The word of the Lord that came to Jeremias the prophet against the Gentiles,

Against Egypt, against the army of Pharao Nechao king of Egypt, which was by the river Euphrates in Charcamis, whom Nabuchodonosor the king of Babylon defeated, in the fourth year of Joakim the son of Josias king of Juda.
3 “Idibidi dadi gagui ouligisu dunu da amane wele sia: sa, ‘Dilia da: igene ga: su momagele, gegemusa: mogodigili masa.
Prepare ye the shield and buckler, and go forth to battle.
4 Dilia hosi liligi momagele, ili da: iya fila heda: ma! Dadalema! Ouli habuga figisima! Dilia goge agei debema! Dilia da: igene ga: su liligi gasisalima!’
Harness the horses, and get up, ye horsemen: stand forth with helmets, furbish the spears, put on coats of mail.
5 “Be Na da adi ba: sala: ?” Hina Gode da amane sia: sa. “Ilia da beda: iba: le sinidigisa. Ilia ha lai da ili fanana. Ilia da bagadewane beda: iba: le, mae beba: le hobeasa.
What then? I have seen them dismayed, and turning their backs, their valiant ones slain: they fled apace, and they looked not back: terror was round about, saith the Lord.
6 Be hedolodafa hehenasu dunu da baligili hobeamu hame dawa: Dadi gagui dunu da hobeale masunu hamedei ba: sa. Gagoe (north) sogega, Iufala: idisi Hano gadenene, ilia da emo udagaguli dafasa.
Let not the swift flee away, nor the strong think to escape: they are overthrown, and fallen down, towards the north by the river Euphrates.
7 Fi amo da Naile Hano defele heda: le ea bega: nabale aduga: le daha, amo fi da nowala: ?
Who is this that cometh up as a flood: and his streams swell like those of rivers?
8 Amo fi da Idibidi. E da Naile Hano defele heda: le, ea bega: nabane aduga: le daha. Idibidi da amane sia: i, ‘Na da heda: le, osobo bagade dedebomu. Na da moilai amola amo ganodini esalebe dunu amo wadela: lesimu.
Egypt riseth up like a flood, and the waves thereof shall be moved as rivers, and he shall say: I will go up and will cover the earth: I will destroy the city, and its inhabitants.
9 Hosi masa: ne sia: ma! Sa: liode masa: ne sia: ma! Dadi gagui dunu gadili asunasima! Ilia da Suda: ne amola Libia soge, ilia da: i ga: su gaguiwane maha. Amola dadia gegesu bagade dawa: su dunu Lidia sogega misi, amo asunasimu.’”
Get ye up on horses, and glory in chariots, and let the valiant men come forth, the Ethiopians, and the Libyans that hold the shield, and the Lydians that take, and shoot arrows.
10 Wali eso da Ouligisudafa Hina Gode Bagadedafa Ea Eso. Wali eso E da dabemu. Wali eso E da Ea ha lai ilima se imunu. Fedege agoane, Ea gobihei da sadima: ne, Ea ha lai na dagomu. Amola sadima: ne, ilia maga: me manu. Wali eso, gagoe (north) soge Iufala: idisi Hano gadenene, Hina Gode Bagadedafa da gobele salasu hamomu.
For this is the day of the Lord the God of hosts, a day of vengeance, that he may revenge himself of his enemies: the sword shall devour, and shall be filled, and shall be drunk with their blood: for there is a sacrifice of the Lord God of hosts in the north country, by the river Euphrates.
11 Idibidi dunu! Manoma hogomusa: , Gilia: de sogega masa! Dilia manoma da udigili hamedei agoane ba: i dagoi. Dilia da uhimu da hamedei.
Go up into Galaad, and take balm, O virgin daughter of Egypt: in vain dost thou multiply medicines, there shall be no cure for thee.
12 Fifi asi gala huluane da dilia gogosiasu ba: i, amo nabi dagoi. Dadi gagui afae afae da ea sama amoma emo udagaguli, ela gilisili osoboga dafasa.
The nations have heard of thy disgrace, and thy howling hath filled the land: for the strong hath stumbled against the strong, and both are fallen together.
13 Ba: bilone hina bagade Nebiuga: denese da Idibidi doagala: musa: manoba, Hina Gode da nama amane sia: i,
The word that the Lord spoke to Jeremias the prophet, how Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon should come and strike the land of Egypt:
14 “Idibidi moilai bai bagade (Migidole, Memefisi amola Daha: banisi) amo ganodini ha: giwane amane olelema, ‘Dilila: gaga: ma: ne, momagema! Dilia huluane gegesu ganodini wadela: lesi dagoi ba: mu.
Declare ye to Egypt, and publish it in Magdal, and let it be known in Memphis, and in Taphnis: say ye: Stand up, and prepare thyself: for the sword shall devour all round about thee.
15 Dilia gasa bagadedafa dadi gagui dunu da abuliba: le dafabela: ? Bai Hina Gode da ili fane legei dagoi.
Why are thy valiant men come to nothing? they stood not: because the Lord hath overthrown them.
16 Dilia dadi gagui dunu da emo udagaguli dafai dagoi. Ilia enoma enoma amane sia: daha, ‘Hedolo! Ninia ha lai amoga medole legesu mae ba: ma: ne, ninia fi dunu diasuga ahoa: di.’
He hath multiplied them that fall, and one hath fallen upon another, and they shall say: Arise, and let us return to our own people, and to the land our nativity, from the sword of the dove.
17 Idibidi hina bagade ema amo gaheabolo dio asulima, ‘Sia: Bagade Hidasu Dunu, E da Hasalasisu Giadofai.’
Call ye the name of Pharao king Egypt, a tumult time hath brought.

As I live, (saith the King, whose name is the Lord of hosts, ) as Thabor is among the mountains, and as Carmel by the sea, so shall he come.
19 Dilia Idibidi fi dunu! Udigili hawa: hamomusa: masa: ne momagema! Memefisi moilai bai bagade da wadela: i hafoga: i soge amo ganodini dunu esalebe hame ba: mu, agoai ba: mu galebe.
Furnish thyself to go into captivity, thou daughter inhabitant of Egypt: for Memphis shall be made desolate, and shall be forsaken and uninhabited.
20 Idibidi da bulamagau aseme noga: idafa agoane ba: sa. Be gagoe (north) amoga gasonasu awinimi ema doagala: musa: manebe ba: sa.
Egypt is like a fair and beautiful heifer: there shall come from the north one that shall goad her.
21 Idibidi muni hawa: hamosu dadi gagui dunu amola da bulamagau mano fonobahadi defele, gasa hame ba: sa. Ilia da bu gegemusa: hame lelu. Ilia da sinidigili, hobea: i. Ilia wadela: mu eso da doaga: i dagoi.
Her hirelings also that lived in the midst of her, like fatted calves are turned back, and are fled away together, and they could not stand, for the day of their slaughter is come upon them, the time of their visitation.
Her voice shall sound like brass, for they shall hasten with an army, and with axes they shall come against her, as hewers of wood.
23 Ha lai dadi gagui wa: i da manebe ba: loba, Idibidi da sania agoane soiya afia: i. Ilia ha lai da dunu amo da goaheiga ifa aba amola iwila bagade wadela: su, amo defele ilima doagala: sa. Ha lai dadi gagui da idimu hame gala. Ilia idi da danuba: wa: i ilia idi baligisa.
They have cut down her forest, saith the Lord, which cannot be counted: they are multiplied above locusts, and are without number.
24 Idibidi dunu da gogosiasu ba: sa. Gagoe (north) fi dunu da ilima hasalasi dagoi. Na, Hina Gode, da sia: i dagoi.”
The daughter of Egypt is confounded, and delivered into the hand of the people of the north.
The Lord of hosts the God of Israel hath said: Behold I will visit upon the tumult of Alexandria, and upon Pharao, and upon Egypt, and upon her gods, and upon her kings, and upon Pharao, upon them that trust in him.
26 Hina Gode Bagadedafa, Isala: ili fi ilia Gode, da amane sia: sa, “Na da Dibisi moilai bai bagade ea ogogosu ‘gode’ A: imone amola Idibidi fi huluane (ilia ‘gode’ amola hina bagade) ilima se bagade imunu. Na da Idibidi hina bagade amola dunu huluane ema fa: no bobogesa, amo lale, dunu amo da ili medole legemusa: hanai ilima imunu. Na da ili amo Ba: bilone hina bagade Nebiuga: denese amola ea dadi gagui wa: i ilima imunu. Be hobea, dunu da musa: Idibidi soge ganodini esalu, amo defele, dunu da bu amo ganodini esalumu. Na, Hina Gode, da sia: i dagoi.”
And I will deliver them into the hand of them that seek their lives, into the hand of Nabuchodonosor king of Babylon, and into the hand of his servants: and afterwards it shall be inhabited, as in the days of old, saith the Lord.
27 Hina Gode da amane sia: i, “Na fi dunu! Mae beda: ma! Dilia da soge sedaga amo ganodini udigili hawa: hamonana. Be amoga Na da dili gaga: le, fadegamu. Dilia da dilia sogedafa amoga buhagili, olofole esalumu. Amasea, dilia da gaga: iwane, mae beda: iwane, amo ganodini esalumu.
And thou my servant Jacob, fear not and be not thou dismayed, O Israel: for behold I will save thee from afar off, and thy seed out of the land of thy captivity: and Jacob shall return and be at rest, and prosper: and there shall be none to terrify him.
28 Na da dilima misini, dili gaga: mu. Na da fifi asi gala amoga Na da dili afagogoi dagoi, amo huluane wadela: lesimu. Be Na da dili hame wadela: lesimu. Na da dilima se imunu. Be amo se iasea, moloidafa se fawane imunu. Na, Hina Gode, Na da sia: i dagoi.”
And thou, my servant Jacob, fear not, saith the Lord: because I am with thee, for I will consume all the nations to which I have cast thee out: but thee I will not consume, but I will correct thee in judgment, neither will I spare thee as if thou wert innocent.
