< Aisaia 38 >
1 Amo esoga agoane, hina bagade Hesigaia da olole, gadenenewane bogoi. Balofede dunu Aisaia (A: imose egefe) da ema ba: la asili, ema amane sia: i, “Hina Gode da dima dia hou amola liligi hahamoma: ne sia: sa. Bai di da hame uhimu. Di bogoma: ne momagema.”
In those days has Hezekiah been sick to death, and Isaiah son of Amoz, the prophet, comes to him and says to him, “Thus said YHWH: Give a charge to your house, for you [are] dying, and do not live.”
2 Hesigaia da ea odagi dobea amoga delegili, amane sia: ne gadoi,
And Hezekiah turns around his face to the wall, and prays to YHWH,
3 “Hina Gode! Dawa: ma! Na da mae fisili, Dia hawa: hamosu hamonanu. Na da Dia hanai hamoma: ne, eso huluane hawa: hamomusa: dawa: i.” Amalalu, e da se nabawane ha: giwane dinanu.
and says, “Ah, now, O YHWH, please remember how I have habitually walked before You in truth, and with a perfect heart, and I have done that which [is] good in your eyes”; and Hezekiah weeps [with] a great weeping.
4 Amalalu, Hina Gode da Aisaia amoma,
And a word of YHWH is to Isaiah, saying,

“Go, and you have said to Hezekiah, Thus said YHWH, God of your father David: I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tear, behold, I am adding fifteen years to your days,

and out of the hand of the king of Asshur I deliver you and this city, and have covered over this city.
7 Aisaia da Hesigaiama bu adole i, (Hesigaia da Aisaia 38:22 amo ganodini adole ba: i) “Hina Gode da Ea sia: i da dafawaneyale olelema: ne, dima dawa: digisu hahamomu, agoane,
And this [is] to you the sign from YHWH, that YHWH does this thing that He has spoken.
8 hina bagade A: iha: se ea fa: gu gagui, amoga eso baba ea ba: su da delegili, fa: gu bubulufai nabuane amoga buhagimu.” Amola eso ea baba da bu delegili, fa: gu bubulufai nabuane bu sinidigi.
Behold, I am bringing back the shadow of the degrees that it has gone down on the degrees of Ahaz, by the sun, backward ten degrees”; and the sun turns back ten degrees in the degrees that it had gone down.
9 Hesigaia ea oloi da uhini, amo nodosu gesami hea: su dedei,
A writing of Hezekiah king of Judah concerning his being sick when he revives from his sickness:
10 “Na da na esalebe eso amoga, bogoi sogebi amoga masusa: dawa: i galu. Na da na esalebe defei, defele esalumu hame dawa: i. (Sheol )
“I said in the cutting off of my days, I go to the gates of Sheol, I have numbered the remnant of my years. (Sheol )
11 Na da osobo bagadega (dunu esalebe ilia soge), Hina Gode amola esalebe dunu bu hame ba: musa: dawa: i galu.
I said, I do not see YAH—YAH! In the land of the living, I do not behold man anymore, With the inhabitants of the world.
12 Na esalusu da hedofai dagoi ba: i. Abula diasu mugului amola abula amo da amunisu amoga hedofai, na esalusu da amo defele hedofai dagoi ba: i. Gode da na esalusu dagomusa: , na da dawa: i dagoi.
My sojourning has departed, And been removed from me as a shepherd’s tent, I have drawn together, as a weaver, my life, By weakness it cuts me off, From day to night You end me.
13 Na da se bagade, laione wa: me da na gasa huluane filalu defele, amo nababeba: le, gasia dinanu. Gode da na esalusu dagolesima: bela: le, na da dawa: i dagoi.
I have set [Him] as a lion until morning, So He breaks all my bones, From day to night You end me.
14 Na sia: da gasa hame agoai nabi. Na da “dafe” sio defele gogonomasu. Na da Hebene amoga ba: le gadolalebeba: le, na si da helei bagade nabi. Hina Gode! Amo bidi hamosu amoga na gaga: ma!
As a crane—a swallow—so I chatter, I mourn as a dove, My eyes have been drawn up on high, O YHWH, oppression [is] on me, be my guarantor.
15 Na da adi sia: ma: bela: ? Hina Gode da amo hou hamoi. Na dogo ganodini se naba. Na da golamu hamedei agoane ba: su.
What do I say? Seeing He spoke to me, And He Himself has worked, I go softly all my years for the bitterness of my soul.
16 Hina Gode! Na da Dima hawa: hamoma: ne fawane esalumu. Na oloi uhinisima! Na esaloma: ne, Dia logo fodoma! Uhinisima!
Lord, [men] live by these, And by all in them [is] the life of my spirit, And You save me, make me to also live,
17 Na da: i diosu da sinidigili, olofosu ba: mu. Di da na bidi hamosu huluane mae ba: ma: ne, gaga: sa. Di da na wadela: i hou huluane gogolema: ne olofosa.
Behold, He changed bitterness to peace for me, And You have delighted in my soul without corruption, For You have cast all my sins behind Your back.
18 Dunu ilia da bogoi sogebi amoga Dima nodomusa: hame dawa: Bogoi dunu da Dia mae fisili moloidafa hou amo dafawaneyale dawa: ma: ne hame dawa: (Sheol )
For Sheol does not confess You, Death does not praise You, Those going down to the pit do not hope for Your truth. (Sheol )
19 Esalebe dunu, ilia fawane da na waha Dima nodosu defele, Dima nodone sia: ne gadosu dawa: Osobo bagade eda ilia da ilia mano ilima Dia mae fisili fidisu hou olelesa.
The living, the living, he confesses You,
20 Hina Gode! Di da na uhinisi dagoi. Ninia da sani baidama dumu amola Dima nodoma: ne gesami hea: mu. Ninia da Dia Debolo Diasu ganodini, eso huluane ninia esalea, Dima nodone gesami hea: mu.”
Like myself today; A father makes known to [his] sons of Your faithfulness, O YHWH—to save me: And we sing my songs all [the] days of our lives In the house of YHWH.”
21 Aisaia da hina bagade Hesigaiama e da figi goudane, manoma hamoi amo ea dului amoga legelalu, e da uhini dagoi ba: ma: ne sia: i.
And Isaiah says, “Let them take a bunch of figs, and plaster over the ulcer, and he lives.”
22 Amola hina bagade da musa: ema amane adole ba: i, “Na da Debolo Diasuga heda: mu defele ba: musa: , Hina Gode da adi dawa: digisu hahamosu olelema: bela: ?” (Aisaia 38:7 ba: ma)
And Hezekiah says, “What [is] the sign that I go up to the house of YHWH?”
