep, and `children touchid; and Y aloone ascapide for to telle `to thee.
17 Ea sia: da hame dagoiawane, hawa: hamosu dunu enowane misini, amane sia: i, “Ga: ledia: ne gilisisu udiana ilia da ninima doagala: le, ga: mele huluane sasamogene, dia hawa: hamosu dunu huluane fane lelegei. Be na fawane da hobeale misini, dima adola misi.”
But yit the while he spak, also anothir cam, and seide, Caldeis maden thre cumpenyes, and assailiden the camels, and token tho awei, and thei smytiden `also the children with swerd; and Y aloone ascapide to telle to thee.
18 Ea sia: da hame dagoiawane, hawa: hamosu dunu enowane misini, Youbema amane sia: i, “Dia mano da dia magobo mano ea diasuga lolo nanu.
And yit he spak, and, lo! anothir entride, and seide, While thi sones and douytris eeten, and drunken wiyn in the hows of her firste gendrid brothir,
19 Amalalu, hafoga: i sogeganini, mulu bagade da misini, diasu mugululi, dia mano huluane amoga bogogia: i. Na fawane da mae bogole, hobeale misini, dima adola misi.”
a greet wynde felde yn sudenli fro the coost of desert, and schook foure corneris of the hows, `which felde doun, and oppresside thi children, and thei ben deed; and Y aloone fledde to telle to thee.
20 Amalalu, Yoube da wa: legadole, da: i dioiba: le, hina: abula gagadelale sali. E da dialuma gesele, odagi guduli, osobo da: iya gala: la sa: i.
Thanne Joob roos, and to-rente hise clothis, and `with pollid heed he felde doun on the erthe, and worschipide God,
21 E da amane sia: i, “Na da da: i nabadowane lalelegei, amola na da da: i nabadowane bogole masunu. Hina Gode da liligi huluane Nama i galu, be wali Hi bu lai. Ea Dio amoma nodone sia: mu da defea.”
and seide, Y yede nakid out of the wombe of my modir, Y schal turne ayen nakid thidur; the Lord yaf, the Lord took awei; as it pleside the Lord, so `it is doon; the name of the Lord be blessid.
22 Yoube ema se nabasu bagadedafa doaga: i. Be amomane, e da Godema bai sia: ne wadela: le hame hamoi.
In alle these thingis Joob synnede not in hise lippis, nether spak ony fonned thing ayens God.
