< Ya:mese 2 >

1 Na fi dunu! Dilia da Hina Gode Yesu Gelesu, hadigi Hinadafa, amo Ea hou lalegaguiba: le, dilia dunu eno ilia dabua ba: su dawa: beba: le, ilima hisu hisu agoane hamomu da dilima hamedei.
My brothers, do not hold the faith of our Lord Jesus Christ of glory with partiality.
2 Agoane dawa: ma! Dilia gilisisu amoga bagade gagui dunu gouli lobo sogoga salasu, abula ida: iwane ga: i amola hame gagui dunu abula wadela: i ga: i, ela gilisili masea,
For if someone with a gold ring, in fine clothing, comes into your synagogue, and a poor person in filthy clothing also comes in;
3
and you pay special attention to the one who wears the fine clothing, and say, "Sit here in a good place;" but you tell the poor person, "Stand there," or "Sit by my footstool."
4 dilia bagade gagui dunu ema amane sia: sea, “Fisu ida: iwane guiguda: fima!” be hame gagui dunuma amane sia: sea, “Di ga leloma o na emo gadenene fima!” dilia amane sia: sea, dilia dunu hisu hisu agoane ba: sa amola dilia asigi dawa: su ganodini wadela: le fofada: beba: le, dunu da hisu hisu ba: sa amo olelesa.
Have you not discriminated among yourselves, and become judges with evil thoughts?
5 Na dogolegei fi dunu! Nabima!
Listen, my beloved brothers. Did not God choose those who are poor in this world to be rich in faith, and heirs of the Kingdom which he promised to those who love him?
6 Be dilia da hame gagui dunuma gadesa. Be nowa dunu ilia da dilia hou wadela: sa, amola dilia hou wadela: musa: dili fofada: su dunuma fofada: musa: hiouginanala: ? Bagade gagui dunu ili fawane!
But you have dishonored the poor person. Do not the rich oppress you, and personally drag you before the courts?
Do not they blaspheme the honorable name by which you are called?
8 Gode Ea Hinadafa Hou sema da Gode Sia: amo ganodini agoane dedei diala, “Disu da: i hodo amoma asigi hou defele, eno dunuma asigima!” Amo nabawane hamosea, dilia da hou ida: iwane hamosu dunu agoane ba: mu.
However, if you fulfill the royal law, according to the Scripture, "You are to love your neighbor as yourself," you do well.
9 Be dilia da dunu ilia dabua ba: su hou amo dawa: beba: le, ilima hisu hisu agoane hamosea, dilia da wadela: i hamosa. Dilia da agoane hamosea, Gode Ea sema da dilima diliwaneya udidisa.
But if you show partiality, you commit sin, being convicted by the law as transgressors.
10 Nowa dunu da Gode Ea sema afadafa fawane wadela: sea, e da sema huluanedafa wadela: lesi dagoi.
For whoever keeps the whole law, and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all.
For he who said, "Do not commit adultery," also said, "Do not commit murder." Now if you do not commit adultery, but murder, you have become a transgressor of the law.
So speak, and so do, as those who are to be judged by a law of freedom.
For judgment is without mercy to him who has shown no mercy. Mercy triumphs over judgment.
Hame mabu!
What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith, but has no works? Can faith save him?
15 Dilia fi amo ganodini, dilia fi dunu o uda da abula hame amola ha: i manu hame, agoaiwane esalebe ba: sea,
And if a brother or sister is poorly clothed and may be lacking in daily food,
Hame mabu!
and one of you tells them, "Go in peace, be warmed and filled;" and yet you did not give them the things the body needs, what good is it?
Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself.
But someone will say, "You have faith, and I have works." Show me your faith without works, and I by my works will show you my faith.
19 Gode afadafa esala, amo dilia dafawaneyale dawa: bela: ? Defea! Be Fio a: silibu huluane, ilia amo defele dafawaneyale dawa: beba: le, beda: iba: le yagugusa.
You believe that God is one. You do well. The demons also believe, and shudder.
But do you want to know, foolish person, that faith apart from works is useless?
21 Gode da ninia aowalali ada A: ibalaha: me habodane afadenene bu moloidafa hamoi ba: bela: ? A: ibalaha: me da Aisage oloda da: iya ligisi, amo hawa: hamobeba: le, Gode da A: ibalaha: me afadenene bu moloidafa hamoi dagoi ba: i.
Wasn't Abraham our father justified by works, in that he offered up Isaac his son on the altar?
22 Dilia hame ba: sala: ? A: ibalaha: me ea dafawaneyale dawa: su hou amola ea hawa: hamosu, da gilisili ea houdafa olelesu.
You see that faith worked with his works, and by works faith was perfected;
23 Amaiba: le, Gode Sia: Dedei da dafawane ba: i, amane, “A: ibalaha: me da Gode dafawaneyale dawa: beba: le, Gode da A: ibalaha: me afadenene bu moloidafa hamoi dagoi ba: i.”
and the Scripture was fulfilled which says, "And Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness;" and he was called the friend of God.
You see that a person is justified by works and not by faith alone.
25 Musa: wadela: i uda ea dio amo La: ihabe, ea hou agoaiwane ba: su. E da Isala: ili desega misi dunu ilima aowalalu, ilima hobeale masunu logo olelei. Amo hawa: hamobeba: le, Gode da La: iha: be moloidafa hamoi dagoi ba: i.
In like manner was not Rahab the prostitute also justified by works, in that she received the messengers, and sent them out another way?
For as the body apart from the spirit is dead, even so faith apart from works is dead.
