1 Amalalu, Youha: ina: ne (Galia egefe), A:salia (Housia: ia egefe), dadi gagui ouligisu dunu amola eno dunu bagade amola fonobahadi, da nama misini,
Then drew near all the captains of the forces, and Johanan son of Kareah and Jezaniah son of Hoshaiah, —and all the people from the least even unto the greatest;
2 amane sia: i, “Ninia adole ba: su nabima! Nini fidima: ne, Hina Godema sia: ne gadoma! Nini huluane da mae bogole esaloma: ne, amo fidima: ne Ema sia: ne gadoma! Musa: ninia da bagohame esalu. Be wali di da ba: loba, ninia da bagahame esala.
and said unto Jeremiah the prophet—Let our supplication we beseech thee fall prostrate before thee, and pray thou in our behalf unto Yahweh thy God, in behalf of all this remnant, —for we are left a few out of many, just as thine own eyes do behold us:
3 Hina Gode da ninima logo olelema: ne amola ninia hamomu olelema: ne, Ema sia: ne gadoma.”
that Yahweh thy God may tell us the way wherein we should walk, —and the thing that we should do.
4 Na da ilima bu adole i, “Defea! Dilia adole ba: i defele, na da ninia Hina Godema sia: ne gadomu. Ea sia: i liligi huluane, na da mae wamolegele, huluane dilima olelemu.”
And Jeremiah the prophet, said unto them, I have heard; behold me! praying unto Yahweh your God according to your words, —and it shall come to pass that the whole thing that Yahweh shall answer you, I will tell you, I will keep back from you, nothing.
5 Amalalu, ilia da nama amane sia: i, “Ninia da Hina Gode ba: ma: ne, dafawanedafa ilegesa. Ninia da hamoma: ne sia: i huluane amo Hina Gode da dima sia: mu liligi, amo huluanedafa ilima fa: no bobogemu.
They, therefore said unto Jeremiah, Yahweh be against us, as a witness true and faithful, —if according to all the word which Yahweh thy God shall send thee unto us, so we do not perform:
6 Ninia da dia nini fidima: ne Hina Godema sia: ne gadoma: ne adole ba: sa. Amo sia: ninia hahawane ba: sea o da: i dioiwane ba: sea, ninia da mae dawa: le, Hina Gode Ea sia: nabawane hamomu. Amasea, ninia da hahawane ba: mu.”
whether for good or for ill, unto the voice of Yahweh our God for which we are sending thee unto him, will we hearken, —to the end it may be well with us, because we will hearken unto the voice of Yahweh our God.
7 Eso nabuane aligili, Hina Gode da nama sia: i.
And it came to pass at the end of ten days, that the word of Yahweh came unto Jeremiah.

Then called he for Johanan son of Kareah, and for all the princes of the forces who were with him—and for all the people from the least even unto the greatest;

and said unto them, Thus, saith Yahweh, God of Israel—unto whom ye sent me, to cause your supplication to fall prostrate before him: —
10 ‘Dilia da amo soge ganodini esaloma: ne hanai galea, Na da dilia fi gaguia gadomu - hame mugulumu. Na da dili bugimu amola hame fadegale fasimu. Na da dilima wadela: su iabeba: le, da: i diosa.
If ye will indeed abide, in this land, then will I build you up, and not pull [you] down, and plant you and not uproot [you], —for I have compassion as touching the calamity which I have caused you.
11 Dilia Ba: bilone hina bagade ema beda: su hou yolesima. Na da dili amola nini esala. Amola ea gasa amoga dili se mae nabima: ne, Na da dili gaga: mu
Do not fear the face of the king of Babylon, of whose face ye are afraid, —do not fear him, Urgeth Yahweh, for with you, am I, to save you, and to deliver you out of his hand:
12 Bai Na da asigi amola gogolema: ne olofosu dawa: Na da hamobeba: le, Ba: bilone hina bagade da dilima asigimu, amola dilia sogedafa amoga buhagima: ne, logo doasimu. Na, Hina Gode, da sia: i dagoi.’
that I may grant you compassions and he may have compassion upon you, —and suffer you to return unto your own soil.
13 Be dilia dunu amo da Yuda soge ganodini esalebe, Hina Gode Ea sia: amola amo soge ganodini bu esalumu amo mae higama. Agoane mae sia: ma, ‘Hame mabu! Ninia da asili, Idibidi sogega masunu. Bai amogawi ninia da gegesu hame ba: mu, amola gegemusa: ha lasu hame nabimu, amola hame ha: mu.’ Dilia da amane sia: sea, amasea Hina Gode Bagadedafa, Isala: ili fi ilia Gode, da amane sia: sa, ‘Dilia da Idibidi sogega esaloma: ne masunu hanai galea,
But, since ye are saying, —We will not dwell in this land, —nor hearken unto the voice of Yahweh your God:
saying, —No! for, into the land of Egypt, will we go, where we shall not see war, nor the sound of a horn, shall we hear, —nor for bread, shall we be famished, —there, then will we dwell
Now, therefore, for this cause, hear ye the word of Yahweh, O remnant of Judah, —Thus! saith Yahweh of hosts, God of Israel, —If, ye do indeed set your faces to enter Egypt and do enter to sojourn there,
16 gegesu (amoga dilia da beda: i) amo da dilima doaga: mu amola ha: i bagade (amoga dilia da beda: i) amo dilia ba: mu. Amasea, dilia Idibidi soge ganodini bogogia: mu.
then shall it come to pass that the sword which ye are fearing shall, there, overtake you, in the land of Egypt, —and the famine which ye are dreading, shall, there, lay fast hold of you, in Egypt, and, there, shall ye die.
17 Dunu huluane amo da Idibidi sogega masunu hanai gala, amo huluane da gegesu o ha: i bagade o olosu amoga bogogia: i dagoi ba: mu. Dunu afae esalebe da hame ba: mu. Bai Na da ilima wadela: su bagade iasimu.’
So shall it be with all the men who have set their faces to enter Egypt to sojourn there, they shall die by sword, by famine or by pestilence, —and they shall have neither survival nor escape, from the face of the calamity which I am about to bring in upon them.
18 Hina Gode, Isala: ili fi ilia Gode, da amane sia: sa, ‘Na da Na ougi bagade amo Yelusaleme fi dunu ilima sogadigi. Amo defele, dilia da Na sia: mae nabawane Idibidi sogega ahoasea, Na da Na ougi bagade dilima sogadigimu. Dilia da wadela: lesi dagoi ba: mu. Dunu eno da dili higamu amola dilia dio amoga gagabusu aligima: ne ilegemu. Dilia da amo soge bu hamedafa ba: mu.’”
For—Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts, God of Israel, —Just as mine anger and mine indignation have been poured out upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so shall mine indignation be poured out upon you when ye enter into Egypt, —thus shall ye become a curse, and an astonishment and a contempt and a reproach, and ye shall no more see this place.
19 Amalalu, na da eno amane sia: i, “Hina Gode da dili Yuda soge ganodini hame mugululi asi esalebe dunu dilima dilia Idibidi sogega mae masa: ne sia: i dagoi. Amaiba: le, na da dilima sisasu iaha.
Yahweh hath spoken concerning you, O ye remnant of Judah, Do not enter into Egypt: Know certainly, that I have taken you to witness to-day.
20 Dilia da bogoma: ne giadofasu hamonana. Dilia da nama na da Hina Godema dili fidima: ne sia: ne gadoma: ne sia: i. Amola dilia da Ea sia: i liligi huluane amoma fa: no bobogema: ne dafawane ilegele sia: i.
For ye have deceived yourselves at the cost of your lives, for, ye yourselves, sent me unto Yahweh your God, saying, —Pray thou in our behalf, unto Yahweh our God, —and according to all that Yahweh our God shall say, so, tell us and we will do it.
21 Amola wali, na da dilima sia: huluane adoi dagoi. Be dilia sia: huluane amo Hina Gode da na dilima alofele iasima: ne asunasi, amo nabimu higasa.
Therefore have I told you to-day, —and yet ye have not hearkened unto the voice of Yahweh your God, even in any thing for which he hath sent me unto you.
22 Amaiba: le, amo bu dawa: ma! Dilia da Idibidi sogega esaloma: ne masunu hanai gala. Be amo ganodini dilia da gegesu o ha: i bagade o olo bagade amoga bogogia: i dagoi ba: mu.”
Now, therefore, know ye certainly, that by sword, by famine, or by pestilence, shall ye die, —in the place whither ye have desired to go, to sojourn.
