Hosia 8
1 Hina Gode da amane sia: sa, “Dawa: digima: ne ga: ga: ma! Buhiba da gogili daha, amo defele, ha lai dunu da Na soge doagala: sa. Na fi dunu da gousa: su Na da ilima hamoi, amo fi dagoi amola Na olelesu amoga lelei dagoi.
Put the trumpet to thy mouth! Like an eagle cometh an enemy against the house of Jehovah, Because they have transgressed my covenant, And have rebelled against my law.
2 Ilia da ogogole Na da ilia Gode sia: sa, amola ilia da Na fi ilia sia: sa, amola ilia Na dawa: ilisu sia: sa.
They shall say to me, My God, we know thee, we, thine Israel!
3 Be ilia da moloidafa hou higale yolesiagai dagoi. Amaiba: le, ilia ha lai dunu da ili sefasimu.
Israel hath cast away what is good; The enemy shall pursue him.
4 Na fi dunu da hina bagade ilelegei. Be ilisu da amo hou hamosu. Ilia da ouligisu dunu ilelegei. Be ilia Nama hame adole ba: i. Ilia da ilia silifa amola gouli lale, ogogosu ‘gode’ loboga hamoi. Be amo liligi da ilia hou wadela: lesimu fawane.
They have set up kings, but not by me; They have made princes, and I knew it not. Of their silver and their gold have they made themselves idols, That they may be brought to destruction.
5 Na da gouliga hamoi bulamagau gawali (Samelia moilai dunu da amoma nodone sia: ne gadosa) amo Na bagadewane higasa. Na da ilima baligiliwane ougi gala. Ilia da habowali seda udigili loboga hamoi ogogole ‘gode’ ilima nodone sia: ne gadoma: bela: ?
An abomination is thy calf, O Samaria! Mine anger is kindled against them; How long will it be ere they can attain to purity!
6 Isala: ili hawa: hamosu dunu da amo ‘gode’ ea loboga hamoi. Be amo da ‘gode’ liligi hame. Gouliga hamoi bulamagau gawali (Samelia dunu da amoma sia: ne gadosa) da goudane fofonobone fasi dagoi ba: mu.
For from Israel it came; The workman made it, and it is no God; Yea, into fragments shall the calf of Samaria be broken.
7 Ilia da wadela: i hou fonobahadi gagoma hawa: agoane bugisia, amo da alebeba: le, ilia da se iasu bagadedafa ba: mu. Gagoma bugi ea fage da hame denesisia, amoga agi ga: gi hamomu da hamedei ba: mu. Be amo bugi da gagoma noga: le legeiyaba, ga fi dunu da amo huluane na dagoi ba: la: loba.
They have sown the wind, And they shall reap the whirlwind. They shall have no standing harvest; The ear shall yield no meal; If perchance it yield, strangers shall devour it.
8 Isala: ili fi da eno osobo bagade fifi asi gala amo defele hamoi dagoi. Ilia da ofodo goudane fasi agoai ba: sa.
Israel is swallowed up; Soon shall they become among the nations As a vessel which no one desireth.
9 Ilia da sigua dougi agoane, gawamaga: i hamoi dagoi. Ilia da ilila: hanaiga ahoa. Ilia da Asilia fi ili fidima: ne adole ba: musa: asi. Amola eno fifi asi gala ilia, ili gaga: ma: ne, ilima bidi iaha.
For they have gone up to Assyria, Like a solitary wild-ass; Ephraim hireth lovers;
10 Be wali Na da ilima se ima: ne, ili gagadomu. Asilia hina bagade da ili banenesisia, ilia da se nababeba: le sosona: gia: mu.
But though they hire among the nations, Soon will I gather the nations against them; Then shall they rest a little while from the burden of their king, and their princes!
11 Isala: ili dunu da wadela: i hou fadegama: ne, oloda bagohame hamosa. Be amo oloda da ilia wadela: i hou hame fadegasa. Ilia da amogawi ogogole gobele salasu hou hamobeba: le, bu baligili wadela: i hamosa.
Ephraim hath built many altars for sin, Therefore shall he have altars for sin.
12 Na da Na fi dunuma olelema: ne, sia: bagohame dedesa. Be ilia da amo olelesu da ga fi ilia olelesu defele, higasa.
Though I write for him many laws, They are accounted as a strange thing;
13 Ilia da Nama gobele salasu hou hamosa, amola amo gobele salasu hu naha. Be Na, Hina Gode, da ilima hahawane hame gala. Amola wali Na da ilia wadela: i hou bu dawa: mu, amola ilima se imunu. Na da ili Idibidi sogega bu asunasimu.
As to the sacrifices which they should offer me, they slay flesh and eat it; Jehovah hath no pleasure in them. Now will he remember their iniquity, And punish their sins; To Egypt shall they return.
14 Isala: ili dunu ilia da hina bagade diasu gaguli gagai. Be ilia Hahamosu Dunu amo ilia da gogolei dagoi. Yuda fi dunu ilia da gagili sali moilai bai bagade gaguli gagai. Be Na da ilia hina bagade diasu huluane amola moilai bai bagade huluane ulagima: ne, lalu iasimu.”
For Israel hath forgotten his Maker, and builded palaces, And Judah hath multiplied fenced cities; But I will send a fire upon his cities, And it shall devour his palaces.
