1 Yihoiagimi (Yousaia egefe) da Yuda hina bagade esaloba, Hina Gode da nama amane sia: i,
The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah, king of Judah, saying,
2 “Liga: be fi dunu ilima sia: musa: masa. Amasea, ili Debolo sesei afae amo ganodini oule asili, ilima waini hano moma: ne sia: ma.”
Go unto the house of the Rechabites, and speak unto them, and bring them into the house of the LORD, into one of the chambers, and give them wine to drink.

Then I took Jaazaniah the son of Jeremiah, the son of Habazziniah, and his brethren, and all his sons, and the whole house of the Rechabites;

and I brought them into the house of the LORD, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan the son of Igdaliah, the man of God, which was by the chamber of the princes, which was above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the door:
5 Amalalu, na da faigelei amola ofodo waini hano amoga nabai, amo Liga: be dunu ilia midadi ligisilalu, ilima amane sia: i, “Waini hano moma!”
And I set before the sons of the house of the Rechabites bowls full of wine, and cups, and I said unto them, Drink ye wine.
6 Be ilia da bu adole i, “Ninia da waini hano hame naha. Ninia aowalalia dunu Yonada: be (Liga: be egefe) da ninia amola ninigaga fi da waini hano maedafa moma: ne sia: i.
But they said, We will drink no wine: for Jonadab the son of Rechab our father commanded us, saying, Ye shall drink no wine, neither ye, nor your sons, for ever:
7 E da eno ninima sia: i, amo ninia da diasu mae gaguma: ne amola ifabi amola waini efe mae sagama: ne sia: i. E da ninia eso huluane abula diasu amo ganodini fawane esaloma: ne sia: i. Bai ninia da amo soge ganodini ga fi defele esaloma: ne sia: i.
neither shall ye build house, nor sow seed, nor plant vineyard, nor have any: but all your days ye shall dwell in tents; that ye may live many days in the land wherein ye sojourn.
8 Ninia da hamoma: ne sia: i huluane amo Yonada: be ea ninima olelei, amo nabawane hamonanu. Ninia, ninia uda, ninia dunu mano amola uda mano da waini hano hamedafa naha.
And we have obeyed the voice of Jonadab the son of Rechab our father in all that he charged us, to drink no wine all our days, we, our wives, our sons, nor our daughters;
nor to build houses for us to dwell in: neither have we vineyard, nor field, nor seed:
10 Ninia diasu hame gagusa. Be ninia da abula diasu ganodini esala. Ninia da waini sagai amola gagoma sagai amola soge hamedafa gagusa. Ninia aowalalia Yonada: be ea hamoma: ne sia: i huluane amoma fa: no bobogesu.
but we have dwelt in tents, and have obeyed, and done according to all that Jonadab our father commanded us.
11 Be hina bagade Nebiuga: denese da ninia sogega doagala: beba: le, ninia da Ba: bilone amola Silia dadi gagui wa: i ilima beda: iba: le, Yelusalemega misusa: dawa: i. Amaiba: le, ninia da wali Yelusaleme amo ganodini esala.”
But it came to pass, when Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came up into the land, that we said, Come, and let us go to Jerusalem for fear of the army of the Chaldeans, and for fear of the army of the Syrians; so we dwell at Jerusalem.
Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying,
13 Amalalu, Hina Gode Bagadedafa, Isala: ili fi ilia Gode, da nama na da Yuda fi dunu amola Yelusaleme dunu ilima amane sia: adole iasima: ne sia: i, “Na, Hina Gode, da dilima agoane adole ba: sa. Dilia da abuliba: le Na sia: hame nabala: ? Amola abuliba: le Na sema nabawane hame hamosala: ?
Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Go, and say to the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Will ye not receive instruction to hearken to my words? saith the LORD.
14 Yonada: be egaga fi da ea hamoma: ne sia: i amo ‘waini hano mae moma’ amo naba. Amola ilia huluane da eso huluane amola wali, waini hano hame naha. Be Na da dilima gebewane sia: nana, be dilia da hame naba.
The words of Jonadab the son of Rechab, that he commanded his sons, not to drink wine, are performed, and unto this day they drink none, for they obey their father’s commandment: but I have spoken unto you, rising up early and speaking; and ye have not hearkened unto me.
15 Na da dilima Na hawa: hamosu dunu (balofede dunu) huluane gebewane asunasilalu, amola ilia da dilima dilia wadela: i hou yolesili, moloidafa hamoma: ne sia: i. Ilia da dilima sisane, ogogosu ‘gode’ ilima mae hawa: hamoma: ne amola mae nodone sia: ne gadoma: ne sia: su. Dilia da soge amo Na da dilia amola dilia aowalali ilima i, amo ganodini hahawane esaloma: ne agoane hamoma: ne sia: i. Be dilia da Na sia: hamedafa nabi amola hamedafa dawa: digisu.
I have sent also unto you all my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, Return ye now every man from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go not after other gods to serve them, and ye shall dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers: but ye have not inclined your ear, nor hearkened unto me.
16 Yonada: be egaga fi da ilia aowalalia dunu ilia sia: nabi dagoi, be dilia da Na sia: hamedafa nabasu.
Forasmuch as the sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab have performed the commandment of their father which he commanded them, but this people hath not hearkened unto me;
17 Amaiba: le, wali Na, Hina Gode Bagadedafa, Isala: ili fi ilia Gode, Na da dilia Yuda fi dunu amola Yelusaleme fi dunu, dilima se iasu amola wadela: su Na musa: ilegei amo dilima iasimu. Bai Na da dilima sia: beba: le, dilia da hame nabasu amola Na da dilima wele sia: beba: le, dilia da dabe hame alofesu.”
therefore thus saith the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel: Behold, I will bring upon Judah and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced against them: because I have spoken unto them, but they have not heard; and I have called unto them, but they have not answered.
18 Amalalu, na da Liga: be fi dunu ilima Hina Gode Bagadedafa, Isala: ili fi ilia Gode, amo Ea sia: ilima amane alofele i, “Dilia da dilia aowalalia Yonada: be ea sia: amoma fa: no bobogei. Ea hamoma: ne sia: i amola olelesu huluane dilia da nabi dagoi.
And Jeremiah said unto the house of the Rechabites, Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Because ye have obeyed the commandment of Jonadab your father, and kept all his precepts, and done according unto all that he commanded you;
19 Amaiba: le, Na, Hina Gode Bagadedafa, Isala: ili fi ilia Gode, Na da amane ilegesa. Eso huluane, Yonada: be (Liga: be egefe) amo egaga fi dunu afae da Na hawa: hamonanebe ba: mu.”
therefore thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel: Jonadab the son of Rechab shall not want a man to stand before me for ever.
