1 Hina bagade Hesigaia da ilia sia: ne iasu nababeba: le, da: i dioiba: le ea abula gadelale, wadela: i eboboi abula idiniginisili, Hina Gode Ea Debolo Diasuga asi.
And it came to pass, when king Ezekias heard [it, that] he tore his clothes, and put on sackcloth, and went up to the house of the Lord.
2 E da Ilaiagime (hina bagade ea diasu ouligisu dunu) amola Siebena (hina bagade ea sia: dedesu dunu) amola gobele salasu ouligisu dunu amo balofede dunu Aisaia (A: imose egefe) ema asunasi. Ilia amola da wadela: i eboboi abula amoga idiniginisili ahoanu.
And he sent Heliakim the steward, and Somnas the scribe, and the elders of the priests clothed with sackcloth, to Esaias the son of Amos, the prophet. And they said to him, Thus says Ezekias,
3 Hesigaia da sia: beba: le, ilia da Aisaiama amane sia: i, “Wali eso da se nabasu eso. Ninia da se iasu ba: i dagoi amola gogosia: i bagade. Ninia da uda amo mano lalelegemu gala, be gasa hameba: le, lalelegemu hamedei, nini da agoaiwane gala.
To-day is a day of affliction, and reproach, and rebuke, and anger: for the pangs are come upon the travailing [woman], but she has not strength to bring forth.
4 Asilia hina bagade da ea bisilua ouligisu dunu amo Esalebe Gode Ema gademusa: asunasi dagoi. Dia Hina Gode da amo gadesu nabalu amola dunu da gadesu sia: i, ilima se imunu da defea. Amaiba: le, ninia fi dunu amo da mae bogole esalebe ba: sea, amo fidima: ne, di Godema sia: ne gadoma.”
May the Lord your God hear the words of Rabsaces, which the king of the Assyrians has sent, to reproach the living God, even to reproach with the words which the Lord your God has heard: therefore you shall pray to your Lord for these that are left.
5 Aisaia da hina bagade Hesigaia ea sia: ne iasu nababeba: le,
So the servants of king Ezekias came to Esaias.
6 e da amo sia: bu adole iasi, “Asilia dunu da dili beda: ma: ne, Hina Gode da dilia gaga: mu hamedei sia: sa. Be Hina Gode da dili mae beda: ma: ne sia: sa.
And Esaias said to them, Thus shall you say to your master, Thus says the Lord, Be not you afraid at the words which you have heard, wherewith the ambassadors of the king of the Assyrians have reproached me,
7 Hina Gode da hamobeba: le, Asilia hina bagade da udigili sia: ne iasu nababeba: le, hi sogega buhagimu. Amasea, Hina Gode da hamobeba: le, amogawi eno dunu da Asilia hina bagade fane legemu.”
Behold, I [will] send a blast upon him, and he shall hear a report, and return to his own country, and he shall fall by the sword in his own land.
8 Asilia bisilua ouligisu da hina bagade da La: igisi fisili, Libina moilaiga gegemusa: asi, amo nabi. Amaiba: le, e da amoga ea sia: nabimusa: asi.
So Rabsaces returned, and found the king of the Assyrians besieging Lobna: for he had heard that he had departed from Lachis.

And Tharaca king of the Ethiopians went forth to attack him. And when he heard it, he turned aside, and sent messengers to Ezekias, saying,

Thus shall you say to Ezekias king of Judea, Let not your God, in whom you trust, deceive you, saying, Jerusalem shall not be delivered into the hand of the king of the Assyrians.
11 Di da sia: ne iasu nabi dagoi. Asilia hina bagade da adi fifi asi gala wadela: musa: ilegesea, e da ea hanaiga agoane hamosa. Di da hobeale masunu logo ba: ma: ne dawa: bela: ? Hame mabu!
Hast you not heard what the kings of the Assyrians have done, how they have destroyed the whole earth? and shall you be delivered?
12 Na musa: fi dunu da Gousa: ne, Ha: ila: ne amola Lisefe, amo moilai bai bagade wadela: lesi dagoi. Amola ilia da Bedidene dunu Dila: sa moilai bai bagade amo ganodini esalu, fane legei dagoi. Amola ilia ‘gode’ liligi ili gaga: mu hamedei ba: i.
Have the gods of the nations which my fathers destroyed delivered them, both Gozan, and Charrhan, and Rapheth, which are in the land of Theemath?
13 Ha: ima: de, A:ba: de, Sefafa: ime, Hina amola Aifa, ilia hina bagade dunu da habila: ?”
Where are the kings of Emath? and where [is the king of] Arphath? and where [is the king] of the city of Eppharuaim, [and of] Anagugana?
14 Hina bagade Hesigaia da meloa dedei amo sia: adole iasu dunuma lale, idi. Amalalu, e da Debolo diasuga asili, Hina Gode da meloa dedei ba: ma: ne, ligisi.
And Ezekias received the letter from the messengers, and read it, and went up to the house of the Lord, and opened it before the Lord.
15 Amola e da amane sia: ne gadoi,
And Ezekias prayed to the Lord, saying,
16 “Isala: ili Hina Gode Bagadedafa! Di da Dia fisu amo ougia gala esalebe liligi gadodili diala amoga fili, Disu da Godedafa amola Disu da osobo bagade fifi asi gala huluane ilima Hina esala. Disu da osobo bagade amola mu hahamoi.
O Lord of hosts, God of Israel, who sit upon the cherubs, you alone are the God of every kingdom of the world: you have made heaven and earth.
17 Wali, Hina Gode! Ninia sia: nabima! Amola ninima doaga: i hou ba: ma! Gode Esalebe! Sena: gelibi ea Dima gadesu sia: nabima!
Incline your ear, O Lord, listen, O Lord; open your eyes, O Lord, look, O Lord: and behold the words of Sennacherim, which he has sent to reproach the living God.
18 Hina Gode! Asilia hina bagade ilia da fifi asi gala bagohame wadela: lesi dagoi, amola ilia soge wadela: lesilalu asi. Amo ninia dawa:
For of a truth, Lord, the kings of the Assyrians have laid waste the whole world, and the countries thereof,
19 Amola ilia da amo dunu ilia ‘gode’ liligi laluga ulagisi. (Be amo ‘gode’ liligi da ‘gode’ hame. Ilia da udigili ‘gode’ liligi loboga hamoi. Ilia da amo liligi ifa amola igiga hamoi.)
and have cast their idols into the fire: for, they were no gods, but the work of men's hands, wood and stone; and they have cast them away.
20 Defea! Ninia Hina Gode! Osobo bagade fifi asi gala huluane amo Disu fawane da Godedafa dawa: ma: ne, Dia nini, Asilia dunu nini mae wadela: lesima: ne, gaga: ma.
But now, O Lord our God, deliver us from his hands, that every kingdom of the earth may know that you are God alone.
21 Amalalu, Aisaia da hina bagade Hesigaiama sia: adole iasi. Hina Gode da Hesigaia ea sia: ne gadosu nababeba: le, E da bu Sena: gelibi ema sia: adole iasima: ne, sia: i,
And Esaias the son of Amos was sent to Ezekias, and said to him, Thus says the Lord, the God of Israel, I have heard your prayer to me concerning Sennacherim king of the Assyrians.
22 “Sena: gelibi! Yelusaleme fi da di higasa amola dia houba: le oufesega: sa.
This is the word which God has spoken concerning him; The virgin daughter of Sion has despised you, and mocked you; the daughter of Jerusalem has shaken her head at you.
23 Di da nowama gadesu amola fofonobosu, di adi dawa: bela: ? Di da Na, Isala: ili Hadigi Gode amoma mae nodone, gadesa.
Whom have you reproached and provoked? and against whom have you lifted up your voice? and have you not lifted up your eyes on high against the Holy One of Israel?
24 Di da Nama hidale sia: ma: ne, di sia: adole iasu dunu asunasi. Di da dia sa: liode amoga Lebanone baligili heda: i goumi hasanasi, hidale sia: i. Di da gadodafa heda: i dolo ifa amola noga: idafa “saibalase” ifa hedofale, amola iwila bagade ganodini golili sa: ili dogoadafa doaga: i, di da hidale agoane sia: i.
For you have reproached the Lord by messengers; for you have said, With the multitude of chariots have I ascended to the height of mountains, and to the sides of Libanus; and I have cropped the height of his cedars and the beauty of his cypresses; and I entered into the height of the forest region:
25 Di da si dogone amola ga fi dunu ilia soge ganodini hano mai, amola dia dadi gagui dunu ilia da Naile Hano amoga ososa: giba: le, amo hano da hafoga: i dagoi, amo di da hidale sia: i.
and I have made a bridge, and dried up the waters, and every pool of water.
26 Be di da hame nabibala: ? Na da musa: hemonega, amo hou huluane ilegei dagoi. Amola wali Na da amo hou hamoi dagoi. Na da dima gagili sali moilai bai bagade amo isu legesu hamomusa: wadela: lesima: ne, amo Nisu da dima gasa i.
Hast you not heard of these things which I did of old? I appointed [them] from ancient times; but now have I manifested [my purpose] of desolating nations in [their] strong holds, and them that dwell in strong cities.
27 Dunu amo ganodini esalu, ilia gasa da hamedei galu. Ilia da bagadewane beda: iba: le, asigi dawa: su hobea: i dagoi. Ilia da ifabi gisi ganodini o gagalobo diasu da: iya gadodili bugi, amo da gia: i bagade gusudi mabe fo masea, biobe, amo defele ba: i.
I weakened [their] hands, and they withered; and they became as dry grass on the housetops, and as grass.
28 Be dia hou huluane amola dia ahoabe Na dawa: Di da Nama gasa fili ougili sia: be Na dawa:
But now I know your rest, and your going out, and your coming in.
29 Na da amo Nama gasa fili ougi sia: sia: ne iasu lai dagoi. Amola wali Na da dia mi amoga ma: go heda: mu, amola dia lafi ganodini ouli daba: misimu. Amola Na da logo di misi, amoga di bu hiouginana masunu.”
And your wrath wherewith you have been enraged, and your rancour has come up to me; therefore I will put a hook in your nose, and a bit in your lips, and will turn you back by the way by which you came.
30 Amalalu, Aisaia da hina bagade Hesigaiama amane sia: i, “Fa: no misunu hou dawa: digisu hahamosu ba: ma! Wali ode amola aya ode dilia da ha: i manu udigili sogega heda: i fawane manu. Be gasida ode, di da gagoma sagai faimu, amola dilia da waini efe sagai fage manu.
And this shall be a sign to you, Eat this year what you have sown; and the second year that which is left: and the third year sow, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
31 Nowa dunu ilia da Yuda soge ganodini mae bogole esala, da sagai liligi amo ilia difi da osoba gududafa daha, amola fage noga: i legesa amo defele ba: mu.
And they that are left in Judea shall take root downward, and bear fruit upward:
32 Hina Gode Bagadedafa da amo hamoma: ne sia: i dagoiba: le, dunu mogili da Yelusalemega amola Saione Goumiga mae bogole esalebe ba: mu.
for out of Jerusalem there shall be a remnant, and the saved ones out of mount Sion: the zeal of the Lord of hosts shall perform this.
33 Hina Gode da Asilia hina bagade ea hou olelema: ne, amane sia: i, “E da amo moilai bai bagade golili hame sa: imu. E da dadi afae amoga hame gala: mu. Dadi gagui dunu gaga: su liligi gaguiwane da moilai bai bagade gadenene hamedafa misunu. Amola, moilai bai bagade gagoi wadela: lesima: ne, ilia da osobo bi hame gagagula heda: mu.
Therefore thus says the Lord concerning the king of the Assyrians, He shall not enter into this city, nor cast a weapon against it, nor bring a shield against it, nor make a rampart round it.
34 E da moilai bai bagade mae golili sa: ili, ea misi logo amoga buhagimu. Bai Na, Hina Gode, da sia: i dagoi.
But by the way by which he came, by it shall he return, and shall not enter into this city: thus says the Lord.
35 Dunu huluane da Na hou da moloidafa dawa: ma: ne, amola Na da Na hawa: hamosu dunu Da: ibidi ema sia: i dagoiba: le, Na da Yelusaleme gaga: mu,” Hina Gode da amane sia: i.
I will protect this city to save it for my own sake, and for my servant David's sake.
36 Hina Gode Ea a: igele dunu da gasia Asilia fisisu amoga asili, dadi gagui dunu 185,000 agoane fane legei dagoi. Hahabe, ilia huluane bogoi dialebe ba: i.
And the angel of the Lord went forth, and killed out of the camp of the Assyrians a hundred and eighty-five thousand: and they arose in the morning and found all [these] bodies dead.
37 Amalalu, Asilia hina bagade Sena: gelibi da fisili, Ninefe moilai bai bagadega sinidigi.
And Sennacherim king of the Assyrians turned and departed, and lived in Nineve.
38 Eso afaega, e da ea ‘gode’ liligi amo Niseloge ea sia: ne gadosu diasu ganodini sia: ne gadolalebe, egefe aduna amo A: dala: melege amola Sialisa da elea gobiheiga e medole legele, hobeale, Elala: de sogega hobea: i. Egefe eno amo Isaha: done, da Sena: gelibi ea hina bagade sogebi lai dagoi.
And while he was worshipping Nasarach his country's god in the house, Adramelech and Sarasar his sons struck him with swords; and they escaped into Armenia: and Asordan his son reigned in his stead.
