1 Isala: ili fi dunu! Hina Gode Ea sia: dilima sia: i amo nabima!
Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel:
2 E da amane sia: sa, “Eno ga fi dunu ilia hou amoma mae fa: no bobogema! Dilia da mu amo ganodini fofogadigisu dawa: ma: ne hahamosu ba: sea, mae beda: ma! Eno fifi asi gala da beda: mu be dilia mae beda: ma!
Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
3 Amo dunu ilia sia: ne gadosu hou da hamedei. Ilia da iwilaga ifa damuni fasili, ifa hahamosu dunu da amo osole dedesa.
For the customs of the people [are] vain: for [one] cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.
4 Ilia da amo silifa amola gouli amoga nina: hamosa. Amo da dafasa: besa: le, ilia da gafesi amoga dabagala: sa.
They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.
5 Amo udigili loboga hamoi liligi da sio beda: ma: ne liligi ifabia legei agoane ba: sa. Ilia da sia: mu gogolesa. Amola masunu gogoleiba: le, enoga gaguli ahoa. Ilima mae beda: ma! Bai amo udigili liligi da dili wadela: lesimu da hamedei. Amola dilima hahawane hou iasimusa: hame dawa:”
They [are] upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also [is it] in them to do good.
6 Hina Gode! Dunu eno Di agoai da hamedafa esala. Bai Di da Bagadedafa! Amola Dia Dio da gasa bagadedafa!
Forasmuch as [there is] none like unto thee, O LORD; thou [art] great, and thy name [is] great in might.
7 Di da fifi asi gala huluanedafa ilima Hina Bagade. Dunu huluane da Dima nodomu da defea. Fifi asi gala huluane amo ganodini da bagade dawa: su dunu amola hina bagade dunu. Be ilia da Di agoai hamedafa. Di da huluane baligisa.
Who would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise [men] of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, [there is] none like unto thee.
8 Ilia huluane da gagaoui agoai. Ilia da ifaga hamoi ogogosu ‘gode’ ilima dawa: su lamu da hamedei.
But they are altogether brutish and foolish: the stock [is] a doctrine of vanities.
9 Ilia loboga hamoi ‘gode’ da silifa (Siba: ini sogega lai) amola gouli (Iufa: se moilai bai bagadega lai) amoga dedeboi. Bagade dawa: su dedesu dunu da amo hahamoi. Amola bagade dawa: su abula amunisu dunu da yoi amola haisewe abula amuni ilima gasisanasisa.
Silver spread into plates is brought from Tarshish, and gold from Uphaz, the work of the workman, and of the hands of the founder: blue and purple [is] their clothing: they [are] all the work of cunning [men].
10 Be Di, Hina Gode, Di fawane da Godedafa. Di da Godedafa Esala. Amola Di da Mae Bogole Fifi Ahoanusu Hina Bagade. Di da ougi galea, osobo bagade da fofogosa. Amola fifi asi gala dunu huluane da bagade beda: sa.
But the LORD [is] the true God, he [is] the living God, and an everlasting king: at his wrath the earth shall tremble, and the nations shall not be able to abide his indignation.
11 (Dilia Isala: ili dunu! Fifi asi gala huluane amane olelema, “Ogogosu ‘gode’ da osobo bagade amola mu hame hahamoi. Ilia huluane da wadela: lesi dagoi ba: mu. Ilia da osobo bagadega hame dialebe ba: mu.”)
Thus shall ye say unto them, The gods that have not made the heavens and the earth, [even] they shall perish from the earth, and from under these heavens.
12 Hina Gode da Ea gasaga osobo bagade hahamoi. Ea bagade dawa: su amoga E da osobo bagade hahamoi amola mu fadegale gai.
He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heavens by his discretion.
13 Ea sia: beba: le, hano muagado gadodili dialebe da gosa. E da osobo bagade bega: bega: amoga mumobi gaguli misini, gilisisa. E da gibu ganodini ha: ha: na nene gala: ma: ne hamosa. E da Ea liligi ligisisu amoga fo asula ahoa.
When he uttereth his voice, [there is] a multitude of waters in the heavens, and he causeth the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth; he maketh lightnings with rain, and bringeth forth the wind out of his treasures.
14 Dunu da amo gasa bagade hou ba: beba: le, gagaoui agoane ahoa. Dunu da ogogosu loboga hamoi ‘gode’ hamosa, amo ilia dafawaneyale dawa: su hou da hamedei ba: sa. Bai ilia loboga hamoi ogogosu ‘gode’ da hame esala amola hamedei liligi gala.
Every man is brutish in [his] knowledge: every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image [is] falsehood, and [there is] no breath in them.
15 Ilia da hamedei liligi. Amola dunu da ili higamu da defea. Hina Gode da ili wadela: musa: masea, ilia da wadela: lesi dagoi ba: mu.
They [are] vanity, [and] the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.
16 Be Ya: igobe ea Gode da ili agoai hame. E da liligi huluane hahamoi dagoi. E da Isala: ili, Ea fidafa amo hamoma: ne ilegei. Ea Dio da Hina Gode Bagadedafa.
The portion of Jacob [is] not like them: for he [is] the former of all [things; ] and Israel [is] the rod of his inheritance: The LORD of hosts [is] his name.
17 Yelusaleme dunu! Ha lai da dilima doagala: lala. Dilia liligi momagema!
Gather up thy wares out of the land, O inhabitant of the fortress.
18 Hina Gode da dili amo dilia sogega mugululi ga fadegale fasimu. E da dili gougoudane, dilia afae dili soge ganodini esalebe hame ba: mu. Hina Gode da sia: i dagoi.
For thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will sling out the inhabitants of the land at this once, and will distress them, that they may find [it so].
19 Yelusaleme fi dunu da amane digini wele sia: i, “Ninia da se bagade nabi. Ninia fa: ginisi da uhimu hame dawa: Ninia da amo se nabasu ganodini baligimu dawa: i be hamedei.
Woe is me for my hurt! my wound is grievous: but I said, Truly this [is] a grief, and I must bear it.
20 Ninia abula diasu da wadela: lesi dagoi. Efe amo da abula diasu la: gi da damui dagoi. Ninia mano huluane da asi dagoi. Ninia abula diasu bu gaguma: ne da dunu hame gala. Logo ga: su abula gosagisimu da dunu hame.”
My tabernacle is spoiled, and all my cords are broken: my children are gone forth of me, and they [are] not: [there is] none to stretch forth my tent any more, and to set up my curtains.
21 Na da bu adole i, “Ninia ouligisu dunu da gagaoui gala. Ilia da dafai dagoi, amola ninia dunu huluane da afagogoi dagoi ba: sa. Bai ouligisu dunu da Hina Gode Ea fada: i sia: lama: ne amo Ema hame adole ba: sa.
For the pastors are become brutish, and have not sought the LORD: therefore they shall not prosper, and all their flocks shall be scattered.
22 Nabima! Sia: da doaga: i dagoi. Fi bagade gagoe (north) gala amo ganodini ha lasu bagade naba. Ilia dadi gagui da Yuda soge wadela: lalu, amo da hafoga: i dunu hame esalebe soge agoane ba: mu. Amola amo ganodini, sigua wa: me fawane esalebe ba: mu.”
Behold, the noise of the bruit is come, and a great commotion out of the north country, to make the cities of Judah desolate, [and] a den of dragons.
23 Hina Gode! Na dawa: ! Dunu afae afae huluane da ema misunu hou amoma ouligisu hame gala. E da ea esalusu amoma hina hame gala.
O LORD, I know that the way of man [is] not in himself: [it is] not in man that walketh to direct his steps.
24 Hina Gode! Dia fi dunu ilia hou afadenene hahamoma! Be se iasu baligili ninima mae ima. Amola Dia ougiba: le se baligili mae ima. Bai ninia udigili bogosa: besa: le, ninima asigima.
O LORD, correct me, but with judgment; not in thine anger, lest thou bring me to nothing.
25 Di sinidigili, fifi asi gala amo da Dima higale nodone hame sia: ne gadosa, ilima ougima. Bai ilia da Dia fi dunu medole legei dagoi. Ilia da nini wadela: lesidafa, amola ilia da ninia soge wadela: lesilalu fisili asi.
Pour out thy fury upon the heathen that know thee not, and upon the families that call not on thy name: for they have eaten up Jacob, and devoured him, and consumed him, and have made his habitation desolate.
