1 Ba: bilone hina bagade Nebiuga: denese da Yehoiagini (Yihoiagimi egefe) amo fadegale, ea ouligisu sogebi amo Sedegaia (Yousaia egefe) ema i.
And King Zedekiah the sonne of Iosiah reigned for Coniah the sonne of Iehoiakim, whome Nebuchad-nezzar King of Babel made King in the land of Iudah.
2 Be hina bagade Sedegaia amola ea eagene ouligisu dunu amola Yuda dunu huluane da Hina Gode Ea sia: nama i, amo hame nabasu.
But neither he, nor his seruants, nor the people of the land would obey the wordes of the Lord, which he spake by the ministerie of the Prophet Ieremiah.

And Zedekiah the King sent Iehucal the sonne of Shelemiah, and Zephaniah the sonne of Maaseiah the Priest to the Prophet Ieremiah, saying, Pray now vnto the Lord our God for vs.

(Now Ieremiah went in and out among the people: for they had not put him into the prison.

Then Pharaohs hoste was come out of Egypt: and when the Caldeans that besieged Ierusalem, heard tidings of them, they departed from Ierusalem)

Then came the worde of the Lord vnto the Prophet Ieremiah, saying,

Thus sayth the Lord God of Israel, Thus shall ye say to the King of Iudah, that sent you vnto me to inquire of me, Behold, Pharaohs hoste, which is come forth to helpe you, shall returne to Egypt into their owne land.
8 Amasea, Ba: bilone dunu da bu misini, Yelusaleme amoma gegenanu, laluga ulagimu.
And the Caldeans shall come againe, and fight against this citie, and take it and burne it with fire.
9 Na, Hina Gode, da dima sisasu iaha. Dilia ogogole Ba: bilone dunu da bu hame misunu mae dawa: ma. Bai ilia da dafawane bu misunu.
Thus sayth the Lord, Deceiue not your selues, saying, The Caldeans shall surely depart from vs: for they shall not depart.
10 Amola dilia da Ba: bilone dadi gagui wa: i huluane hasali ganiaba, amola Ba: bilone fa: ginisi dunu fawane ilia abula diasu ganodini diasa: ili esala ganiaba, amo dunu da wa: legadole, dilia moilai bai bagade laluga nene dagoma: ne ulagila: loba.”
For though ye had smitten the whole hoste of the Caldeans that fight against you, and there remained but wounded men among them, yet should euery man rise vp in his tent, and burne this citie with fire.
11 Ba: bilone dadi gagui wa: i da Yelusaleme doagala: su yolesili, hobea: i. Bai ilia da Idibidi dadi gagui da doagala: musa: ahoanebe nabi.
When the hoste of the Caldeans was broken vp from Ierusalem, because of Pharaohs armie,
12 Amaiba: le, na da Yelusaleme yolesili, na soge (na fi ilia soge la: idi sogebi) Bediamini soge bagade amo ganodini diala, amo lamusa: , na da masunu dawa: i galu.
Then Ieremiah went out of Ierusalem to goe into the land of Beniamin, separating himselfe thence from among the people.

And when hee was in the gate of Beniamin, there was a chiefe officer, whose name was Iriiah, the sonne of Shelemiah, the sonne of Hananiah, and he tooke Ieremiah the Prophet, saying, Thou fleest to the Caldeans.
14 Be na da bu adole i, “Hame mabu! Na da hohonone dili yolesimu hame dawa: !” Be Ailaidia da na sia: hame nabi. E da na gagulaligili, eagene ouligisu dunu ilima hiouginana asi.
Then sayde Ieremiah, That is false, I flee not to the Caldeans: but he would not heare him: so Iriiah tooke Ieremiah, and brought him to the princes.
15 Ilia da nama bagadewane ougi amola ilia sia: beba: le, ilia da na fananu, sia: dedesu dunu Yonada: ne amo ea diasu ganodini sali. Bai ilia da ea diasu gagili ga: i diasu agoane hamoi dagoi.
Wherefore the princes were angry with Ieremiah, and smote him, and layde him in prison in the house of Iehonathan the scribe: for they had made that the prison.
16 Na da uli dogoi sesei osobo hagudu amo ganodini salabe ba: i. Amo ganodini na da eso bagohame esalu.
When Ieremiah was entred into the dungeon, and into the prisons, and had remained there a long time,
17 Fa: no, hina bagade Sedegaia da na ema misa: ne sia: i. E da wamowane, nama amane adole ba: i, “Hina Gode da ninima sia: adole iasibala: ?” Na da bu adole i, “Sia: galaiou! Di da Ba: bilone hina bagade amo ea loboga gagulaligi ba: mu.”
Then Zedekiah the King sent, and tooke him out, and the King asked him secretly in his house, and said, Is there any worde from the Lord? And Ieremiah sayd, Yea: for, sayd he, thou shalt be deliuered into the hand of the King of Babel.

Moreouer, Ieremiah sayd vnto King Zedekiah, What haue I offended against thee, or against thy seruants, or against this people, that ye haue put me in prison?
19 Dia balofede dunu da wali habila: ? Ilia da ogogole, Ba: bilone hina bagade da dima amola ninia soge amoma hame doagala: mu sia: i.
Where are nowe your prophets, which prophecied vnto you, saying, The King of Babel shall not come against you, nor against this land?
20 Amola wali, hina bagade, dia na sia: nabima: ne, na edegesa! Dia na gagili ga: i diasu amo Yonada: ne ea diasu ganodini amoga mae asunasima. Di agoane hamosea, na da amogawi dafawane bogomu.”
Therefore heare nowe, I pray thee, O my lorde the King: let my prayer be accepted before thee, that thou cause mee not to returne to the house of Iehonathan the scribe, least I die there.
21 Amaiba: le, hina bagade Sedegaia da ilia da na hina bagade diasu gagoi amo ganodini gagili ga: i diasu agoane esaloma: ne, logo ga: sima: ne sia: i. Na da amogawi esalu. Eso huluane ilia da agi ga: gi afadafa (agi ga: gi hamosu diasuga lai) nama ianu, agi ga: gi huluane Yelusaleme ganodini galu huluane dagobeba: le fawane yolesi.
Then Zedekiah the King commanded, that they should put Ieremiah in the court of the prison, and that they should giue him dayly a piece of bread out of the bakers streete vntill all the bread in the citie were eaten vp. Thus Ieremiah remained in the court of the prison.
